The fact that other more respected exchanges haven't added BC based markets means one thing: BC was not good enough. And I couldn't agree more. It's still not good enough to become a market. Development and project management lack full transparency. Sudden announcements surprise the markets. There are artificial pumps. Those who knew the ETA and had collected cheap coins during the periods of silence exploit the surprised investors who buy with emotion and sell overvalued coins to them. And the cycle goes on. The graph shows it all.
What are you talking about? "Other more respected exchanges" also haven't added DRK either. It's not always about whether a coin is good enough. There's other reasons. |

Thanks for the info, I'll be keeping an eye on this coin in the long term. This crypto world is crazy. The features, and implementations for this coin is off the charts. The closest thing ive probably seen to date with the potential to compete with bitcoin. I mean the information is already out there, ive been researching blackcoin all day. Yet coins that just came out last week with only "promises" are trading three times the price.  My guess is you're just hearing about us now. Or did you hear about us before but didn't have time to look into it? |

Making an announcement to assure everybody that the price collapsing does not reflect any problems is neither hard work nor any form of dark art. It's 10 min of time. You make it sound such a big deal. Now it's fucking too late.
No it is not. Unless all the world has such a stunning lack of comprehension of crypto in particular and markets in general as you do. It is. The price has collapsed. At 15-16k it was pretty obvious that bots were hard at work exploiting the silence. An announcement should have been published around that time. That's my opinion. The bots were going to dump regardless. If anything had happened, you would have just given those bots a better price. Bot has been gone the last 4 hours. I don't see any ridiculous tiny rapid buy orders. Not sure if that's coincidental with slight uptrend. |

Hi all, long time supporter. IMO we need someone " like" (can't believe I'm saying this) IE or Wiz. Simply because they rally the troops and bring excitement to the community. A mouth piece if you will Price is sliding not because of innovation, obviously we have a ton of it but because of no "front man" or "cheerleader" to lead the masses, we are a rudderless...yacht. I'm not trying to slam the people in-charge, there doing a wonderful job and it's greatly appreciated...but they are all tech. We need a promoter/supporter that works 24/7 on the forums/irc and is carismatic/... not bat shit crazy  Agreed. we need a cheerleader  We already have 1 on twitter. Whoever is running CoinBlack. I don't think cheerleader is going to make a difference. The time for big pump gains by paying $500 for article service are gone. IE tried the same thing for Voot and price went from 1000 to 1500 back to 1000. Thinking now we need to combine forces and attack BTC directly. |

someone dumped more than 10 BTC worths of BC and the price dropped to 14k at mintpal, have we hit the ground yet ?  What's really happening ? why did people sell BC so cheap ? "someone" - you answered it yourself. I don't have my magic crystal ball here, but the reasons are likely a) needs money and has money in crypto they actually need (it is insane, but it keeps happening) b) needs BTC to jump on latest shit/scamcoin pumps c) actually getting panic (although i think those people are already out) d) someone deliberately fucking with the BC price at personal and intentional loss e) as said above, the usual i dump and hope someone follows and i buy back more - trick Anyways, at this volume you can hardly speak of many people dumping, i suspect it is one person and 1 bot that will just continue, no matter what the price is (that's why its going down at more or less constant rate). it just hurts the the price hard as most people moved their coins away from mintpal, and cryptsy is unusable crap and no alternative for most. Once again it's not just BC. Pretty much all the MintPal favorites are getting hammered. |

Look at 3d price graph: imo we're getting the floor very soon. 15k is a very strong support for BC and it's a long run level. My 2 cent advise is buying as much you can under 16k. Now fondamentals and tech analysis are both "crying" the same rule: buy.
let's see about that same has been said at 20k, 19k, 18k and so on. getting my popcorn good luck blackcoin I'll buy good bag of BC below 10k, maybe 5k in next 2-3m; just look at cinni BC is not Cinni. |

I recently saw 37 million network weight. Is that a new BC record for staking or does anyone know what the peak was (I may have missed it)?
I only see 211 active nodes though. tommorow ill add 1 With many coins so it will secure network even better xD meto ill add 1 brings us to 213 by tmrw I was thinking of "Don't Playa Hate, Stake & Donate" campaign every Friday. haha I'll personally donate 1 BC for every 10 active nodes.
