21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get BCH from my existing Bitcoins? on: August 21, 2017, 07:13:10 AM
Hi All,

On August 1st, the Blockchain splitting occurred. I know that some Bitcoin exchangers automatically credited the accounts of users with equal number of Bitcoin Cash coins (BCH) as they had Bitcoin.
Only couple of them.

However, I wanted to know that if I have some Bitcoins on my local computer. I have the complete wallet and I own my private keys. In that case, can I do something now to get those BCH as well?

I am using Bitcoin Core version: 0.13.1.0 and the last time I opened my wallet was before the Blockchain splitting occurred.

Thanks.
At this point, you should stay away from bogus wallets which advertise themselves all over the internet. You can follow a tutorial on Coinomi wallet to get your BCH which would be stored on their wallet. To be on the safer side, move all your coins from the current wallet to a completely new wallet and then go with the private key export procedure.

Just leaving a warning for the people planning to invest in the ICO : I have had issues with the management regarding a bounty for my signature which was unpaid.I tried contacting the ICO founders but no one replied. This shows their integrity towards their participants.I was going to invest but what if they acted the same if I had issues with my investment ? BIG RED FLAG.
It was nice of the campaign manager @Woshib to pay my dues from his own pockets.
23  Other / Meta / Re: Default trust depth should be set to 3 on: August 18, 2017, 11:36:22 AM
An even better idea is to ~default trust, and to make your own trust list. I've seen way too much bullshit from DT members to take that list seriously.
Many DT members are trying to put each other down recently. All those with dark green trusts are replaced by Huh.
At the end of the day,the member with more 'pull' towards a DT1 member  gets added to the list.I have't seen a new member added to the DT1/DT2 since forever.Soon I realised one shouldn't take the DT list seriously hence replace the default with my custom list of members.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will be the number1 coin? Bitcoin or Etherium? on: August 18, 2017, 09:23:17 AM
What do you think is the best coin in the World?  Bitcoin or Etherium? Many said, Etherium is the best coin ever made, many also said that no coin can beat the first and most powerful coin in the planet. Hmmmm...  What do you think?  Undecided
Bitcoin. Not only the tech or the team that matters but the idea is widely accepted by the merchants, traders and other corporate services. It's obvious the coin which is widely used becomes the best coin.Speaking factually, there is no such thing as the best coin because it's subjective. It's similar to comparing Windows Vs Mac.Both have an advantage over each other  but windows is widely used in all corporate organisations.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do I need to verified my bittrex account ? on: August 18, 2017, 09:15:04 AM
It is the right choice, because with many problems that arise on polo you better switch on bittrex.
There seems to be a new policy on bittrex and no matter how much you trade in bittrex you better raise your bittrex account level to basic.
Basic ? The new policies wouldn't allow you withdraw 0.02 without any level of verification. You need to verify your phone number, address and name to process small withdrawals. If you are a high volume trader, you will need to bypass the advanced verification which includes ID card and other documents.

How does the 2FA work on Bittrex? Do they use Google Authenticator?
Yes,they use Google Authentication on your mobile.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you dumped your BCC yet? on: August 18, 2017, 07:37:24 AM
Dumped 80% of bcc. Holding 20% cause of my own fomo Cheesy
What's a fomo ? You should have dumped the remaining 20% as well. You don't know the lows future beholds for you.

Even if bitcoin cash has bitcoin in its name it is a different coin, at some point when we get the correction on the market I do not see why bitcoin cash would go up a lot, more people will buy Ethereum or Litecoin or another promising coins before they buy bitcoin cash.
People just converted their BCC for some free money. No one's really interested in buying a coin which takes forever to confirm and has handful of miners.Ethreum has reached a point of no return. It's dying.Look at the prices, they haven't shown any progress since ages.

29  Economy / Reputation / Re: green turst on: August 12, 2017, 12:24:30 PM
how i can get green trust
Certainly not sold out in the digital market.
To start with, why do you want to get green trust ? Almost 99% of the time green trust seekers are scammers who wish to use trust as a weapon.Unless you explain further, there is no point in enlightening scammers.
30  Economy / Services / Re: [ICO] Enigma Catalyst - Build Your Crypto Hedge Fund | Signature campaign [FULL] on: August 12, 2017, 12:20:04 PM
Second Week of the campaign. No update on the payments and or the spreadsheet. Suddently ICO team never bothered to reply here neither the campaign manager.

@Woshib : Please update as on the same as this isn't professional or reputable for the company's ICO.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you invest in ICOs? on: August 08, 2017, 08:37:36 AM
For me it is good to invest in some alt-coin specially if they have ICO because we know how there coin go further and how much is there market cap.
And did you make any money with that logic ? "I invest in the ICO because I know the coin will have a good market cap".Go Home Sir.

