Don't be too excited. It'll disappoint you to know that the mobile mining was only overhyped. I'd be lieing if I say I'm not disappointed. I once believed Electroneum's mobile mining but not anymore though. After running the mobile miner for over a week, the returns is nothing to write home about. This is totally true Look at it this way guys Mine contstantly for 5 years. Take those coins and see what they are worth at the price in 5 years. If Electroneum is successful in its plans, which I believe they will be, in 5 years that will be a decent size amout of cash. Think in 5 years the total crypto marketcap will be so much I wont even say it, as it will make most doubt my intelligence. ETN IMO will be a top# 3-5 coin. The value of what you are mining isnt amt of ETN x todays price, but the price in 5 years if you wait until then to sell. All you have to do is keep it running in the background for 5 years and HODL until then. I promise you it will be worth the couple seconds per day. The mobie mining is exactly what I expected and you will see the number grow. Think long term, as thats what the devs are doing. They could have blown through even 10% of the cash they got and everyone would be high-fiving each other all over the place. The trick to marketing is have it create seeds that grow, instead of pure push, and in your face. Marketing done the old way, when the money runs out, you see decline. The way they to do it is to market in a way that when the $$ are taken away from whatever series they paid to create and start, it keeps going, and they can move on and spend the money on the next idea that will grow ETN, rinse and repeat. It just so happens that Richard is one of the greatest minds in the world at this concept. IE Avon, Herbalife Let that all sink in. You have no idea what these guys are going to accomplish. Keep this is mind when you hear Richard say hes not worried about an issue. A. It means he has it handled. B. Also, getting the amount of funding they did in the hands of someone like Richard, was like handing him the Federal Reserve. ETN is so next level its hard to even comprehend. They have so much money, and they are frugal. Electroneum will be a household brand. No question. Mass adoption, truly for the first time. They are exactly on the path I expected. I know you all are still on CryptoTime, but this is RealWorld. Its been a few months. The miner a few weeks 60,000+ Lets hear guesses for the amount of miners at end of 2018? |

I know the Cryptopia issue lasting 5-6 days was really annoying, especially considering that the other exchange requires KYC for ANY withdrawl at all, and also just came online.
As a community, I know losing access to markets is very troubling, so I was proud that overall the community handled it in a very patient and mature way!!
Cryptopia is now done with "Maintenence".
Lets hope they keep it together at least until HitBTC comes online next month, along with other exchanges.
Its obvious that the large majority of you are looking long term, which is leads to the very strong community we have here.

Good afternoon to everyone my name is Patrick and I'm an attorney who runs across Europe, on 01 Oct 2017 I send 17.1084 Ethereum to Electroneum website which I can not access at this time and honestly, I was not interested in anything until this day when I spoke to a friend about different coins like Bitcoin Ripple and many others how the market is down and up all the time now I would like to draw the attention of everyone who owns this Electroneum coin. - When you go to this link https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/electroneum/ you will see that Announcement will redirect you on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2065043.0 on an old thread where nothing can be written anymore - If you take the time to analyze a bit all the videos on youtube you will see that many of them are made by users who are crying or who have no idea what they are talking about just to make views - At this point because they can not access their account or the transfer has failed, I am in the same position - 41 minutes ago I wrote a message on facebook that I can not access my account after another 4 minutes ago I was blocked on their facebook page - My friends' opinion was the next because I can not have a momentary opinion but I will have one soon A friend: They have collected a huge amount of money and they do not even give 1 cent what other people say because money is already in their accounts and they not even bothered to hire more people to support. Me: Now I'm stupid in front of my friends because I've invested in this coin that I've heard is a clone from another coin I took pictures of this post and also a short video was done in case I can not access my coins in the next 24 hours. If you dont want to become banned from posting on this thread, and have your account banned/suspended if you fail to do so, stop stating blantant lies as established fact, as this is the fastest way to become banned from this thread. Was it worth it to announce mobile mining at all? I think at the current moment this is not relevant, because this requires serious computing power. It's just a marketing move.
The marketing has to be a seed, or once the marketing is not there, it doesnt continue to grow and take on users naturally. So the mobile miner being just a marketing ploy doesnt quite explain it. The mobile miner will fuel the viral growth. In this case you have to remember that "viral" is not a cute buzzword here, its the reason that ETN will spread, bringing a very large network. Very large networks bring A LOT of value, and we are talking "very large network", as in the largest of all cryptos. This year. The crypto with the most users Many people agree, which is why they buy at a rate that puts cap so high on a "copy of Monero". The mobile miner is everything. What will the cap be when ETN has more users than Bitcoin? |

