It a lot to take in

Very interesting. I will come back and try to wrap my head around all this.

Seems you have put a lot of thought into this.

Rank, merit, and trust level systems still need a lot of work...

It's good to see someone putting this much effort into this..
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 reasons to start playing blockchain games on: November 30, 2020, 05:45:53 PM
If you are not up on NFTs and Blockchain games....you are truly missing a very profitable train.

Reminds me of crypto back when there were only 30 projects total

All the doubts that people are posting are the exact same shit that was being said about altcoins back then.

Can you explain in more detail, because we cannot answer if your statement is biased and not detailed. Maybe you can edit your thread and add a subject. so we always provide suggestions or feedback. rather than reading a thread not knowing where to go.

Thank you so much for the response.

I gave more detail here. I can't think of any more details I can add.

I think it's better if you provide more details about what is trying to be done here, the information you put was few I guess.

Blockchain games are selling assets to the community for the first time.

Most go to the website and choose what asset to buy on the day of the sale. All the stuff in demand is gone in seconds because of those bypassing the website and interacting directly with the smart contract the second the sale starts.

How do I do this?

I apologise that I can't give you more details. It seems my understanding here is so lacking here, that I can't seem to ask the question right. Whew.

Thank you so much to those trying to help me figure this out.

I need to know how this is done.

Do I need a certain tool?

Thanks.

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fastest blockchain? on: November 02, 2020, 03:43:46 PM
Base on my previous experiences there's a lot of claims that were hanging around and say's that they possessed the fastest blockchain in the industry, But according to TECTUM Blockchain creator "they are the fastest blockchain because they already reach the 1 million TPS" and it is very far from Bitcoin's 4.6 TPS, Ethereum's 15 TPS, Ripple's 1700 TPS and even with EOS 50,000 TPS, if it's true base on that claim Tectum Blockchain, is the fastest.

Sources:
https://medium.com/predict/the-worlds-fastest-blockchain-exceeds-1-million-transactions-per-second-8931df09320d
https://tectum.io/

They don't have supporting documents for this claim. The medium link you provide is an interview to the team member and all word that he said is just his opinion. Even the 1M TPS has no basis at all, The video on the medium is just a graphical representation of how nodes work. They don't have any testnet data available and also they will surely be on major publishing website like coindesk and coinstelegraph.com if they really have what they are claiming. The only source for there claims is just there own written medium blog.

1M TPS is insane. LOL

Exactly
The question is...who has high TPS with decentralized consensus scaled?

There is only one.  Avalanche <AVAX>
Vitalik himself has tweeted about it
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $20+Day! Villages in Philippines survive Covid playing Axie Infinity on: November 02, 2020, 03:30:19 PM
It was certainly a godsend to the people who made a good living from it, but I don't think its a trend that would continue to infinity, especially as more and more people found out about it, driving the price of the token they were earning and selling over and over. Demand for the game would have to continue to pick up, which I don't think that it did -- although its certainly an interesting economic model that is likely to continue well into the future.

I agree.

The biggest problem I see with it are the values. They are not sustaineable for a game that just released. Who the hell is paying 40,000 USD to an Axe? That just looks like a Ponzi or just some price manipulation to pump the game/token?

Quote
For more seasoned players, or those with greater risk appetite, higher returns can be made by trading the Axies themselves. Inton has dabbled in this space, breeding Axies and selling them for as much as 2,000 PHP ($41). Just last week, two very rare Axies were sold for 60 and 90 ETH. The highest price ever fetched for a single Axie currently sits at 110 ETH.

I know that there are valuable items in games. I am a gamer myself for nearly 40 years.
I know there are valuable items/characters in WoW for example. But WoW is a game that is nearly 20 years old (released 2004). Some characters and items are old and have too much work on them. And the values are not that high!

But certainly, that is amazing for filipinos and who else is making money from it to support their family in this dark times.

Who is paying $40,000 for an Axie? Someone who believes it is undervalued at the moment.

There are Axies worth that much

The Axie landplay game coming out next year have plots worth over $50,000

I would look into it.

Imagine those in game assets sold by other players, and not the developers. The developers of Axie Infinity sold the land, and original Axies, now it has its own economy. The debs take 4% on all trades on their marketplace,  if you don't trust the trader. This is only the beginning. You will see land and Rare Axies go for millions in the future.

The more players the better. It is not only sustainable if "everyone tried to play to earn", but would be even better than it is now.

You earn by battling your Axies
You earn Small Love Potion <SLP>
SLP is needed to breed Axies

New players need Axies,  that you can only buy from Breeders
Breeders can't breed without SLP

New players sell SLP to breeders

More new players > More Demand for SLP

Breeders can only breed Axies 7 times, and each time more SLP is needed

The math works

All the growth metrics are a hockey stick
-google searches
-Axie vol
-Land vol
-new players
-slp vol

Their governance token is launching very soon
