21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: February 12, 2018, 10:06:27 PM
We have started a reward for Information Leading To Arrest And/Or Conviction Of CoinsMarkets thieves.

This is a community effort and you can support this cause by increasing the reward. Donate eth to this address: 0x3705E3356b587217FA0776990E421aBf55e9455F

We are asking for donations of 0.005 eth but you're welcome to donate any amount towards the reward. If the reward gets high enough we think someone will give up their identity.

You can view the total community reward being offered here https://etherscan.io/address/0x3705E3356b587217FA0776990E421aBf55e9455F

If we gain access to our coins all money not used for reward will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. If this happens we'll make sure the community can verify all money was sent to St. Jude's. https://www.stjude.org/about-st-jude/why-support-st-jude.html

You can also help us track coinsmarkets by adding something about this crime in your signature.

If you would like to claim this reward reveal their identity in this thread and post your eth address. If it leads to the Arrest And/Or Conviction Of CoinsMarkets thieves you will receive the reward... Please note a small amount of the reward will be used for hiring a lawyer to help with prosecution. This process will be completely transparent to the community.

CoinsMarkets thugs we will track you down!

Any support for this effort?Huh
Someone knows these people we just need the right approach to reveal the truth.
If you re willing to donate, I would suggest to wait for this guy to setup a crowdfunding website

for everybody read this please! yes in the beginning of this i did my homework already about coinsmarkets! some people told me to backoff some did not. so i did choose to backoff and give them a chance!.
Seems now that i was on the right track, so i will start everything up again!, oh by the way yes i was the guy that did go to the surinamestraat, yes i did made first contact with the host & gandhi.

i was also in the first stage off this with some people that i know of the dutch authorities ( it can speed things up if you know the right people! )

As in my last post on bitcointalk i want to make this clear again, please let the people that want to take some action 2 coinsmarkets do their thing. if you believe, it's your choice i'll respect that.

For now i want to make this clear!

Everybody wants their coins/money back, even if we can't get the coins back, the people behind coinsmarkets deserve to be in court. what im thinking that the coins are lost! deal with it but we all together need to agree that we don't let them get away with this.

First stage
I did register a domain coinsmarkets-exit.nl, i will setup a simple wordpress website on it so people can sign up for legal actions & also they make clear how much they lost.
Also everybody needs to left their contact information behind for me so when i go to the CIE ( criminele inlichtingen eenheid ) i can present all the information.

For the no dutch, criminele inlichtingen eenheid, is like the FBI/CIA.

second stage

i'll setup a official fundraiser to get us a special dutch lawyer, i have some big office in mind on the zuidas, amsterdam with some people that how to deal with this. Yes it will cost us money, for example one of those lawyers does have a hour rate of +/- 200 euro's per hour.
It's alot of money i know but i think we al agree that we don't be penny wise pound foolish.

third stage

I will setup the lawyers(s) with the contact's i have made already. and also in this stage i want to setup a private info channel so the CIE (dutch authority ) can maybe use this.

where i need help..

i need a 1 or 2 dutch people that's want to work with me on this, if something happens the other person can take over! i need a USA guy that is free to response if it's needed!

Also if somebody have some time over, work with me on the wordpress site,  i think we need a custom plugin so people can give the information about the coins they lost.

Don't know if the site is up how my hosting will do cause i have a small plan for this.  We need to fund this too or find somebody that can provide us a bigger hosting ( don't wanna be like coinsmarkets)

NOTE: i did read much about telegram/facebook groups and more, IF we cannot make it happen that we work as a team together this does not have any chance! and even if it does it takes to much time! and once again i have the contacts with people that are maybe gonna pick this up faster. This ain't USA police, not enough people, not enough IT people with dutch government, the only chance we have is the CIE working with the FIOD.

Oh and at last, yes i did lost coins to, but my ex girlfriend did stole my laptop with my business email so even i when coinsmarkets comes back online i have no chance to get my mail changed. Ain't doing this to get better of it, i will setup

Report usr64 to moderator.
Lets clean this thread out of trash.
Why? Very useful information about possible owner.
Here we go again, another one.
What useful information? That he types with spaces between commas?

At least there is one for whom another one can look out.
Witch hunt on random people with no evidence what-so-ever should be punished and not supported

That's his "crypto get rich scheme": https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/7e1w69/dutch_rapper_scamming_people_with_dumb_crypto/
Its not coinsmarkets.
He promotes his website  cryptosucces.nl and offers that get rich scheme 40$
Fucking detectives

As i have said it's all circumstantial evidence, that is where it all starts, so Fuck You Arsehole!

Well, this thread has turned into a shitshow and pointless witch hunting of random people without any evidence by clueless retards like you.
Wish there was some sort of moderation, but theres none, unfortunately.

