21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who to trust? on: November 22, 2020, 03:45:02 PM
Well, I know Nagayocrypto is a complete scam.  Sad I did not want to make the same mistake twice and that is how I found you guys Smiley Received a respond from minersdepo assuring me they are legit but came here and read otherwise. So other then paying 5000$ on ebay for a AS 10 pro where could a great guy like me buy one. At this point I don't even trust the manufactures website because I have seen it duplicated. Any ideas, are am I on the wrong block?

It is your own duty to be careful online and double check each and every thing especially where money is involved you need to do complete due diligence before paying because it is better to be safe than sorry.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi protocol Pickle Finance hacked for $20,000,000 on: November 22, 2020, 02:00:53 PM
A yield finance protocol Pickle Finance was hacked today for a significant amount.
Pickle finance representatives advised its users to withdraw their DAI balance from Pickle, until the situation gets resolved.
Nearly $20,000,000 DAI was stolen from a wallet belonging to Pickle Finance by an unknown hacker.

I think it is about time that all new defi platforms should be forced to stop business somehow and then security and code audit should be done professionally to get rid of any loopholes only then they should  be allowed to resume business.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: November 21, 2020, 07:28:07 PM
Altcoins are really scary, if you can do some research you will see many good altcoins that had very good start and value in 2018 and are still alive today but we never heard anything good from them anymore for some reasons, they are now like ghosts, honestly altcoin investment is more scary, this is why its better to always take profit, most especially from new altcoins, Profit is Profit, either big or small.
That is why i chose low risk coins only as new coins with no development and unknown teams have low chances of success so staying in top coins is the right thing to do because every bull wave is going to increase their value massively.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the current Bull run stop on: November 21, 2020, 06:36:34 PM
Hey, i think another round of newbies getting entangled and trap in the current bull run is about to happen. we watch bitcoin move very fast from 15,000k to 17,000k within days . Not just the normal gradually process but as fast as we never espect.it looks exactly the same way it happened in 2017. many got trapped and they regrets the move. the ground is set and i am certain it will happen again.
Everything Mooning like someone is sitting somewhere pushing the gas. experience traders are riding the bull and making money, influencers are pushing those that care to listen while the Newbies are screening. GO BITCOIN, GO BITCOIN.
Just be careful and Never forget to use the stop lost(its like a seatbelt) because we will definitely meet the bears on our way up some day. But that day is not soon so lets enjoy the bull together.
I have no idea about it but i am enjoying these days and i hope that it will continue for many months, major opinion in the market is that it will continue for the full 2021 as parabolic market is expected in coming months.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't repeat same mistakes on: November 21, 2020, 12:12:42 PM
In 2017 when bullrun took over crypto space and many altcoins joined later some people still keep holding thinking that their altcoins will keep surging and surging, little did they know that bull season always have short life span when comparing to bear season, bear season can stay for years but bull season is just in months, so why are you holding when you should be selling?

Remember that some bought bitcoin at 20k and they have no choice but to hold till today, imagine all this year's waiting just to get back to where you once are. Bitcoin is over 18k now, good for them cos they are near recovery since 2017.

Know when to get in and know when to get out, don't be a greedy bastard.
Do you have a superior mind or a crystal ball where you can see the exact peaks and dip levels?
I do not think there is much to blame here because everyone has his own situation and financial strategy and affordability. Personally i will hold till price grows to new highs and expected peaks.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value VS gold value on: November 20, 2020, 06:18:37 PM
What determines the value of Bitcoin

How long will the price of Bitcoin rise?

Is Bitcoin a commodity or a currency?
I see that the price of Bitcoin is skyrocketing, and this is what makes it dangerous

How investors pay huge sums in a currency that may lose its value at any moment

What if Bitcoin faced the threat of a global ban?
At this moment it will become worthless
Some countries recognize it, others do not, and some ban it completely

We are in danger
Is it a bubble that may disappear at any time?