It`s nice to see that even if the market is crashing today because of the bad news Electroneum is still in the green. This is what a strong commited community can do.
We have to get used to it, Electroneum is a different coin, this is a project that will change a lot in the crypto currency and electroneum will have many usages and there will be massive adoptions, but I'm more comfortable seeing it grow slowly and steadily. Electroneum is not a short term investment the way i see it also, the technology needs to be fully developed and widely adopted by majority for it value to be noticeably appreciated. Hodler for long term untill i see its potentials for sure. What technology ? Monero is technology and ETN is a complete copy of this technology and ETN team has not any improvements related to technology of the coin planned. Fully develop what ? Fake mining ? It could be already done by 2-3 average android/mac developers with no any knowledge about crypto. We are talking about multi million "company". Long term investing ? This is crypto world, look at the market, you whether do your job fast and properly or you will be forgotten because someone will fork you and make something great without money that you had. Im sure that those that invested in the ICO are furious with their 15-20x gains, and thats just scratching the surface. That is just the streach before the race. Thats all $.15-$.20 is, the very low price right before race starts. Just like I warned all of you "doom and gloom" guys that were "100% sure" there was gonna be a megadump, Im telling you again. What I see from many of the people in this thread is rehashing the argument that there is no big improvement in the tech.
Electroneum forked Monero.
Monero's tech is fine.
ETN added the mobile mining experience.
Many of you same people said that "was nothing", and "no big deal"
Look where we are now!! The partnerships and team infastructure are just getting started. The mobile mining experience hasnt even started yet. Patience!!!
ITS NOT ALLLLLL ABOUT THE TECH, BUT WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH IT.
Clearly, this team has shown that they are very capable of taking this tech farther than ANYONE else, considering that are currently on pace to have the most users of any crypto in 2018, including Bitcoin.
Its so refreshing to finally see a team with the vision and capability to take crypto to the next level, and take it to the masses.
The masses dont care if ETN is a fork of Monero. They have no idea, but they will use it.

Still having this problem.... I hope that someone from Electroneum will finally anwser me with a solution.... Send a few e-mails already and tried to contact them on social media... 1. i've been stuck for weeks with my electroneum, my transactions are stuck on pending (no TX hash) 2. I can't send any coins (every transaction i make, either big or small stays on pending forever) 3. I tried different addresses, doesn't matter. 5. My available balance is not corresponding to my wallet balance, since the blockchain can't update i suppose. 4. Still got no bounty rewards.  Also, remember that there is no guarantee it will fix your problem, but go to the website if youre on the app and keep refreshing |

whattomine doesn't estimate very well i think. I am mining ZCL, but i only get a half of what they estimated. It is the same thing for other coins too. Maybe it is because i am using a laptop? But the laptop graphic card version should be equivalent to the desktop for the Geforce GTX 1080 i think.
I have another laptop mining with cpu only. And now i can only mine 0.2 ETN every day... Last week i could mine 1.25 ETN every day.
Agree on whattomine. I have stopped relying on their estimates. The CPU mining output on ETN has dropped for me also, but not as dramatic. I'm getting maybe half of what I used to get. maybe they only need to update the difficulty of the network to get back on the good side of the estimates The difficulty always adjusts automatically Just ignoring questions are you? When will you guys fix the online wallet for everyone/me? Balance unable to update for over 3 f'in weeks now, pending transfers since december 15. How about giving me access to my ETN! They are working on it. Submit at ticket at zendesk They are 12 days behind. I know thats not good news to you, but if you get to day 13 without a response, send me a PM, and I will take care of it. In the meantime, keep trying to again and again. When I was using my wallet, I had to refresh it 100 times before it finally worked for me. Many things have been fixed since then.
