Lets say that average new smartphone has around 3000mAh battery. Have they allready tested battery consumption for lets say 10 hours of mining? Also, there will be a problem when you are connected to wifi and you power charger, there might be some overheating of your device.
The mobile mining checks your phone and sees how much processing power you would have if your phone were to try and actually mine the blocks at that time. The amount of stress put on your phone is similar to that on your phone loading a wikipedia page. It doesnt run out the battery or "make your phone hot" |

My understanding is it simulates mining. So therefore no resources used on your phone. They just look at the specs of your phone and you get tokens based on that. It is essentially still mining, just a simulation of it. As long as you get tokens for using it that is what mattters. Better to mine like this than melt your phone. The actual mining will be on PC’s. Is this actually correct? Just asking. But if it is correct, then it would be much more convinced of the system really being sustainable. I am sure someone will be along soon to clear it up. But that is what my understanding is of how the mining works on mobiles. Not sure but you may get coins also for other activities you do in the app eventually. Yes correct! You can run mining app in the background or you can play the in App game and get bonus coins |

The point of the mobile mining is to get the masses involved. It is just a tool for marketing purposes. The average joe using the app will not know or care if the app is actually mining. Dont pay him any attention he comes and FUD the thread once and a while, dont listen to him |

when 40% bonus end you want to dev to get more time , then when 30% bonus end too you want dev to get more time , what the hell you doing in 7 days period ? why didn't buy it when bonus is available l  Dude, the bonus didn't end. There was 1.5 hours left and the site went down and I tried to login hundreds of times to no avail. This is not our fault. I'm sick and tired of people saying but you had all the other time. This is not an excuse. If you are paid $100 dollars, and your boss randomly decides to pay you $80 week, do you look at the situation and say oh well, at least I'm getting a wonderful $80. NO and this is the same here. The terms are the terms, I have every right to wait until the last hour as long as I'm meeting the terms laid out. The first hour of a bonus period is not different then the final hour. The terms were broken and there needs to be some sort of remedial action to make it fair to those of us who fell within this window. I can even prove my claim. This is a test to see if the devs will do right and abide by the terms that they laid out. I am extremely pissed about this! For god sake, give us a break. If you dont like this ico , just go invest in control finance, or in ico that steal your money, in ico-s with no face, strange coins where the dev just dump and disappear. The site went down, you didn't buy. WHO THE HELL CARES. You should have done your timing calculations better. You are the only responsible for your missing opportunity..... but you have still a month to buy... oh you don't want? you want the 40%?. Well that train passed. DEAL WITH IT. As i said , if you dont want to buy now or in the following month, then come to the exhanges after 1 november  Let's say the technical issue also wiped your balance to 0. Should I also say DEAL WITH IT and WHO CARES? There is a great 30% bonus so why don't you buy again? The coin will go up 5x, so who cares. NO. You're saying all that because you're not the one that got fucked over. We met the timeline alloted and the REASON why we couldn't get in was due to a technical issue, not because we slacked off. Try to comprehend the difference, because it doesn't seem like you do mate. Ok, now it is just about the time England wakes up. The dev is aware of this. Lets wait and find out what he is going to do. I am not trying to get your hopes up. I dont see him restarting the 40% Bonus |

this project may be ambitious but that doesn't mean they will be successful. with the real business, people and marketing behind it, it seem unlikely to be a scam. although it is difficult to tell these days. i think it's a good bet it's legit, the question being how successfull can it be.
it's good to see that they will have an actual product available after launch, and with the marketing maybe they will bring many non-crypto people into the mix, which is good for everyone. i'm considering buying some today, since i've never invested in an ico and have missed out on all these gains i hear from others. i think the people stating 10x are way too optimistic, and 100x are unrealistic, but possibly 2-3x seems reasonable. if this can maintain its .01c (~240 satoshi) directly after launch then gains would be reasonable as more people come into it. i like the fact that only about half a billion are sold out of 6 billion, and we could assume it will get closer to a billion before the sale is over, so maybe 5 billion would be available to the mobile miners. the whitepaper says they will try to maintain a $30/month reward for the mobile miners by using those unsold funds to boost the rewards to that level, which is an interesting approach. that's about 100 mined per day per mobile user, so you can see how the unsold supply may get used up more quicky as more users join. this method of release is like an airdrop with any user with a phone able to do it. i will be telling my family and friends to try it as a way of getting them into crypto, also the promise of free money sells itself.
so the question for investors would be can it maintain the ico price following launch, which in this ico craze has happened enough; will it be less than successful and drop to some fraction of its value initially, which is possible, and maybe later gain; or can it become virally popular and generate a lot of interest therefore a price increase. i like the project and will probably invest some and hope for the success. good luck

Im here. I was trying to have answers to post. I dont know what happened with the glitch. Im just glad it was only small amount of time and didnt effect too many people I feel bad they missed the 40%, but these things happen. They can still get a great deal at 30%. Remember, these are bonuses. You still will get a profit because it will be $.01 when the token sale ends No one likes when a site goes down and Im sure the dev will take steps to prevent it in the future. Thats really all he can do at this point. It frustrates everyone, and no one more than the devs Im sure. |

Is their any way to come up with a rough estimation of how many coins per day I would get mining on computers. for example if I can get around 1000 H/S how many ETN would that be per day.
Good question. I have been wondering this for both computers and mobiles phones. Hopefully they release some information soon. That is a good question. Very hard to do with any POW coin It is not only hard , It is impossible to know how many coins you gonna mine on a POW coin before the mining start , because it depends on the number of people that will start to mine it along with the difficulty of the mining . Now the real question should be how many coin per block ! , As for mobile it is the same even tho it is not real mining put the number of people mining from mobile will effect the number of coins you will get if a pool have for example 10 coins for block the number you will get will be different depending on if this 10 gonna be divided on 100 , 1000 or even 1000000 . COPIED STRAIGHT OFF OF THE WHITE PAPER Adaptive limitsA decentralized payment system must not depend on a single person’s decisions, even if this person is a core developer. Hard constants and magic numbers in the code deter the system’s evolution and therefore should be eliminated (or at least be cut down to the minimum). Every crucial limit (like max block size or min fee amount) should be re-calculated based on the system’s previous state. Therefore, it always changes adaptively and independently, allowing the network to develop on it’s own. Electroneum’s CryptoNote has the following parameters which adjust automatically for each new block: 1. Difficulty. The general idea of our algorithm is to sum all the work that nodes have performed during the last 720 blocks and divide it by the time they have spent to accomplish it. The measure of the work is the corresponding difficulty value for each of the blocks. The time is calculated as follows: sort all the 720 timestamps and cut-off 20% of the outliers. The range of the rest 600 values is the time which was spent for 80% of the corresponding blocks. 2. Max block size. Let MN be the median value of the last N blocks sizes. Then the “hard-limit” for the size of accepting blocks is 2*MN. It averts blockchain bloating but still allows the limit to slowly grow with the time if necessary. Transaction size does not need to be limited explicitly. It is bounded by the size of the block. Smooth emissionThe upper bound for the overall amount of all digital coins is also digital: MSupply = 264 − 1 atomic units This is a natural restriction based only on the implementation limits, not on intuition like “N coins ought to be enough for everybody”. To make the emission process smoother electroneum’s CryptoNote uses the following formula for block rewards: BaseReward = (MSupply − A) >> 18 Where A is amount of previously generated coins. It gives a predictable growth of the money supply without any breakpoints. |
