Gritts tour of China is certainly a big deal in the land of crypto and certainly not to be underestimated. I can't think of that many coins that make the bold steps BlackCoin does, that delivers innovations and new ideas and at our core a plan for adoption that based in reality and growing success. There will be a lot of eyes from the West looking East and our success there will be noted here of that you can be certain. Also tell us. If a merchant or service provider, who most probably buys the goods or the work for the development and maintenance of the services they sell in FIAT, decides to accept BC as payment, then it could happen that they would sell X products for N blackcoins at one time, but sell almost twice as many products for the same amount of blackcoins 30 hours later. Do you think there are any hoteliers and restauranteurs who would really consider accepting a coin like this?
More merchants and service providers in 2014 who accept BTC than in 2013. We're faster and greener than BTC. I still think those 2 factors are part of a winning formula. |

Agreed, but August/September hasn't been kind to crypto holdings for two years now... and last year was before the alt-coin 'goldrush' so I expect this year to be worse. I'm not even paying attention to the price until mid-October... that's usually when things start picking up after the summer slump.
I should probably take the same advice, but it's so addicting. |

Wow! Fantastic news about the BC markets on Bittrex!
PS: It has nothing to do with BC, but the only WTF so far (and I mean a big fat WTF) is about that super legit coin that has been added to that market together with the other coins. I admit it makes me a bit skeptical and cautious.

Apparently they will add more pairs the more volume blackcoin gets, so lets show them some love Just gave them a hint that they should add more POW-coin pairs, since they have an API and BC-multipools could change directly into BC, without having to pay BTC-exchange fees. Very good idea  That is a good point. So definitely Bittrex PoW coins like Viacoin and Syscoin. |

It takes a bit. As stupidity seems to be bottomless people do of course wait if some other holder goes panic mode and throws coins away, too. 8k double bottom now with the other dip to that level, wonder if that's it. But i guess you cannot rule out anything anymore these days.... After all i know that in near future i will be able to use my BC so i can keep those coins and later use them not like with 99% cases of other alts ;/ so so holding BC to me is bit diffrent than holding any other altcoin ( and those i have a lot ). Today market is in mess and it can be in mess for long time last year LTC was crashing hard for long time half year... From all altcoins today good investments for me are: 1 - Blackcoin ( ATMs, Credit card, halo (bu/sell - hire people realty innovative technology works on global scale) ) 2 - Bitcoin ( most adopted crypto safe bet even in long run as e-gold foor FUTURE generations ) 3 - NXT java easy programing so many features ( but personally i have NEM NODE stake so i can skip NXT those POS have better distribution ) 4 - XMR > DRK anon tech ( POS anon is not worth to much attencion to me - ules zeroknowleage system willbe released ) 5 - interesting concept but BIG "?" because i don't like IPO coins to much is Bithares ************ today 10/100 coin is green so don't worry to much that guy with 600k dump did his job and noone have follow his dump so he wasted money to cause panic sell off like it was with Cloack DRK Via... looking at market and HOW FAST that 600k BC was acumullated i am IMPRESS ! Distribution is increasing and this is good too. BTC is a very scary investment to me and might be giving people false security. Sure it's the most stable now and good to diversify, but its technology is getting older and maintenance costs are skyrocketing. I feel like altcoins and fiat may be a better fit. Also the cost of accepting another altcoin after BTC is significantly dropping. NXT - That hacker gave bter a sweet deal to get out of trouble. Really strange situation. DRK - Looks like it's in big trouble and doesn't look like it will recover. What's #5? Never heard of it. And to be honest only last moron won't see where is BC aiming and that it will be one of few crypto widely used or have chance to be used over time.
That 600k dump - for me is ok someone REALY needs money sometimes you need money for real life needs so he sold unlucky he sold ithem REALY cheap today when all
markets are in panic.
Might not be someone really needs money. Could very well be gambling on another altcoin that he needed to buy right away. Could even be putting it back into BTC. |

This is going to be a bad weekend.
First i find the thread on the second page in my watchlist , then i check the volume on mintpal...and I'm gonna need a coffee.
Community seems busy with Bter and NXT and the Bitcoin price reflects that too. Well, the BTC price was basically made by 2 or 3 (first two belonged together, i guess) giant dumps of 5-9k BTC. It will take some time until it goes up again since a lot of those who had low orders filled will sell off during a recovery. Remember that it went diown to 450 USD in a single shot, as all the alts a "long-time-low" after almost breaking 700 USD. NXT: I did not follow this shit, did they rollback anything or manipulate the Blockchain in any way? NXT aside BTER looks surprisingly like business as usual. Rgearding BC/all alts: Not much movement due to BTC and NXT, where there is volume people are dumping like mad. Both DRK and CLOAK will soon be back to their pre-pump levels, we already went through that shit. It's hard to believe that is it actually happening, but that's how it is, even DRK will likely go back to as low as 0.0014 as it was before it took off. It's too bad that all the alts are so close and dependent on bitcoin price. A serious crash would send the alt scene in the freezer like last May. As for nxt they didn't rollback , bter is supposed to take the loss and then get it back from the "hacker". And about the drk , glad I sold as soon as i made 3x of my investment. It looks like it will be a bad weekend, but we're still hanging in there. Maybe Cryptolina might change some things. We'll see. I think an altcoin has to at least hit the LTC range before it's not so dependent on BC. |

If they decide to police the blockchain or freeze the transaction... there goes nxt also . bye bye What is funny they had decentralized exchange and 5m / 1000m is hmm 5% of all in one place... Some remider BC n crypto rush lost 3m BC / 75m so similar ~4% of all and no roll back... That was "save my bag" operation ! PS: Before i wanted buy dumped NXT at 100-500 sat but with rollback i won't touch that coin. Is their exchange actually decentralized? From reading about it, it doesn't sound like it is. PM me of it's too off-topic. This is why I tweeted 15.85% of all BC is held in cold storage of 3 exchanges right now. Get it off! Not even counting their hot wallets. |
