У 6500-х защиты от майнинга как таковой нет. У них просто используется 64-битная шина памяти, которая серьезно режет производительность подсистемы памяти. На алгоритмах, нетребовательных к VRAM эта карат должна вести себя очень достойно ввиду высокой скорости GPU и маленького потребления. A serious disadvantage of Radeon RX 6500 XT is low bandwidth of the memory bus (64 bits), as well as use of only 4 PCI-E lanes. This greatly reduces performance of the memory subsystem. However, given the presence of 16 MB of third-level cache (AMD Infinity Cache), throughput of the RX 6500 XT is declared by AMD at 232 GB/s. This value is achievable when performing operations with small data packets and can seriously increase hashrate on some mining algorithms (like lyra2z330). Similair improuvment is observed on CPU Intel i5-4570R with 128 MiB of L4 cash (article about mining performance of this CPU is here: https://www.cryptoprofi.info/?p=11239).

In most cases, it is not the riser that is to blame, but the cables that carry the signal between GPU and motherboard. They can have poor shielding quality, poor contacts at the joints. The real problem due to risers can be the failure of the converter, which directly converts 12V to 3.3V. Such risers can kill the video card when this converter burns out. So, it's better to use risers with double conversion 12V-5V-3.3V.

Look in file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts. Maybe the problem is there. Try to put there pools-whitelist from minerstat.

I have seen videos on Youtube this card mining Vertcoin even at 2 GB just a couple of months ago,right now 4 GB can do that I believe also and I have seen that it does like 0.20-0.25 VTC daily.The power consumption is really low so if you have one such card it doesn't hurt to let it mine Vertcoin,I doubt it can perform better in other algorithms.
2 GB version of Nvidia GT1030 gives about 100 Kh/s while mining verthash algo. It seems to me that the most profitable algo for this card is CN_GPU — 240 h/s. More information about this card is here: https://www.cryptoprofi.info/?p=8338. I think there is no difference in performance on most of the algos between 2 and 4 GB versions. Latter GPU is more universal because it's possible to launch mining ERGO, FIRO, most of ethash coins, etchash, etc.

1030 gives only 5-7 MH/s while mining Ethash-coins.

Не будь возможности обманывать покупателей подержанных видеокарт, такие люди нашли бы другие возможности для обмана. К сожалению, отсутствие порядочности и желание урвать становятся все более распространенными среди людей.

You have to use zero intensity on miner's command line. It's in most cases will be OK for you.

You have to establish forced ventilation at the rate of 300 cubic meters of exhaust air for each kilowatt of mining rig power. Also you have to take into account that each square meter of a south-facing window brings in about an additional 1 kilowatt of heat in the afternoon. Therefore, I turn off some of the rigs in the afternoon before dusk.

GTX 1030 has good performance on Cryptonight_GPU, megabtx, megamec and verthash, which makes it possible to use it for profitable mining in 2021. Some of my Intel IGPU´s can do 50kh If you had one, mine just for fun, but not really "profitable" GTX 1030 has only 30 w TDP, your CPU consumes more.
