Yifu fuck all the buyers in this delaying style.

Maybe his nickname should be YuFuk from now on...

xcrowd is just a laugh. Want to collect millions in orders but have no clue of getting a decent webshop up and running. m(

Out of curiosity which order # are we at now? Anyone?

a friend of mine just told me on the phone, that he has seen yifu the other day in NY. He was trying to ask him but some bulldozer guys took care of him, he went to hospital...

is this yifu's way of telling his customers "HAHA SCREWD!" ?

If true someone broke the law.
not sure how paranoid he has gotten ...

wie ist hier eigentlich das geplante weitere Vorgehen?
32  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Incoming Avalon News 8/9/2013 on: August 11, 2013, 06:35:25 PM
Thats who we need to get... Steven SeaGull.
Not Chuck Norris? Or David Hasselhoff?

Your calculations are still wrong  Roll Eyes
I have the largest systems for each category, price being
10*1099=10990
16*999=15984

Maybe I'm being dense, I really am not seeing where I went wrong.  Just want to make sure everything is in the right place.

In one of the xCrowd topics it was established that each blade is 75GH/s, which might not be the case, but it looks like it.
According to your calculations each blade is 150GH/s

Maybe you should wait until more information is presented and then include them in your table.
At the moment there are 2 sets of prices and it is unclear which one is for what.

But one this is sure: there is no way 2400GH/s would cost 16K USD Wink

All blades for our larger two models will hash at a minimum of 150GH/s per blade at stock clock rates. The past prices per GH is set by the market; not the actual production costs.

So an Olympus with 8 blades will hash at 1200Ghs and will cost 7992USD if paid upfront?

Yes, excluding shipping and PSU option prices; which will be announced on our launch and on our website.

And that launch is tomorrow?

Please remove xCrowd from your chart. The numbers are just not right. The xCrowd website isn't even available atm. Let them announce final numbers first.

they announced tomorrow on twitter, not sure for what. But maybe they are releasing some "big numbers" tomorrow. Just wait and see.

But i am with you in the point of "the numbers are just not right" seems too good in my opinion.

Nor do they have any kind of design team to speak of; they're still running ads for IC designers, let alone any with any real ASIC experience.

The main problem is the fact that in the last month so many "companies" popped up with "very efficient" and "cheap" devices. And none of them released anything "real" its all just big talk and nothing exists. As long as they dont release something real, in quantities bigger than just 10 prototypes they are as trustworthy as him

38  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: August 09, 2013, 09:20:49 PM
KNC just announced a November price of less than 5000 USD

sadly i think in November it will be just a very expensive doorstop Sad
39  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: August 08, 2013, 09:18:32 PM
Get working prototypes.
Make everything as transparent as possible
Dont sell things that dont exist at the moment of selling
deliver on time

profit.

Who are you kidding? Here's a more likely scenario: Lie = more profit. That's how the world works.
my statement was posted as a customer, willing to pay if above points are fulfilled, not as company.

in germany we say "greed eats brain" (Gier frisst Hirn). Thats what seems to be happening to many so called "asic companies".