It is not a witchhunt, you know no shit about forensic analysis and detective work, it all starts with circumstantial evidence. The guy "Boef" has a motive and a "dodgy past", he uses the same writing style as the owner of CM, uses the Algerian font-family on CM, "Boef" himself is an Algerian.

What is your added value? What have you provided? Name calling?

We should use crowdsourcing as a means of investigation.
I've provided my version of cm situation(you can look it up),with actual evidence and valuable points instead of your pointless trash like "he types with spaces between commas, AND HE IS ALSO DUTCH - MUST BE CM OWNER XD"
There is nothing "dodgy" about his past. He provides 40 euro shitty courses to get rich quick(which is obviously bullshit), but thats just a part of marketing to get people interested, nothing else. He has an official website with official hosting, unlike coinsmarkets.
So shut the fuck up and stop witch hunting random people without showing any evidence, idiot.

I looked you up, you have not provided any evidence, why are you defending "Boef", are you a Muslim too? Are you embarrassed Muslims thugs steal?

Nice "strawman".. Those accusations are sketchy as hell. You're no better than CM.

Nothing sketchy about that!

The guy "Boef" is an ex-criminal, certainly it makes sense to have him checked out (i think he would be proud of it considering his stage name "thief"), i am not saying he is behind CM, but everybody can buy a website like CM.  No, it is not racist, to point out somebodies background (North-African thugs, dutch thugs, English thugs).

It is indeed very sketchy to accuse someone of running a million dollar scam with the only proof being that they use commas incorrectly and are Algerian. Besides that, what does their religion have to do with any of this? That is not a "pc correct" question, I just don't get what it has to do with Coinsmarkets?
He is a delusional dumb fuck, no reason to argue.

This is a Snap from him made in the past:
http://www.dumpert.nl/mediabase/6797881/9cb185d3/boef_reageert.html

Here you can see he is promoting Cryptocurrency’s(make his own one) and promesing everyone to make them rich:

Link 2

I already knew this a long time, but i didnt want to share this info because i kept the hope CM would recover.
I don’t want the spotslights if my info is true, i just want everyone to get their coins back.
Im sharing this info, in behave from all of us.

Just remember my name

And keep me in mind, when we recover our coins.
Together we stay strong!

Ill be back  Wink

Boef, real name Sofiane Youssef Samir Boussaadia, is a dutch celebrity with Algerian roots.

He too is using spaces around his comma's as does Coinsmarkets.com.

Coinsmarkets.com is making use of the Algerian font-family
see source:

"    <style>
      @font-face { font-family: algerian; src: url('algerian.TTF'); }
      div.FontMarket {
         font-family: algerian ;
         display: block;
         }
    </style> "

Boef is an Algerian, Coinsmarkets.com makes use of Algerian font-family.
Boef uses spaces around his comma's, so does Coinsmarkets.com
Boef promoted a get rich quick scheme...

Coincidence??

Boef spent his child youth in France, before migrating to Holland, he has the French nationality.

French people use spaces before punctuation marks, so does Boef. (French punctuation).

How does a guy with 16 post know so much about a guy from the other side of the world?

Getting nervous?
Because he has a fucking wikipedia and is famous?
Are you this fucking retarded to think that there is a single person on this planet who types with spaces between commas.
Thats literally your only argument.
Holy shit this thread is turning into a shitshow.

He is a rapper named crook, and yes he was promoting a crypto get rich scheme online in dutch (which he didn't disclose). So if you don't understand dutch than be quiet. See also the links above if you understand dutch!
So, he is dutch and involved in cryptocurency.Must be cm owner, right?
I dont see any cooperation between coinsmarkets and this guy, besides you telling me that he types with spaces between commas
He has his own website, which he shills to his followers, and its not fucking coinsmarkets

Those were their hostings before they changed them.

Both are registered under the fake information.
Theres a post about visiting cm address : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2645053.msg28456128#msg28456128
Also, if you go to google maps, and write their postal codes(2585 Gj and 4624 EJ), you will find out that they 're located in 92km away from each other(1 hour car ride).

Now, their twitters:
@ElectracoinECA - electra, registered 8 oct 2017
@CoinsMarketsEXC - cm, registered 4 oct 2017
Their first tweet about exchanges
https://twitter.com/ElectracoinECA/status/921794954644656134
One of the first exchanges electra got added to was coinsmarkets and by far had the highest trading volume there.
Also, there was an obvious keylogger in electra wallet - https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/a0b622aca6103b0662984820a1b8943c260eaba23cc5513dc760be445f962aa0/detection
Every question to electra about that would get you blocked on their twitter with  no answers.

Conclusion:
There is a very big chance of cm and electra working together on exit-scam and it's a matter of time when they do it.

Just some dutch guy who uses space between commas.
Need more evidence, we can't just start investigating everyone based on almost nothing, but I like the attempt.

