Altcoins serve a very real need when you don't want to pay high transaction fees, bitcoin fees can get very expensive during certain times thats why people use alts like eth or ltc.

That loss isnt really that bad, I know people that have lost millions and are still holding. Remember that its not truly a loss until you decide to sell off your coins.

UTRUST? /Well I dont trust, lol did you get my joke, funny right? I should be the next big comedian like adam sandler
Well this project completely failed, chalk this one up to the gutter.

I had two friends that invested near the top and they a shit ton of money, believe me, they are rextremely upset and they started to spread a ton of fud about this project.
I remember this coin was pretty hyped up a while back but now populous has a barren community and very little development. makes me sad to see projects like this die so fast.
not gonna lie this projects looks really shady from the outside. I wont be caught dead putting a single satoshi into this project.

BNB just went through a really big pump which means it will for sure crash.
Ethereum is a much better investment at this point, it has real adoption and use case.
probably the worst investment is ripple and eos, they are both centralized bullshit that should never even be listed on coinmarketcap in the first place.
I'm not saying its impossible but it will take years for ethereum to break $2500 if it happens. Bitcoin will also have to be 30k or higher for that to even be remotely possible.
Eth is really cheap right now and it will go over 6x just to reach the previous all time high.

I really wish I held some of my early altcoins a lot longer. I sold a lot of coins before that massive bullrun in 2017. It sucks but I learned from my mistakes and now I will sell of my coins in portions.
The truth is no one really knows that the future holds. We have people like Warren Buffet calling bitcoin rat poison and we have people like Mcafee saying bitcoin will hit 1 million dollars. Just make your own decisions and don't blindly follow someone else.
I like to go after the coins that just got released before they get really hyped up. The most important thing about making a profit is get in in early then you are able to heavily reap the rewards during the first pump.

Its crazy how free bitcoins used to be handed out back in the early days. People could claim up to 10 bitcoins a day on one of those early faucets. Of course they weren't worth much at the time but imagined if you held those puppies till 20k.
My biggest mistake was not selling at the top of the last bullrun. I guess I got too greedy. I kinda fell into the trap when people were saying bitcoin would go to a million dollars and such. I feel like an idiot but at least I'm owning up to my mistakes and attempting to help newbies.

It doesn't take long to learn the ins and outs of the crypto markets. I seriously learned everything in a couple of weeks of heavy research. It all depends on how dedicated you truly are if you want to make an income out of crypto.

The main reason to buy crypto is to make money, I do love the technology and all but at the end of the day we all need money to survive.
I'm also a hobby miner, I don't make much money from this but its fun to play around and configure my gear.

I really don't believe that 95% of volume is fake, sounds like another FUD price from the bankers. Good exchanges don't have to fake volume because they are able to bring in new customers organically. I'm sure there are some shady ones but the same thing goes for real world business.

One of my favorite saying is "time in the market beats timing the market". Generally trying to time the market is a very tough thing to do and only a few people can really master it. The important thing is to get in early before something is well known.

John Mcafee is just an attention seeker, I wouldn't trust anything this guy says. He is just attempting to get more twitter followers. I still respect him and everything he has done for cryptocurrency and antivirus systems though.

Looks like most of the NEO hype has already died down. I remember people calling it the next ethereum , so much for that lol ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) The early investors still made a very nice return though, I know people that bought in under a dollar that are very happy about their purchase.