I see it as a pretty easy currency, better than cash
But there may be an adjustment that poses a risk to us investors
This amendment includes determining the value of Bitcoin so that it does not rise abnormally like gold

Now, we find that gold has an almost constant value, and it increases by a specific percentage annually

And gold is also what we use in printing currencies
It is what we have been using for thousands of years and this is what makes it the basis

Countries can not print money except with gold reserves
Will bitcoin replace gold one day Huh?
The big secret that makes bitcoin more valuable to even gold is the fixed and decreasing supply and the fact that there can never be any fake or counterfeit bitcoins, these special things make bitcoin much more valuable and attractive for investors.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 6 DeFi projects to watch in 2020 🎯 on: November 20, 2020, 03:46:37 PM
There are so many new DeFi projects that keep appearing, so I made a list of the top 6.

2. UniSwap

4. Synthetix
5. Yearn Finance
6. Curve

What other projects are you guys interested in? If they are reputable ill add them.

I am excited about new version and new features of uniswap platform because uniswap is something that is very close to my own liking as i was personally looking for something like this for both instant trades as well as investment.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: November 20, 2020, 09:29:42 AM
I am a long term supporter  of Ethereum and  know that it is the most trusted network to create smart contracts but the kind of Huge fees for withdrawal and swapping of tokens, we have to nowadays due to slow network or congestion , is going to make it unpopular coin in coming months and other networks like, Binance, EOS, Polka Dot may take its place . The issue with Ethereum is that its developers are trying to scale running Blockchain which is like repairing a car while driving.
So what exactly you were looking for, do you want to see a new coin or they should close the main ethereum and launch a completely new project from scratch? Being an established and the biggest blockchain network project they simply cannot do that otherwise market can panic that is why they decided to upgrade the same blockchain and also remember many layer 2 solutions are also available now for faster and cheaper eth transactions so personally i see no problem for eth rather im positive and bullish about ethereum.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: November 16, 2020, 09:07:31 PM
Almost all projects are cheating and refusing to give tokens at the end of bounty management. It's really sad that hunters work hard but they don't get tokens as a rule..

When the bounty is over, the team is making new plans so that they can easily escape by cheating.

I would like to say to all professional managers that Escrowed is very important and all of you should follow it.

Just in my opinion
Otherwise
1. Hunter will decrease
2. Team cheating step will increase

Yes escrow is important because there are reports of a project not paying hunters for long. I was in a telegram crypto group where people do post about such projects that are hesitant to pay hunters. Recently a friend posted about Payaccept project who had a bounty campaign that ended 2-3 months ago but from that time they are making unnecessary delays, drama and have rude behavior with hunters so i think they should be ashamed of themselves because such behavior is not only unethical but unacceptable.
Some other projects who ran campaigns for months are also playing delaying games and some of them includes koinpro, swapzilla, billcrypt etc. So definitley Escrow can make sure that hunters will receive their rightful reward on time.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of bounty hunters on: November 16, 2020, 09:00:41 AM
I would like to make it clear that I have been a bounty hunter, bounty manager, and part of project management for various projects and this is not to support the bounty hunters but rather to show the reality how bounty hunters and what they go through in this forum.

I know it's not easy to manage a bounty campaign as you will receive thousands of messages from irritating users, there will be hundreds of fake entries in the spreadsheet then you real users disputing that they didn't receive stakes because some imposters have entered their address against the real user's name and sometimes bounty managers or dev team's response would not be the politest one.

But at the same time there are hundreds of hardworking bounty hunters who work really hard in the hope that their efforts would be rewarded but all the efforts are shadowed by the wrongdoings of few cheap users with fake accounts who bombard, spam the bounty groups and harass bounty managers as a result whole bounty hunter community is looked with suspicious and selfish.