Your only contribution to this thread so far was a bunch of empty threats, unbased accusations and namecalling. Tell me, where did I lie or state anything but facts?
If you are so inclined to bash your head against a wall, go ahead. Hire lawyers, report CM to police/FBI/whale preservation society. Go ahead, I personally don't care. I tried to reason with you and explain why it won't help, but you are just deaf to any arguments or facts.

I love your logic (or lack of it). "Someone disagrees with me on forums, he must be working for CM!". Just laughable.
You have no arguments. I just exposed you for being a lying piece of shit, thats it. End of discussion.

Would be interesting to try that BS logic in US courts....I guess you don't know about a little crime called "fraud" that covers a lot of crap that hasn't even been invented yet...

Your US courts did absolutely nothing in bigger cases where real money was involved (Mt. Gox, Wex, Cryptsy). As they will do absolutely nothing with Bitconnect scam. I know what a fraud is, and I am telling you that it would be hard to prove harm or even deception in this case as no money or actual valuables were involved and noone really knows what actually has happened. The facts are that at least majority of coins are still in the CM wallets and the website is not functioning correctly. The rest are pure speculations.
Mt. Gox - thieves were caught and jailed. 200k bitcoins were restored
Cryptsy CEO hiding scared somewhere in china from 8.2mln in lawsuits.
dont know much about wex
You re so desperatly trying to defend CM that im starting to think that you re someone from their team.
If thats the case, just letting you know that you should be scared and go fly to the other side of the globe and hide like that cryptsy ceo.

Mt. Gox - who went to jail, lol? Mark Karpeles is still free. He was briefly arrested by japanese police and then released on bail. US trials ended up in nothing. The case is still ongoing in japanese courts, but it looks not very promising for those who seek refunds. 200k BTC were NOT restored and are still somewhere hidden (probably in Mark's cold storage, lol).
Cryptsy CEO stole $30M worth of coins and fiat. US court made him pay only $8M in compensations (basically, only fiat money he stole). Which he didn't even pay. He is still free and well.

Im not trying to defend CM, lol. Im just saying that taking them to the courts would do absolutely nothing. They won't go to jail, we won't recieve any compensations. If you want to bash your head against a wall - go ahead, but we just have to face reality: legal system can't protect us victims of the crypto scams, hell, it can't even punish fraudsters and thieves accordingly.

P.S. Actually, the only productive thing we can do is to write to politicians in your country asking them to propose laws that would cover our asses as investors and regulate crypto market.

There is always a first so why now CM? They can make history, they can be the poster child - WHY STEALING FROM USERS IS BAD.

Just because others have done it doesn't make it right. I say things change starting with them...

I bet a judge would disagree why you think they're hiding from us? It reminds me of that ole saying you can fuck some of the people some of the time but you can't fuck all the people all the time. It happens to much in the crypto world and they should be made an example. Theft is theft and we will get our justice. You CM thugs are going down...

Ask yourself:
How many crypto fraudsters has been brought to court until now? How many of has been actually sentenced guilty of fraud?
They could be first and famous crypto fraudsters.

On what laws? We don't have laws or regulations for altcoin exchanges. Did you ever wonder why any attempts of demanding refund in Mt. Gox case have been processed only in japanese courts? And still noone was refunded. EU, US just don't have laws to put crypto fraudsters behind the bars. No laws - no legal action. In case of CM it's even worse, as they technically didn't steal our crypto.

An that's why they should be made the poster child. There is always a first why not the crypto thugs at CM?

Until there are laws that regulate crypto exchanges, nothing can be done. No legal base = no legal action. It is simple as that. In case of CM we are fucked no matter what. Even if dutch government next week passes the law that regulates crypto exchanges, that law won't apply retrospectively (it means it won't apply to past cases).
Its not about CRYPTO fraud.
Its about fraud in general. Cryptos are worth money.
Also, look up the definiton of a fraud.
Basically you re saying that nobody should do anything about any fraud, theft in crypto market.
Nice logic, dude. Are you one of cm owners by any chance?

To every fucktard who is still defending cm
CM knows that by blaming their customers for delaying the proccess there will be DELUSIONAL DUMB FUCKS who will believe in it and start defending CM.
Name me one exchange which held millions worth of coins for 5 weeks and got away with it.
Literally like 4 days ago binance had their whole database corrupted which size is uncomparable with piece of shit exchange like coinsmarkets.
They fixed it in 1 day.
there is no way you can't fix a website for 5+ weeks unless you re mentally disabled or a thief.
So shut the fuck up and stop hoping that they will return your money.

Look, I have no coins on CM so I don't really care. What's the point of keeping up the charade if they are just going to steal the coins? I would've just exit-scammed and 404.
I have a small amounth there, so its not about money for me. I just dont want cm owners to simly get away with it.
As for your question, one of the possibilities is that they re delaying the time to cover the traces, and have an easier time of getting away, when they exit scam. But you know, maybe they experienced some sort of brain damage a month ago and forgot how to deal with a website or something.
