Your card is too old. Try to use CryptoDredge and Cryptonight-Gpu mining. It is one of the best algos for your GPU.

I'm sure that after a while the drivers will be patched by "folk craftsmen", and after a while Nvidia official unlocked versions will appear. This is the dialectic of life and marketing. In addition, it is easy enough to adapt the Nvidia laptop driver for desctop graphics if desired. Such drivers for RTX3060 were already released in January 2021, and they have no restrictions for mining. This already  led to a unique phenomenon - the emergence of mining farms on laptops.

It is even possible to use integrated Intel Graphics for verthash mining. There is an example here: https://www.cryptoprofi.info/?p=8002. It is better than Monero at the moment. Taking into account that mining on verthash algo is possible on any video cards, including integrated into the CPU, it can be assumed that very soon  network hashrate and difficulty of the mining will be increased significantly again.

I'm using Claymore monitoring API and every few days on several LInux rigs I have error "CM API Maximum connection limit reached, closing new connection". Miner is working but monitoring is stopped. What is the problem?

You have to take into account not only future PoS. There are scheduled difficulty bomb in July 2021 and EIP-1559 cutting fee paid for transaction from reward of the miners. It will significantly decrease miner's revenue.

С продажами для своих у них проблем нет (официально на f2pool уже пашут), с поставками простым смертным, видимо, загвоздка, не знают какой ценник выставить.  Видеокарты сейчас пачками в магазинах разгребают по оверпрайсу. This project is sofisticated scam. It is a trojan horse steeling data from computers and sending it to US, Spanish, UAE and other servers. It is info based on execution of the sample on the analysis machine on joesandbox service.

All cards have memory bandwidth only 512 GB / sec. That's why hashrate on Ethash will be around 64 mh/s (without overclocking). Nvidia with GDDR6X is a winner without any doubts (+30% hashrate on 3080 in comparaison with RX6900XT). Amd doesn't wish to sell their cards to miners. Latest RDNA2 cards are designated for gamers. Mabe RX6700/RX6700XT will be more attractive for miners.

You have to use ubuntu 18.04 and 20.20-1089974 drivers. Command line sudo ./amdgpu-pro-install --compute is wrong and deprecated in new drivers. You have to use sudo ./amdgpu-pro-install -y --opencl=pal,legacy --headless

Claymore and Phoenix don't work on Ubuntu 20.04. You have to use nanominer or ethminer, also there are some problems with downvolting and fan control. It is better to use (x)ubuntu 18.04 at the moment - all miners and utilities work well.
