Hi.
How to make mining software restart after it crashes?
After update to newest phoenixminer with turbo kernerls it crashes more often. I think it is because I only have 120gb ssd. When u combine 13x radeon 580 8gb gpu if requires 99% disk space making the software to crash a few times a week.

Got 0.3 for each card myself

Getting errors with clkernel 3

gpu 7: clenqueueCopyBuffer (-4)
Thread(s) not responsding. Restarting
gpu 9: clenqueueCopyBuffer (-4)
gpu 8: clenqueueCopyBuffer (-4)
gpu 10: clenqueueCopyBuffer (-4)
gpu 11: clenqueueCopyBuffer (-4)
gpu 13: clenqueueCopyBuffer (-4)
gpu 12: clenqueueCopyBuffer (-4)

I have 3 identical rigs (13x radeon 570 8gb). Rig 1 is working (speed rised from 408 to 411). Rig 2 working after restart. Rig 3 is not working, have to use clkernel 1.
Come on guys, read older posts.
Set your virual memory to at least cards number X 6 + 4 GB and everything will be all right with -clkernel 3

Ah. Trying the same settings as on rig1 now. initial size virtual memory 65000, maximum size 90000 mb.

I am using 4.0B without any issues.
Does this only affect if the miner crash and have to restart?

How will dual mining affect ETH hashrate and power usage?
Using radeon 570

I try with my 4x RX470, 600 W in solo, 705 W adding Blake2S from Nicehash, the hasrate drop from 29,8 MH/s per card to 28,2 Mh/s

Does blak2s earnings cover the new power cost?

Using radeon 570

Dual mining will increase the power usage a lot. By the way, most of the second coin can be mined with ASIC. So it is not profitable to dual mine.

Thanks.
Whats the point om implementing in then...

What is Blake2s? I cant find any coins on whattomine.com
Verge (XVG) uses PoW consensus algorithm with hash functions Scrypt, x17, Groestl, Blake2s и lyra2rev2. If you wish to mine it with Blake2s, you have to use ASIC Baikal Giant B (pool CoinMiners ). As I know PhoenixMiner doesn't support it, but it is one of the best miners for Ethash algo. I'm using it on almost all rigs. There are some problems only with GTX1080 with Enlargment pill and on rig with ASRock H110 BTC with 12 AMD cards - they are crashing with Phoenix.

Ok. So there is no point using dual mine if u only have gpu?

Cheap electricity and still mining Smiley

When turning the rig on and off the hashrate went from 408 to 401.
How is that possible. Is auto-tune that unstable?
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 3.0c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Windows) on: September 11, 2018, 06:14:21 PM
With green kernels enabled (13 amd 570):
Went from 1624W 406 mh/s to 1590W 407.5 mh/s
Thanks Cheesy

The last amd gpu 13th on this board always stays with overvoltage 1.00v no matter what i do, any workaround it?

What do u do to try to lower?
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Windows 10 lag (b250 mining expert 9 rx580) on: August 13, 2018, 08:19:50 AM
I've posted a solution in a similar thread, hope that helps
set your primary GPU to CPU Graphics, disable iGPU Multi-Monitor in UEFI and connect a display to MB's HDMI connector. your rig freezes because Windows tries to use one of your AMD GPUs for multi-monitor output, if you disable that option in UEFI all the lags will be gone.

Win 1803 is causing this?

Could someone using this board check for temperate readings, I have some high temps on few spots.

Tried hwmonitor?

Hello Phoenix team,

Any update? I seem version 3.0C have some problem, a lot of PP rollback 2.9e

Looks like 3.0c have a lot of problem, I can't get it working for more than two days. 2.9e works perfect for me 🙄

Running 1 month on all rigs. No problem
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: how much killowatt needs to run a mining rig? on: July 10, 2018, 07:05:53 PM

how much kilowatt does my set up needs to run this mining rig?

i'm sure this will need a lot so i have to compute how much will it consume and is it worth the time. i'm just going to altcoins though. the set up would be just 2 computer with about 4 GPU on each. i wouldn't consider the aircondition for now just the 2 computer and 4 GPU each.

With 13 amd 570 the whole rigs draws 1500w. (220v)