Bounty tokens contribute a very small portion of the total supply if we look at the percentage of tokens which are traded but still bounty hunters are blamed for dumping the market with cheap price, regardless of the price bounty hunters sell the tokens if the project is good then the price will not be affected or even if it's affected it will eventually recover without much loss but they are blamed for dump wherein it's sometimes investors who dump the token for quick profit.

The worst part is when tokens are locked for bounty hunters and only distributed to them when the market is already broken by investors, after their efforts and ill-treatment in the hands of such bounties they finally receive worthless tokens which would be a loss even if they trade as the tokens will not even worth the GAS fee charged in MEW wallet to transfer it.

I urge all the management and bounty managers to treat bounty hunters with respect and they shouldn't be judged.

I have made a similar article about the pain of bounty managers and here is the link you may read it and understand I have seen both the phases

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5219422.msg53662033#msg53662033

I agree to the fact that bounty hunters should be given the due respect because they are here to help promote and market the project. The result of bounty campaign depends vastly on the quality of the project and how attractive it is for investors so in all situations bounty hunters who have performed the job should be paid  and thanked because they have done their job.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lebanon to launch digital currency in face of economic and financial turmoil on: November 15, 2020, 09:08:37 PM
Lebanon’s central bank plans to launch a new digital currency in 2021 as part of a broader effort to combat a parallel economic and financial crisis that has engulfed the country.  READ THE COMPLETE DETAILS HERE: https://worldpublicityblog.com/index.php/2020/11/14/lebanon-to-launch-digital-currency-in-face-of-economic-and-financial-turmoil/
I do not think that every country needs a separate digital currency. I still wish they should declare real crypto coin as official digital currency. If someone is concerned about volatility they can announce 2 official coins one original crypto and one stablecoin like btc-usdt or eth-usdc as national digital coins.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite project these days? on: November 15, 2020, 07:22:47 PM
What is your favorite project these days?

I think Ethereum it's the best project. haha

There will be projects in various fields,
1. Please tell me your favorite project.
2. Recently, let me know what you think is the best project and what the area of the project is.
The topic clearly states "these days" so i do not know why people are posting about top coins that are almost in everyones portfolio. I think we should post about less talked about projects in this thread so these days utrust utk has become my favorite projects and that is due to practicle and quality platform with high end partnerships and massive use cases that are required for crypto adoption.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 15, 2020, 06:03:55 PM
Which do you think is best for a new project and why?

ICO - initial coin offering
IEO - initial Exchange offering
IDO - initial Dex offering
STO - Secority token offering

IEO is always the best for me because infinity I can be sure that they will not scam and will enter the exchange market in the future. In addition, IEO of top exchanges are always the best such as like binance, kucoin. So you should participate in all these IEO because the amount of risk is to low.

Note- I don't know if the same topic has been presented in the past and I'm creating the topic with my own ideas.
I do think that Initial Exchange Offering based projects are better if compared to open ICOs or other methods of fund raising especially at top exchanges, you can check that most ieo based projects are doing well while most of ico based projects are struggling, failed or closed.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum remains the king of altcoins on: November 14, 2020, 08:18:51 PM
We have etherum bossing altcoins since time past and there has been non replica of any coin that has tried bossing etherum
Just like bitcoin is a king on its own, etherum remains a king on its own too.

