7) Darkcoin v0.10.15.21, bloom filters ( -90% outbound traffic), load reduction of ~70%: Darkcoin - v0.10.15.21If you are running a masternode on a VPS, I highly suggest you update to 15.21. This update reduces outbound traffic by 90%+ (which is what amazon charges for) by implementing bloom filters. Also load has been drastically reduced by about 70%. https://darkcointalk.org/threads/v10-15-onyx-release.2683/PS. I know I'm a day late, but the MN monitoring and text message software "$MN$" will be available tomorrow. It is wayy more general and error resistant than my first inclination for release. The code is hard right now, I'm just touching up the tutorial and visual stuff. Again, I know the pros are already pulling this stuff off, but it can't hurt to provide a program for anyone who wants to receive a text message for every MN payment without sinking a bunch of time into code. Can confirm it supports unlimited MNs, and is purring along like a dream. Tomorrow I'll make a *.zip available as well as the source code, hope someone can make use of it. Personally, I set the sound my phone makes when receiving notify from the program to the "Back to the future" sound when the timeline changes... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gt_8Heme49wAlright, way to go. Thanks for the update! Are you using a Darkcoin API, JSON generated output, or?

Guys, you need to carefully reread Evan's chat log where he first mentioned the instant transaction system. I'm almost certain it doesn't involve masternodes, for several reasons:
1) He says that it won't require Bitcoin to hard fork. How could you implement MNs into the protocol, plus instant transactions, without a hard fork? 2) He clearly says that he has found a way to make Bitcoin transactions instant...he then mentions that it is fully compatible with DarkSend and so will work with Darkcoin. But it's clear from his wording that the system is designed and intended for Bitcoin, first and foremost.
https://darkcointalk.org/threads/possible-darkcoin-press-release-rc5-open-source-instant-transactions-kristov-code-review.2399/#post-21184From the horse's mouth: "Evan Duffield, lead developer of Darkcoin, intends to release a white paper on September 19 detailing a new technology called 'Instant Transactions'. This technology will allow for crypto-currencies such as Darkcoin to compete with nearly instantaneous transaction systems such as credit cards for point-of-sale situations while not relying on a centralized authority. If successful, such an idea could revolutionize cryptocurrency, by shortening the delay in confirmation of transactions from as long as an hour (with Bitcoin) to as little as twenty seconds"
Edit: It's not for Bitcoin I like where this is going... no wait... I LOVE where this is going!

DARKCOIN!!!!! Funny how this works out that I am now going long, yet again, on Darkcoin after having recent successful and unsuccessful trades back and forth in it. This one, though, looks good. Real good. First off, there is a rather ugly inverse head and shoulders pattern here and while it has technically been broken already to the upside on MintPal, I believe what is happening is a whale is trying his best to accumulate without getting an ugly 30%+ fill price. There are few coins available on the ask without popping price. This is my own speculation but I believe it's an insider, connected with Evan or Kristov how is doing this accumulating here. Second, this is the most basic of basic of chart-reading, there is a double-bottom that happened yesterday across all three major exchanges (MP, Craptsy, Bitfinex) and now we have actual buying pressure which is also corresponding with what could be really favorable reviews by Kristov Atlas perhaps. So as you can see, the initial target is .006 with a stop below a break of the double-bottom across all three exchanges. Trust me, I would like nothing better than to stay away from any more Darkcoin trades, but my gut is telling me this is the final end of the Darkcoin downtrend from May. Technically, I would need to see a break above the falling trendline at .008 for confirmation though. JL DRK continues to look and act fantastically. Would buy more if I could (don't try this at home). Initial target is still .006; there might be some volatile pullbacks upcoming to take advantage of so expect most trade rec's from me to be in Darkcoin over the next couple weeks. ... An old wise owl of the investment world once told me the goal of investing is not to end up with as much money as possible but rather to end up with as many shares as possible. Having said that, my goal is to gather as many Darkcoins as possible with each trade. JL Now that's some thorough analysis, lovely!

It's sad to see so much stupidity in action... The human race embarrasses me.
To see stupidity in it's most extreme lays bare it's nature as the festering spring of rot from which violence is born...
There is no stupidity. DRK is one of the last cryptomarkets where you can find a buyer. So the last rats leave crypto generally. Crypto seems to be dead. Greed and scams all day long have destroyed it. There is a decling market over months now. Ltc was gone from 30€ to 4€. Where do you think should new money come from. All idiots have already been scammed and lost their money. +1 I'm afraid you're right..

0,004??? WTF!!! darkcoin is dead now if you say that the price does not matter you are idiot Darkcoin is so much more than just the price..

qwizzie bro i know that but understand that there is guys here that dont understand that... example MY BROTHER was like what? fee? isnt that automaticly ?
you see... we must deal with this normal way... so we need to put this somewhere for anyone to see
You are right about this. I would say right now the tech works for 95% of users, but the ease of use and ease of understand is still poor. I assume this is the next step for the team. This is a huge and mandatory step for Darkcoin, new and non-technical users will - at this point - most likely have no clue what's happening and why it's happening. I believe DRKLord was taking care of the wallet and the GUI, anyone knows what the progress is and when this will get implemented in a new milestone, RC5 perhaps? Anyways.. While Darkcoin is still being heavilly developed, it's probably a matter of time before the wallet gets a major overhaul making both visuals and usability top notch! Big KUDOS to Evan and his team, keep it up!

Elito, can you truncate that link? Even though it's pretty obvious that it leads to a scam, we wouldn't want anyone to inadvertently click it.
Yes please, I nearly clicked that link without reading the rest lol.

thanks for testing, i don't know the answer to your question but someone will.
We need lots more people online with D+ wallets, thats the only thing! We only need D+ liquidity on mainnet for the tx to match and start doing rounds. In testnet we did heaps loads of D* ping-pong'ing without incidents. And with ricdiculous amounts of tDRKS. Mainet is a different bag of cats, like pseudo-ex-converted-trolls trying a bit more sophisticates toruble making. This is a SOLID release! Just needs adoption. Already contributing mixing some of mine, result soon to come. I put up 36 DRKs on 4 round. Better than 1500DRK doing 1 round. right now. How many of you have wallets denoming out there? +1 really well said!

If any of you haven't looked in a while, there is so much amazing work going on by so many people, and you can get a glimps by peeking at the threads here: https://darkcointalk.org/forums/official-developer-thread.15/And the testing threads. Ideas pop up, and I'm not even checking IRC, which I suspect is equally exciting. Look at the work being done on the wallet GUI, someone just came in asking about usability for himself, because he is blind! Wow, nobody thought about this! He wants to run a masternode! So immediately DRKLord is thinking of a temp solution. It's just amazing the talent out there and their willingness to put their time into this. Just makes me feel so good about Darkcoin and it's future. Yaaay, for all you young smartiepants That. Couldn't have said it any better, KUDOS for this brightening post.
