21  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We made (yet a better) twitter liquidation bot, @RektIndex. on: November 10, 2019, 09:29:05 AM
No it's not us.

The old bitmexrekt is now rebranded as @BxRekt

But there's no filters whatsoever. Enabling notifications on their feed will make u mad.

The goal here is to have your phone ringing when shit happens. Not just anytime like with other liquidation bots.

For exchanges addition we will focus on the main. We have a private testnet on a private discord so we won't push until we confident we won't bother our users with random bugs or missing data or poor threshold settings.

If the twitter account get traction we'll see for exchanges addition request. In all case we plan to MERGE all exchange in one feed, with one average price. The goal is to track as much liquidity as possible.

Thanks for the support, cheers

Thanks for that. I hope we won't disappoint. We need some time to make more exchanges available and find them sweet settings.

The data is averaged so you will lack of precision, but looking at whalecalls or bxrekt "precision" makes you go dumb, that's why we created this monster.

Sharing around would help a lot as I don't have many social accounts to advertise it. Working for more people would motivates us more I guess.

Cheers
24  Bitcoin / Project Development / We made a (yet a better) twitter liquidation bot, @RektIndex. on: November 08, 2019, 05:47:32 PM

Hello Friends,

We're working on a twitter liquidation bot, we pushed it live few days ago, you can check it out on twitter https://twitter.com/RektIndex

Our goal is to make a more common tool to get liquidations alerts than bxrekt or whalecalls that are just basically spamming liquidations, most often for nothing.

For now we're retrieving only bitmex data. In the future we will add more futures contracts and liquidations feed like bitfinex, okex, huobi...

Enable notifications to get its full potential, and your phone will is supposed to ring only when big moves occurs and big liquidity pools are hit.

(Spoiler alert: there might be a few bugs as we just launched it)

How does it work:

- Retrieves data from exchange

- Stores data and computes stats (we will ad more over time through the sub account @RektIndex_Stats)

- Triggers a tweet when a defined price threshold hits within a defined timer. Currently $5,000,000 and 30 minutes.(Threshold and timeframe are shown in the bio. It is obviously submitted to change as we add more exchanges)

- Liquidations are aggregated accross all (supported) markets, prices shown are averaged accross markets (currently bitmex)It means that we can reach the threshold with only small liquidations.
In which case it will most often not trigger any tweet because it would have taken more than 30mn to reach $5m.
Basically no "under the radar" small batches of liquidations gets away from it. Everything counts.

Give it a try and feel free to ask anything on here or on twitter.

Cheers guys; aaaaand try not to get liquidated.

RektIndex Shit Team Inc.

Btw if someone can spread this post on r/bitcoinmarkets, r/CryptoCurrency and other bitcoin dedicated subreddits that'd be cool as we don't have any accounts old enough to post there.

Cool suggestion. I'm posting in dev and changed the title.

I hope you'll find it useful.

Cheers
26  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We made a (yet another) twitter liquidation bot, @RektIndex. on: November 08, 2019, 04:49:13 PM
It's not updated every 30mn.

It's a rule to avoid spam, so users can enable notifications. I don't know if you follow dumb bots like whalecalls or bxrekt, but they blindly post every liquidation, which makes enabling notifications a nightmare.

So here it will aggregate every liquidation it finds, accross EVERY supported contracts (for now, bitmex, soon to come, okex, then we'll see.) it will (weighted) average the liquidation. if threshold is met within 30mn -> it will tweet. If not, it will stay quiet.

Example:

Threshold is $5m
Timer is set to 30mn

XBTUSD short liquidation for $5000 (threshold is not met) at a price of 9000
1mn later we have a XBTZ liquidation for $1m (1,005,000) at a price of 9150
5mn later we have a XBTH liquidation for $4m (5,005,000 count) at a price of 9300

threshold hits within 30minutes, it will post a notification that $5,005,000 shorts have been liquidated at average price (averaging by weight 9000-9150 and 9300)

OR

XBTUSD short liquidation for $5000 (threshold is not met) at a price of 9000
1mn later we have a XBTZ liquidation for $1m (1,005,000) at a price of 9150
30mn with no liquidation. Timer resets.
5mn later we have a XBTH liquidation for $4m at a price of 9300 -> count is $4m, threshold is not met. no post.

To see the liquidations on a trading view chart you'd need to load (xbtusd+xbth+xbtz)/3.

I hope I've been clear enough.

We are currently testing and we'll be adding new exchanges so $5m threshold is provisory and it will obv grow bigger with more exchanges tracked.

Cheers

edit: We have no plans to add any shitcoins, or maybe later on sub accounts. Our focus is really to have a bot that gives proper twitter alerts. If it posts then something is happening.

For info, I have a lux withdrawal:

#   Currency   Amount   Fee   Status   TransactionId   Address   Timestamp
3229262   LUX   102.73247255   0.01000000   Complete   b8070b2fa6a2ca756730e6edb31f2571ff0578c0940eb2ec4458b954a275e2b7   LLMf2WCKcJApkwDhHRc1yYQmVMc8MKYaRP   20/02/2018 6:46:00 PM

Tx wasn't broadcasted but the account was emptied, no answer from support.

If you wanna buy lux you prolly should wait for a better exchange.

Have a nice day.