Looking forward to the influence of bnb tokens, and okb tokens can have on etherum dominance.
What to expect for the future of eth?
I think with eth 2.0, faster and cheaper transactions, pos algorithm, more scalability and adoptibility for dapps, defi, securities and automation i expect eth dominance to grow even more and also the value.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hidden team members or not make any difference? on: November 14, 2020, 07:45:36 PM
There are various kind of old crypto projects that has no team but still they are among the best projects today, I believe this happened because many old projects followed the footstep of Bitcoin, bitcoin would have been in tougher situations if the team or ceo is public I believe but today it's a complete different story or should I say experience? Since the birth of ICO we've seen tons of scam projects that aren't scared of revealing their faces even when they knew they are going to exit scam on investors fund, so for me hidden team members or not still doesn't make a difference..
I have been in crypto space since 2016-17 so i have seen different types of markets and especially ico boom as well but my personal experience is not good when it comes to projects with hidden teams as most end up as scams and i feel safe with fully transparent projects that is why i do not recommend investing in hidden team projects.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi really a threat to centralized finance? on: November 14, 2020, 05:38:57 PM
The you think defi a a threat to the future of centralized finance? What's your opinion?
Just they are working along at the moment they will continue doing so. In my opinion, there is no threat to anyone, it is just that defi will grow and its market share will increase significantly in coming years and it will become first choice of modern users and tech enthusisats.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be very cautious with your alts this period, you either sell early or hold. on: November 13, 2020, 06:43:56 PM
Bitcoin bull run has a sad occurrence that sees alts dumping in price which leads to many noobs panic selling their bags to the whales and smarter investors who knows how the market operates. While many will be advising you to dump your coins, do know they're those waiting patiently to steal those bags off you as there's another occurrence that not many tends to highlight, which is the fact that alts bounced back after the bitcoin rally are over. Don't be that user that'll regret selling their bags during the rough times instead hold unto your investment. You holding unto your investments has to have some very strong backing like the project has to be really worth it and not the hyped shitcoins getting listed on all exchanges this days. Do your due diligence and get the coins now that they're cheap because a bounce will be coming immediately bitcoin rally is paused.
I have the same point of view because we have expereienced this in the past. I am talking about raging or parabolic btc bulls where all other coins are under pressure and it is hard for them to maintain value because people start flipping alts to btc to take advantage of the run that results in even more pressure on alts.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects can still deliver on: November 13, 2020, 05:39:32 PM
Out of many new projects there will always be rare gems amongst the crap ones, many said we've seen enough new projects so they should stop production, well thanks to nonstop new project productions we have this coins today and few make it to top 30

1. ChainLink   #5 on coinmarketcap
2. Polkadot.    # 8 on coinmarketcap
3. Uniswap           # 31 on coinmarketcap
4. Aave.             #29 on coinmarketcap
5. Synthetix.      #38 on coinmarketcap

Still thinks that new projects have nothing new to offer? Think again
Obviously new projects are based on innovation so they should be encouraged, yes some projects do fail to live up to the expectations of the investors but still every year we see top quality projects coming up which is really great.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will crypto behave during a Biden presidency? on: November 13, 2020, 04:29:25 PM
After Biden has been declared the winner of the US presidency, there's a lot of uncertainty regarding to crypto's (and the mainstream economy) behavior during the next 4 years. At times, it's been shown that crypto prices move either up or down depending on certain events in the mainstream world. Some people say that in a Democratic administration, the stock market (and crypto too) will experience a constant uptrend in price. Others say the contrary when Republicans are in power. Since 2020 has been filled with uncertainty, anything could happen in the following months.

This makes me wonder how will a Biden presidency impact crypto? Will crypto continue to soar towards new heights? Do you think that a Democratic administration will be much more friendly towards the crypto/Blockchain industry in general?

Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Smiley
I have heard that his financial team will be lead by some pro crypto people also due to a lot of strong voices in the US congress to encourage and promote crypto I think good times for crypto are coming soon in US.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who would have thought that music projects still have a chance? on: November 09, 2020, 09:10:08 PM
Honestly I never thought that there would come a time when a music based crypto project wi actually works, tell me how many of you guys knew that audio (AUDIUS) can be this successful? The token brings over 400% gains for investors, I always have thing for crypto music projects but I've been failed too many times, the last one that broke my heart was Moozicore, do you guys have any in mind? What's your thought on this?
Yes, I have also seen many music and even gaming based projects to struggle or fail because of no real userbase or demand.
Audius seems to be an exceprion but in my view till now the price pump or hype is due to the news that binance is backing this project so it is not the product yet just hype is selling this project lets see how it will do after a year and how good their products will be.
