Hey guys, anyone have an up to date node list?
|
|
|
^Yep, if you're discontent, just sell your (probably nonexistent) share and move on. Literally, nobody cares about your nonsense. PIVX was here, is here and will be here.
Sure, alts are in the shitter for a while now, but realistically, at least this period helps shake off ignorant people, trying to get rich quick. And also, what do you really expect with your comment? How does that help you?

I really miss the old Transaction tab, it was much better to navigate. The new Transactions section is scrollable, but there's no scroll bar, there's no option to filter results based on time (today, this week, etc.). I know the new graph is there to replace that, and it's real nice, but it's not ideal. And the UI is clunky/glitchy in some places (especially dropdown menus) but that's no biggie and overall the wallet is great. So far staking also seem to be improved (little to no orphans).

|
|
After a wallet restart I'm finding stake rewards and basically no orphans, but after 2-3 day it turns into almost all orphans until I restart the wallet again. Not sure why, it haven't done that before. Connection is not the issue, sitting on 1000/1000 fibre with 16 connections.
Two things pop out from debug.log:
ERROR: CheckInputs() : tried to spend coinbase at depth 91, coinstake=1 2019-11-14 ERROR: AcceptToMemoryPool: : ConnectInputs failed x
and
ERROR: CheckBlock : block timestamp too far in the future 2019-11-14 ERROR: ProcessNewBlock : CheckBlock FAILED for block x
Time is automatically updated so it's not off.

|
Hey guys, a question for stakers; do you also have a huge amount of orphans?
A few weeks ago I barely had any orphan blocks but the last few days I have like a 70% orphan-rate.

As much as I'd like to see Homero Joshua Garza to get fucked, repeatedly, against his will, in various ways, it's obvious that there's a new scam disguised going around.
I've got the same email on multiple email accounts, all of them being highly unofficial and scammy.
Title is: "Court Approved Legal Notice about a Class Action Lawsuit Involving GAW Miners, LLC and ZenMiner, LLC"

Great read! Here's my experience: I had 8 nodes and have set the txfee to 0.02 LOG/KB but even then most transactions didn't go through and it felt like bigger trasactions, in the thousands, failed more often than smaller ones, even though the coins were consolidated into one address.
The transactions were visible in the local mempool but wasn't picked up in hundreds, if not thousands of blocks by the network.

Glad to see you back!
What about the current wallet issues where transaction aren't going through?

any idea when crex24 will be back online or why they have it disabled?
Well, it's up to Funk, but he's offline since July 30th... Which brings me to this: I'm going to be honest here but I always loved the Woodcoin project, the image, the scheme, the goal and what Funk did and what he seemingly stood for. But, once again, it's clear that as much heart this coin had from the beginning, unfortunately, it also suffers from a major flaw, meaning this coins is not *really* decentralized. I say that because everything was and is up to Funk and his hiatus represents very well how much this coin suffers withuout him...

Whoa, did not expect to see myself quoted from reddit. I'm very curious how long the fix will take and if they decide to punish the offenders in any way.

What crawler, for what data?

Crex24 temporarily disabled LOG deposits/withdrawals (I didn't talk to them) and funkenstein seems absent.

Hey woodcutters, me and a friend are trying to send a couple thousand coins but the transactions keep failing. They get broadcasted and can be seen by block explorers (so abandontransaction doesn't work) but never confirmed even in days. The coins are coming from a single input (200-300 bytes) so the blocksize is tiny. Fees doesn't matter. Only --zapwallettxes helps 'giving back' the unspent coins. The transactions aren't 'conflicting', just never get confirmed. Both with the older and newer wallet. We could only send 1-2k coins at a time but sometimes even those fail which gets annoying. What is going on?
Also, congrats on 1 million blocks!

Based on coinmarketcap.com, BTC's dominance is apparently 55.8% at the time of writing.
But, I believe the real world dominance/relevance is much closer to let's say 95%.

I do not think this is right, people often get paid $5 and above to fill survey forms online since it is more of a market research. You will get people contributions if you need them to respond to your post here and not to fill a survey form.
People who do surveys for money are a very specific group of people, often not caring about the topic or the answers in the slighest. A good way to bloat surveys with entries but those entries aren't that good. A good survey is organic and aims to target the widest (but relevant) audience possible.

Good job on the update!
I forked off once on day 1 of the new wallet, but hopefully won't happen frequently.

Hey, so it's pretty quiet in here since we got booted off the exchange.
Any news or aims for another exchange?
