21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Rewards- Stakes based or fixed tokens allocation based on: February 18, 2019, 02:37:33 PM
Hallo everyone,

Now a days I am seeing many projects are running their bounty program not with stakes based but with fixed tokens allocation for each campaign per week.
I see, from bounty Hunter's perspective not good reward system as we receive less tokens. Even though the number of participants are less, there is no chance to get higher rewards, which is possible with stakes based allocation.
What are your views on this?
Thanks.

In my opinion both of them could be good and bad. It depends on many factors and, for example, if some campaign has a lot of participants fixed token reward will not be so bad option. I think that both types are fair enough.

For seeing the market situation, I doubt fix token rewards will be worth since we don't know if the price of the token rewards will go to it's ICO price and it will be a huge burden nor a waste of time if the one we collected in fix rewards will be so low and didn't even reach eve half of it's ICO value, so much really better if we can get a stake based since a huge possibilities that we can earn more from it.
Well, "didn't even reach eve half of it's ICO value" - if all the tokens I receive would have half the price - I would be happy. Half the price is actually fantastic, now the best indicator is 10% of the ICO price. In General, I agree with @publicjud, both systems have rights to exist.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When bullrun comes on: February 14, 2019, 11:12:00 AM
I agree, many experts predict growth by the end of the year, many say that they just wait...) My judgement - the market is recovered after rapid growth of 2017, and you shan't expect any strong growth till summer.
I already wrote that HardFork ETH can be a good reason. But I can not understand your point of view, what will be the reason for the growth in the summer?
Very prosaic. But I think that we should not expect a bull run. Many have long lost hope for cryptocurrency. It seems to me that bullrun expects only little-known currencies.
Learn the history of the changes in the value of bitcoin and understand why we should be ready for the bull run.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Rewards- Stakes based or fixed tokens allocation based on: February 14, 2019, 11:06:53 AM
The stake based system is good only for bounty campaigns in which a small number of hunters took part, in fact, we get sometimes a super uneven distribution of tokens, and this is not good. There is another aspect. When the bounty is extremely long and without limiting the number of participants. The stake based system becomes hell, and the size of rewards tends to zero.
p.s. I prefer a fixed tokens allocation per action.
24  Local / Tokens (Español) / Re: necesitas dinero? Compra/vende tus STAKES en campañas BOUNTY ;) on: February 13, 2019, 09:55:33 PM
Me registré en el sitio, en este momento, y el problema básico de las startups es un pequeño número de campañas de BOUNTY y precios súper pequeños por STAKES. p.s. El tiempo decidirá si valen la pena o no.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to your tokens when you're gone one day? on: February 13, 2019, 12:53:10 AM
I thought about this question, even when I registered my first wallet. And as far as I remember, there was even some kind of ICO at the end of 2017, which offered the service like transfer of wallets by inheritance jeje I think you need to always have a fallback in such a case.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You've earned tons of tokens, NOW WHAT? on: February 13, 2019, 12:46:37 AM
I have accumulated a huge number of tokens that can never be sold. What to do? Nothing, they brought only disappointment, I am not going to spend time on a point to burn them or to put orders on the EtherDelta.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding multiple altcoins on: February 12, 2019, 11:03:47 PM
Asset diversification is very good, on the one hand, but if we are talking about crypto, here is another mechanic. I have seen many examples on cryptocompare or similar websites. Usually, the portfolio is not more than 5-10 altcoins.
p.s. With regards to "Hodler", it's hard to say, I use the metamask (if we talk about ETH and tokens) and I am absolutely satisfied.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When bullrun comes on: February 12, 2019, 11:00:13 PM
Well, I will answer, every time when I see that the price of ETH begins to rise over the course of a week or more, every time at this moment hope grows in me. For example, the situation now, perhaps right now will be a smooth start, just at the end of February finally be hard fork ETH, I think this moment can be the beginning of a good start.

At what stage is the project? I looked at the last 20 posts on Twitter and there is the same text "Take the path to the future of money. Find your own invitation", do you have technical news? what is the progress in the development of Hydra blockchain?

Yes the last SM posts refer to the new ongoing campaign. The platform development has been delayed by the difficult crypto market, so our objectives there have not been met in these continued circumstances, and project awareness is being built otherwise. You can read about the new campaign, the project roadmap and more on our website https://argentas.io.
Yes, I, to be honest, assumed it would, given all the recent events. However, I am glad that you do not give up and look for options and alternatives. Keep it up.

🚦If navigating in a new city (or even our own one) causes troubles and you end up not in the place you wanted to be, it’s high time to rethink the usage of our navigator and probably switch to more visual one like Google’s augmented reality map.

However, it is not open for public, some people managed to test it and mentioned, that this app really helps you out at complicated intersections.

How it works:
You need to open the map, place the phone in front of your eyes, and the arrows will show you the way and will navigate you, but watch out! The phone will switch to a traditional map view if you put it down.

