I like the idea of going back to the basics.
Perhaps I am one of those people who are nostalgic for the old days but I don't really like how the cryptoverse has changed in recent times. Used to be that starting a new coin or project was all about the technology and what it could bring to the table. These days, most of the coins and tokens have no other purpose than to attract would-be investors and earning their creators an windfall.
I look at all the outright exploitation of the airdrops and bounties and what-not; the developers who care only about how much they can squeeze out of their coin before running away with the funds; the projects that pop up at the drop of a hat that get abandoned just as quickly. It is a shame what the cryptoverse has turned into. And it is also the reason for crypto's bad name.
Nevra will hopefully be a step in the right direction towards righting the ship. And perhaps, with that, the rest will follow and crypto can return to what it used to be, instead of the debacle it currently is.

I also encourage everyone to dump if they want when markets open, this is a great way to get rid of short term profiters that could care less about the project, in a way, is like a 4th round, a final round of filtering people who care about the long term growth, and people who didn't. Bounty hunters do this all the time because they do not perceive the real value they have in their hands.
Let's say there are 100 people decide to dump their holding once the market open, and there are 20 whales keep buying, isnt this essentially making nevra more centralized and not being distributed properly? It should not be about filtering out people who want to make short term money, but to make it more accessible. The point should be reducing the exposure of it before it has a real use case, like becoming a merchant payment method. By doing so, they will be person who are legitly buying it to use it, not as a speculative investment, and in turn let more people get to hold some of it. No one can control the distribution once the airdropped coins have been given to the stakeholders. Dumpers and whales will do what they have always done since time immemorial. One thing you may wish to note is that Nevra will be implementing the Proof-of-Importance algorithm that NEM is currently running on. Hoarding coins in the long run will not be beneficial. 1) CPU mining is still not working
2) The BrainMath image doesn't refresh properly and pressing the refresh image button doesn't do anything
The CPUMining is still disabled until everything is solved. For the image issue, what browser are you using? We tested on Chrome and Firefox and images refreshes. Chrome. It lags rather badly. And if you happen to give the right answer at the same time as someone else, the image doesn't refresh and could remain unchanged for 2-3 questions. |

UPDATE- Website online - All the pending rewardings were paid - Added the BrainMath as website page until new client is released. So we can even hard test it and the server before make the client update. It is now accessible to: http://www.diracoin.org/BrainMath. - We tried many ways to avoid scripting but none of them revealed itself a solution, even adding an extra window where putting the solution is easily to hijack by modifying the client side of the page. reCaptcha was tried too but sometimes it causes users a lot of delay cause it doesn't always recognize at first try a human and asks a lot of questions. So the current solution was to mask the image with a watermark, adding the shadow and a background that make really harder to OCR it. We tried at least 6 online services and none of them was capable to catch the numbers correctly. - CPUMining: analyzing the web hosting logs we found a bug who causes an abnormal consuming of CPU (not yet solved) and RAM (partially solved), so we are optimizing every single line of code in order to make the entire thing as light as possible. - NODES: we doubled the reward amount until we setup the leasing (the current problems broke our plan). If we skipped some payments please let us know. - IS MY NODE ONLINE? : To check it out just go in the client, click on settings ad the top right and "Peers", if your node is up you should see there. 1) CPU mining is still not working 2) The BrainMath image doesn't refresh properly and pressing the refresh image button doesn't do anything |

Equality is rare nowadays. By using the NEV system I believe this token/coin (This part I pretty confuse) can tackle the inequality problem. If the equality is achieved, hence the coin will be truly decentralized. Goodluck for the developer who try to disrupt crypto world with this coin Nevrastake (NEV) will first be a token or asset on the NEM network and utilising the NEM wallets. Once the mainnet is launched, the Nevrastake will be swapped to Nevra (XEV) which will be a coin with its own blockchain. Hopefully that helps to clear up any confusion. |

I think that we should apply additional requirements to avoid huge number of multiregistrations.
I propose the following requirement - Each participant must have telegram account + Twitter or Facebook or Medium or Reddit account, registered before 10th of Feb.
Social Media accounts it is good feed for review of registrations.
Thanks for the suggestions BluRPie. We are well aware of the usual shenanigans of airdrop spammers and are looking into ways of preventing that. That is also the reason why there will be 3 rounds of "vetting" prior to the final confirmation of stakeholders. Right now, we are just collating the number of interested participants. The vetting process will only commence after the airdrop registration closes on Mar 31 (2359h PST). |

Does your website have a website? I often do not trust projects where it does not have a website because I think that is the basis for evaluating a good project. I am waiting for more information from this project to decide to invest in it.
The website is almost ready. But there isn't any investment required for this project. No ICO, no bounty, no presale so why don't you take a look at the whitepaper then decide if you want to be a part of this project? I am interested in the js dev for this project.

Your wallet address is the address of the NEM wallet, why not consider developing your own wallet or eth address? I think the NEM wallet for a lot of people a bit unfamiliar, of course, you may have your consideration, perhaps I NEM Poor understanding of the wallet. Of course, this time involved in your activities may be a good opportunity for me to know NEM wallet, I will download one now.
I don't see any reason to create a new wallet in the near future , if the NEM wallet is working fine. People would also rather download a wallet that has been proven safe i think. The focus should be on the technology imo. Yep, it is all about the technology. It's kinda like saying... don't use Ethereum wallets for an ERC20 token... Which doesn't make any sense whatsoever. But as mentioned in the OP, NEV will start out as a NEM asset and later be swapped to XEV with its own network. |

I have been the part of NEM and many other coins too. And I watched as it grew in value. Although I did not keep it until now. It was such an experience. Thing about crypto is, it's still in early stages. No matter how much you sell it for. The future holds something much bigger, it leaves a such an unsatisfactory feeling. In a few years from now the marketcap of each of the cryptocoins could be reaching few billions.
Edit: I am a web developer of sorts. And would love to make a website for the coin. Although I don't have a hosting.
