S19 PRO 110 TH/S is now for delivery for August. still @ $2633 per unit.

S19 95 TH/S as well, priced at $1964.

This is either a tactic to sell the S17 or they are really selling well their stock.

Knowing Bitmain for only a few years ( overall positive experience ) but also from reading from here, I personally believe this is just a tactic to sell the old gear.

If you want to buy NOW and wait till August be aware Bitmain will have sales until then ( Flash sales ) and others will order and get exact gear as yours earlier ( this mostly from personal experience.

Check the website more often as things always change. My 2 cents that no one asked for Grin

EDIT:

https://shop.bitmain.com/product/detail?pid=000202005141802135128Tsh82210619 - S19 PRO back on stock

Hashrate: 110TH/s

Shipping date: 1-31, Aug. 2020

$2493.00

also, anyone has one? was curious how the fans act on it, both the unit and the psu
24  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Introduces the S17+ and T17+ on: May 08, 2020, 06:34:26 AM
S17+ with 1-30 June delivery are now sold out.

Only T17+ left for 6-15 May @ $943 still ...

Is it just me or Bitmain is pushing the S17e at 60th for 896 for June deliveries? Why I believe this is the case is because all S19's are now for August deliveries. They are cleaning the old stock.

S17+ settings Menu

Go to Miner Configuration page.

Right Click and select Inspect Element.

Search for Fan_Ctrl.

Follow the image below.

These should bring you to the CODE below.

In order to access the settings simply delete all the ":none".

To show the menu go to LEGEND in order to show the menu itself.

Once saved, miner should restart automatically.

Also, the miner will reset the display to none again and in order to access them again you will have to redo all from Start.

What is your site?

Freely available implies free to get, but does it have any fees included?

also, any proof?

can you add some photos of it running?

The interesting/weird thing with the import charges, which I paid online as soon as I had the message, was that UPS decided to hand-deliver it without even placing it in an envelope ......  Huh Huh Huh

But, finally had the delivery today. UPS apologised as it was not up to them regarding the delay but nothing about the invoice. That was nice though.

So far, major delays were just in China, everything else was a smooth ride with hold-ups not longer than 24 hours in any of the 2 places it went through ( Incheon, Korea; and Koeln, Germany)

The miner box looks ok, guess will leave it in the garage for 3 days, just to be extra sure.

Edit:

Does anyone know the CFM or any measure of airflow required by the S17+? Thank you.
28  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Introduces the S17+ and T17+ on: April 27, 2020, 07:44:37 PM
I believe at the moment the delays are just COVID related as Bitmain have sent the parcel out of their warehouse, as per the below:
Due consider my order was placed on the 21st and on the 22nd they had it labelled and ready to go out.

Now UPS has announced there are no guarantees on delivery dates quoting pandemic and have changed my delivery date once to 'No information available' and stayed like that for 5 days.

Today they have updated it as this Wednesday. Fingers crossed now.

Do you have a photo of the label on the Vents?

Would love to find their specs online (cfm, rpm, etc) especially CFM.

@taserz I understand the below has been answered, BUT I would like that answer to come from you. It has something to do with accountability if know what I mean.

I am only interested in the S17+ model for the below.

Do you want to answer these questions Huh

[Q1]is the s17+ 105TH speed for immersion, or normal air cooling operating medium?
I need to make sure I am making a profit, after the increase in speed and dev fee calculation, hence asking.

Also, [Q2]what is the wattage increase at the OC speed? and,

[Q3]will the PSU need extra cooling
, will it be ok in the long term?

what about the dev fee, as halving is soon. [Q4] will it be lowered?

I hope you will not avoid answering these questions, again...

Do you have a step by step guide for a first-timer who is loading different firmware on miner? (i might have missed it on the website)

Edit2. 'S17+, T17+, S17, and T17 SD Card Image to Downgrade'/Unlock SD images.zip will not finish downloading, keep having my connection reset. do you have another link for it, please?

The new link worked. thank you.

About my other 4 questions in bold above, do you have an answer, please?

i wonder how many were sold, as this will lead to a diff increase, plus the people who switched from BCH BSV, which probably will switch back after BTC halves (or i hope)

based on the price it is starting to look like s17+ is a better option, that and the fact that i missed the selling  Grin.
37  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Inside APW9 (T17 / S17) on: April 01, 2020, 08:42:40 PM
silly thought... can the PSU be left open, and the fans took out?

to avoid overheating I am thinking of placing some 3 or 4 140mm arctic (pc) fans, way silent (2000rpm) to blow on the PSU?

My question: Would the PSU start if no fans are present? ie fail-safe to avoid overheating? If yes, can the PSU power the other fans and 'tricked' into believing they run at the 'safe/recommended' speed of its original fans?

I would not go through all the trouble, but this high pitch sound is a bit annoying Smiley
38  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Canaan A1066 Pro Review. (soon ) on: March 20, 2020, 06:56:24 AM
55th

3300 watts

$1100

based on the above it is $196 more expensive than a T17+ at the same speed, and 500W more(ish) (realistically only 300).

I understand it is good to have competitors as it will advantage us as buyers with better prices, but same speed for more money and watts, why?

are they long-lasting?
39  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Inside APW9 (T17 / S17) on: March 20, 2020, 06:47:44 AM
If you manage and have the time, post a decibel reading from the PSU fans before and after. I am not sure from the picture, but can you start just the PSU for the test?

Will keep watching as so far that sound is driving me crazy  Grin

Thanks
40  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Introduces the S19 and S19 Pro on: March 17, 2020, 08:18:54 PM
Actually, I think it is worth buying it as soon as it comes out. Bitmain will be forced to lower the prices due to current recession and they will probably pump up those prices if BTC spikes again. However, waiting for S21(presumably) is another good option.

Personally, I would buy at least 2 S19s but I am unable since Bitcoin tanked and I have to save cash as we are currently in quarantine in our country.

Regarding the above, if they do like Innosilicon (the Inno A10 went from $2600 to $2800 and now $3000), they might just put the price slightly up due to partial people at work (or any other excuse). At least for anything new being manufactured and not the ones already made.

Also, https://www.tomshardware.com/uk/news/tsmc-5nm-chip-production-process-technology , the 5nm chip production line has been fully booked  Roll Eyes; guess S21 will come at a high price to encourage the previous stock to be purchased?