Developers are still working on the app trying to make it work properly. Read more about the app and its readiness:

I always knew that Google would be one step ahead, especially with new technologies like augmented reality. Have you considered any option of integrating the Arcona system with navigation systems, for example, Google?
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing In ICO's vs Investing AFTER The ICO on: February 11, 2019, 07:57:25 PM
Investing after the ICO is now much more profitable, because many coins fall as soon as they enter the exchange!
Depending on the project dump is measurable by speculators. Not all projects fail to pass requirements for entering exchanges but almost all coins got sold by private investors and bounty hunters. ICOs are not considered as profitable investment anymore.
yes you're right, if you really want to try investing you should buy after ico. even then if you think the project is good. so before buying you should make observations first.
And my two cents: given the situation on the market, even "AFTER The ICO" and entering the exchange, do not rush to buy a token/coin, often in the first few months after the end of the ICO - the project team can disappear or there will be other unpleasant nuances.

🤓Have you tried Snap Chat's filters with glasses and probably thought why frame brands still don't have such cool AR feature?

Well, now they have!

You can virtually try on different frames of numerous designs without leaving your home. The camera scans your face creating a precise copy of it. You can select different designs, share it with your friends and family, get feedback and then just make an order.

The buying process is undergoing a transformation and brick-and-mortar stores are now becoming more like a final destination in a long process of searching, doing research and only after that visiting the store itself.

AR definitely changes the way we shop and we at Arcona are just looking forward to seeing more use cases and offer even more exciting opportunities.

Arcona Arcona) we are all confident in the success of the company, but when will you be with the news from your own development department? How's the progress in iOS development going?  Wink
We are working on iOS now and fingers crossed we will have it by March

March? I.e., a development time of about 3-4 months, so the Android version will be in the summer? So long...
Narva Battle app - iOS only?

Everything passes and this will pass! (King Solomon)
The crypto is already in the present and undoubtedly the future quantum science!

If everyone around did not write the HODL in early 2018, then I would sell all the tokens as planned and would be with a much larger profit) So that the HODL or not HODL depends on the specific situation for each coin/token...even now.

👾 Spending huge sums of money on games is not something principally new. Many games, based on collecting and purchasing gear, tools, levels, and powers, gather millions of like-minded people.

This fundamental principle is not alien to the industry of AR and VR since a lot of projects are of a gaming type and include obtaining some specific stuff. The Arcona project, having a wide range of applications for businesses and back-end users, has a gaming potential too, since the project deals with the objects of interactive content.

We closely follow the development in the game industry and monitor the growing potential of cross-application interoperability, which is the future of gaming and many other industries.

👍 Read a new article on how to use Arcona’s Digital Lands in the gaming industry: http://blog.arcona.io/2019/02/05/games-on-blockchain/
If we talk about games, what is the fate of the game that appears on your YouTube channel in several videos, it's just a presentation or something more? (where they shoot the guns kernels)
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing In ICO's vs Investing AFTER The ICO on: February 06, 2019, 08:38:25 PM
Its worth investing when you get to have the tokens ready to sell while the bounty hunters hasn't yet had their tokens. This is when you can get your chance to play pump and dump yourself. I tried this before I never really earn much but I think if you have enough funds, you can make money out of being an ICO investor.

do you think that bounty hunters have great affect on token price? they receive a small amount compared to overall supply and can't dump the price.
Here I can bet, most of the participants of the bounty campaign are short-distance players who sell tokens/coins immediately after appearing on the exchange and there are a large number of ICO projects, where the bounty/marketing, laid large budgets of 3-7 % of the total issue of tokens/coins (not the number sold, but the total number). So, yeah - can dump the price.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing In ICO's vs Investing AFTER The ICO on: February 05, 2019, 01:25:04 PM
I think today it is better not to invest in ICO projects, as they do not have a finished product, and the period of self-repayment can last several years. But if you have a great desire, I would choose "investing after ICO" - even in the best times when alt. coins grew very fast, even at that time, buying after the ICO was more profitable.

Que opináis de la nueva NVIDIA TITAN Xp? Yo he leído que vale muchísimo para lo que realmente te acaba mejorando en el rendimiento en cuanto a juegos, pero con esto se puede minar? No creo.. no? o si?..  Wink

Por cierto están agotadas y valen unos 1300€, no se si es porque es buena o solo por tenerla porque es la mejor.

http://www.nvidia.es/graphics-cards/geforce/pascal/titan-xp/

40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it ok to lock your bounty for 4 months on: February 04, 2019, 06:05:53 AM
Any action regarding the freezing/blocking of tokens is in the interests of the company and is correct. Accordingly, any action in the interests of the company has the highest priority. What's the point of getting a token after a bounty now if its price quickly drops 10-100 times? Wait 4 months, there is nothing terrible in my opinion. (Do not be so selfish as to put your own interest as a bounty member above the interests of the company).
