That's impressive.. Seems we're in the third spot of most network hashrate: https://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency?sort=hashrate&dir=descBasically, if there is not much crown offered to others, im guessing the price can go up really fast since most of it is not being sold. Supply/demand kind of story.

Something like that, yes. Incentivising people to 'lock' CRW in Trons creates scarcity on the market. This will intensify once Service Nodes are released in the coming weeks/months, allowing people to 'lock' CRW in much smaller amounts. and yes -- the papers are vague and dated at this point. but the ideas and principles are genuine and haven't changed -- and the points in the knowledge are all still relevant.

Thank you, great update as always. Things are looking more and more promising, keep up the fantastic work! On another note, the community is still growing at a decent pace (nearly 400 people in Mattermost) which is a good thing. However, currently ~99% of the interactions and discussions between community/core members happen via Mattermost. While it's great to see a platform like Mattermost being very actively used by everyone involved, it's definitely not good for Crown's exposure here on Bitcointalk. Bitcointalk activityThe past few weeks I received several messages - via Bitcointalk and crypto-groups in Slack - of people asking if " Crown was still a thing" as there's " barely any activity" in the ANN topic. So far I always pointed them to Mattermost, but it appears the low activity on Bitcointalk is a turn off to newcomers. Here's a direct quote of one of the people I spoke to: " low activity on bitcointalk portrays theres not much happening or people dont care". While I don't necessarily agree, as there are more factors that come into play (Mattermost activity, social media activity, market activity, etc.), it seemingly gives the wrong impression to people. Even though there's work being done on marketing, I suppose this problem is something we (the community) could easily fix ourselves. Perhaps, sharing more of the work that's done by the community would be a good start in creating a livelier ANN topic. Allow me to kick off with a project I've been working on myself. CrownCentral 2.0Most of you probably never expected a new version of https://stats.crowncentral.net/ and https://monitor.crowncentral.net/ to come anytime soon due to my continuous inactivity, for which I apologize. Availability and time have been a forbidden luxury for a long time, but yes, this time it's really happening..  Nope, we'll not give an ETA on when CrownCentral 2.0 will be launched. However, we're in the final stages of development and things are looking good. The new CrownCentral will feature a complete graphical revamp, a unification of both the stats and monitor pages, a page showing active/passed proposals and an option to make voting a bit more user-friendly. Once that's released, we'll be looking into the implementation of automated voting on proposals via your CrownCentral account. That's all for now. Peace! |

The new Tron monitor site is awesome work by the dev team, I didn't see a way to track payment progress though like DashCentral can for Dash masternodes. Feature request for the next release maybe? Also, can someone shed light on what might cause the "missing" tron status? Currently I just manually click "start missing" in the Crown Wallet. I'm looking for a more proactive way to deal w/ it. Crowncentral.net is a community-driven project, are you asking for a roadmap on this, or did you mean the Crown project in general? Recently, an update has been posted by the team as well, might answer your question. ... Additionally, one of our community members has launched his complex Throne monitoring app at www.crowncentral.net where you can check your Throne ROI as well as. ... I have a small suggestion. In the dashboard, When you enter More than 10 Trone, the table does not display all thrones, there is only a summary.
That's correct, it will show something like "All Trons are fine" if all Trons are active. However, as soon as there's a Tron that has issues, it will directly be shown in the summary as inactive. If you want a full list of your Trons, click the "User Trons" on the left panel. Does that make sense? Thanks for your feedback! Nicely done! This is shaping up to be a nice tool.

Which country are you in? There is no reason for a full sync to take forever...maybe we can deploy a node to speed things up. I believe Windows still has some issues with syncing. On behalf of a friend I'm posting this: I can confirm it takes a lot of time and data on Windows x64 (SSD drive). With a 100mbit corporate fiber connection (Netherlands) it nearly downloaded 15-16GB of data and took ~6 hours to do so, while the data folder ended up being only 3,1GB? What happened to the 12-13GB of data that was downloaded? To me it doesn't matter as we don't have bandwidth limitations, but that doesn't go for everyone. Ofcourse, everyone can use Bootstrap but not everyone knows how to. This seems to be a serious bug in the wallet and needs to be addressed, just my 2 cents. Thank you. -B.

we ( cwi ) are looking at building a VERY stable pool system - so this testing is imperative for it ... the pool is not 'broken' - but there may be settings that are required to tweak with regards to the stratum ... there are MANY variables here in the backend - and as we are just beginning our journey here with the cwi-poolsystem - we are very appreciative of this feedback ...