It is good for long term investment also! I just have some alt-coin by joining there ICO bounty campaign and some of them I already cash-out. Wink
That doesn't make you an investor ,that makes you a bounty whore.
32  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CoinFalcon - No Fee Bitcoin and Ethereum Exchange on: August 08, 2017, 08:34:31 AM
No Free + Exchange == Obvious Scams
Please explain your revenue model if you are choosing to run an exchange as a charity. Those whatever % fees you would take will be equivalent to the transaction fees.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: By mistake bitcoin sents to BCC (bitcoin cash) address on: August 08, 2017, 08:32:17 AM
--nullified--
To make it simple for you, just imagine sending Bitcoins to an Eth address,do you think it will ever reach the destination or even accepted by the block for that matter ? It is not upto Bittrex if you broadcasted a transaction to a wrong address.
As much as I would like you to have hopes, technically I don't think it is possible.
34  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Pump Alert service on: August 08, 2017, 08:09:34 AM
Is there any kind of service out there that sends alerts out when a coin is having large increase in buy volume,
something like cryptoping bot but honestly i find it to expensive, 0.01 BTC per month for subscription is way to much, 0.005 BTC is a price i can live with.
You basically want the services for free ? While with that data you can double your money but you stingy fuck don't want to pay the people who put efforts in doing so ? Personally, you don't deserve anything with that attitude.

It has to be able for me to choose only certain coins to watch so i dont get flooded with alerts for coins i dont want to follow.
How it sends me the alert notifications doesnt really matter as long as it does just that.
You have a big list of requirements and no money. No one would work for free ,just to make your pockets bigger.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: By mistake bitcoin sents to BCC (bitcoin cash) address on: August 08, 2017, 07:55:07 AM
today i sent my bitcoins from localbitcoin to bittrex.com (Bcc wallet)(Bitcoin cash wallet) by mistake 1 bitcoin
I'm afraid you will never be able to get those bitcoins back.If you just open their BCC wallet, you could see their policie which states if you deposit wrong currency in the BCC wallet they're not responsible and coins would be lost forever. You could have read that line for once. Moreover, how can you not know how cryptocurrencies work ? Doesn't make any sense to deposit bitcoins in an altcoin wallet.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: advice: extracting Bitcoin Cash safely on: August 08, 2017, 07:50:00 AM
Thanks man, while I love Google I am not a strong believer of Android when it comes to privacy and safety, too much permission can be invoke by the apps. Coinomi looks pretty neat though, wonder when iOS version will be out.
Me too but I wanted to send the coins to an exchange to rid off it asap so I used a friend's Android,Ios user here.Coinomi looks safe since they have stuff professionally organized on their website.Although I used it,I didn't keep my coins for more than a few hours.Once confirmed,I moved to Bittrex. If you look at it,it depends on what you wish to do with your coins.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Problem with ICO on: August 08, 2017, 06:21:29 AM
It is one of the risk you have to take as an investor. Most of the time, tokens are over priced at ico point, then it will drop when it hits the market. But if you invested on the right coin, one with actual use, then the price will recover over time.
Tokens are always the cheapest in the first sell of the ICO.If chosen wisely this may turn out to be a great decision if the coin is worth investing and ICO doesn't turn into a scam before the second week.

If the price of a coin fall below the ico price maybe it may not deserve ico price? I think buy wall that represents total amount of bounty reward should be placed in exchanges after ico.
That shows the coin is trash and people don't see a future in it,either technically or financially. Most of the alt-coins fit into this category.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: advice: extracting Bitcoin Cash safely on: August 08, 2017, 05:14:34 AM
Due to the continue unconfirmed identity of "Jonald Fyookball", which Electrum calls a "fake name".

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=261027

You can avoid the entire Electron Cash wallet drama and  use one of the other online wallets to extract your BCC.I have done the same using Coinomi Android Client after emptying the wallets.Takes hardly 10 minutes.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Not Use Electron Cash! on: August 07, 2017, 11:25:10 AM
That's exactly what I did before importing the private key. Although I skimmed through the source and didn't notice anything fishy just from glancing and grepping some functions.
Where did you managed to find the source code ? Last I heard they aren't open-sourced yet ? Even if you went through the source, you can't really know what's going on until you understand the encrypting functions. If possible, please give a link to source code.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Problem with ICO on: August 07, 2017, 11:12:24 AM
I personally think that letting the value of a coin fall below the ICO price is a big problem in a ICO. developers should do something about it they always reason that it is because of bounty hunters dumping their coin but for me that isn't a good excuse especially for the investors.
They should just cut the bounties instead and pay the participants with bitcoins. This looks difficult in the beginning but after the ICO is over, coin will actually have a real value instead of bounty whores dumping it all over the trading exchanges.

For me The value of a coin or a token is a developer's responsibility, they should do anything to maintain the the price close or even above to ICO price,  because this will be a factor for the investors to get tired in investing they would rather prefer to invest after ICO when the price drastically falls down.
Developer can't do much but develop the idea.Promotion and marketing also plays a key role in a successful launch of a coin.
