Guys I do not know if I'm going crazy, but I was doing some beads and I was basing myself in the volume of the last 24 hours in 300Btc at Mintpal.
I picked up an average price of 18.5 K, I came to conclusion that were traded 1,700,000 BLK this is approximately 2,3 % of all Blackcoins available, and with this trading volume is realy impossible the price did not rise a bit, the only explanation that I found is that we do not have a single fucking investor buying BLK these days, our volume is just Daytraders.
If you think some more about it, in a just week were traded almost 30% of all existing Blackcoins, (Mintlap, Cryptsy, and other ones) but the Blackcoin Price did not increase nothing. So sorry, I think unfortunately we are in zombie mode.
BC has been in zombie mode for weeks + 1 If people buy and hold it, the price increases a lot, but people are not holding their Blackcoins, I'm repeating the last few weeks have been traded about 23 million blackcoins, and the price keeps falling. Or we have someone wanting to buy all blackcoins at a low price or we do no have a single fucking investor buying Blackcoin and we are in zumbie mode. I particularly think we're in the zombie mode, because our volume is only Daytraders having fun. I remember you calling me out on WC before, so now I'm going to do the same to you. If you care about BC, you should stop posting. We are #3 in volume. We've dropped the least of every other altcoin that matters. BTC has gone up so no one lost money in the last few days. I don't know what else you want. How about more optimistic posts? You seem to post that all the time on the other thread and that altcoin is dropping like a rock. |

Blackcoin looking poised for a breakout.
Yeah, I'm seeing a lot of 1-5 BTC buys today. That 10BTC wall that was at 19 didn't push the price down at all, it just got eaten steadily until it was gone. I think people may be realizing BLK is heavily undervalued at less than 20k.  Looks like you called it almost 20K |

I don't know who can sell their coins at those cheap level?!? Unbeleivable, there will be 3 months of PR that will be done with a private agency. If we were at the end the the 3 months, maybe it could be wise to sell, but at the start?? In my case, I'm happy of low price, so that mean my miners give me more BC per day. manipulation to hold the price down and trick others into selling cheap. It is e.g. more than possible than someone is selling to himself while constantly lowering the price, and they will of course also get the cheap coins others sell because they think that price is reflecting the actual value. Just have a look how quick every uptrend has been killed in the last weeks, sometimes with ridiculous sell orders more than 20% below market. Indeed, but why people fall in the pattern? If there is manipulation, it's because it way undervalued now, check it out when it will go up (for real) it will only need a spark and BOOM!  I'm patient, I could take a month, I could take a couples of months, half a year on maybe just one week but for sure many people will kick themselve for selling @ 18 000 sats. History always repeat istself.... that happens when greed and impatience meet and/or people are investing money they cannot afford to lose (worst mistake of the lot one can make, but happens more often than one would think...). Additionally people are not used to see new coins that have an actual value beyond the one, somtimes handful, P&D(s), BlackCoin and DarkCoin are the only ones in quite while now. If a coin does not shoot up for a 2nd time within a week people go out, because they see the green +20 or more percent on mintpal at other coins and/or hope they can join a clone in time. of course many get burned twice going out of coin #1 with a loss and joining #2 too late. Yeah I think there will always be people running after the train  One thing I'm sure is that my patience will repay again.... (I'm here with my blackcoins since their 1500 sats value BTW ) You held from 1500 to 90,000 without selling? I applaud your perseverance. |

Having spent time talking to the people that drive Bitcoin and its ecosystems at the Bitcoin Conference 2014, its clear there is lots of work ahead for ALL crypto.
Darksend features were talked about but they were NOT classified as a significant feature that people were demanding now.
Multi Sig wallets were one of THE buzzes at the Conference. Multi Sig features and design was all over. Darksend however was not. I would recommend people do not focus on Darksend as its a current unnecessary distraction when theres so much other stuff to do.
Theres lot of exciting things coming to BlackCoin... watch this space.

Is there an option to disable darksend payments?
I believe the default is not darksend, rather you have to opt to make your transaction a darksend (I think it slows down the transaction time a little). Oops. I phrased my question incorrectly. I meant an option not to receive darksend payments. |

It seems that now the new wave on cryptocurrencies is the Darksend function or anonymity, IŽd like to know what is the possibility to have that function implemented in blackcoin code, "Blacksend" or something like this.
As an investor I want to know what the chances in % of "Blacksend" or anonymity be implemented to blackcoin.
1-How long would it takes?
2-Rat4 is working on it?
3-Does community can offer some reward for help to implement this function in Blackcoin code?
Alright,with this remember this is just my personal opinion,and my opinion may or may not represent views of the entire community;that being said,I honestly feel that this feature is not necessary. I'm honestly thinking very long term.I'm very intrigued by the whole darksend tech,and I agree with the majority of people that it is revolutionary.however, I'm thinking about how countries/ governments/ legitimate merchants will see this. To make a long story short, I think dark send will be perhaps the future of black market and illicit activities.yes,BTC and other currencies have been able to launder money/ other illegal activities,but that's because a) people did not understand bitcoin/block chain. B)many had not even heard of BTC. Now that govts are watching digutal currencies,many of these criminals are being caught because of the block chain and fiat paper trails. We've seen that digital currencies are still here to stay,and their utility is still feasible for what they were meant.but with something like darksend and other features, im not really sure how well this will be received by the rest of the world.there's definitely money to be made with it,but will it bring legal and ethical implications with it down the road? No single government in the world will support Cryptocurrencie, and I particularly want that all governments will fuck off, if the function Darksend was not good Darkcoin and also the other new coins would not be thinking about implementing this. "Black market, is what the government says for you that is forbidden." Do not be a slave for your government, and do not let any government tell you what is right and what is wrong.
