Dumped 80% of bcc. Holding 20% cause of my own fomo What's a fomo ? You should have dumped the remaining 20% as well. You don't know the lows future beholds for you. Even if bitcoin cash has bitcoin in its name it is a different coin, at some point when we get the correction on the market I do not see why bitcoin cash would go up a lot, more people will buy Ethereum or Litecoin or another promising coins before they buy bitcoin cash.
People just converted their BCC for some free money. No one's really interested in buying a coin which takes forever to confirm and has handful of miners.Ethreum has reached a point of no return. It's dying.Look at the prices, they haven't shown any progress since ages.

FOMO = Fear of missing out. Basically not wanting to use 10k bitcoin for a pizza, then finding out 7 years later the pizza cost you 40 mio USD @HardFireMiner: I'm very curious (or skeptical you could say) whether the exchangerate will stay as stable as it has been so far, when a lot of people jump ships with their hashrate.

Every percent of hashing power switched to BCH is crucial and very important, BTC will freeze when more than 10% of hashing power will switch. From that, to swap between them are just 2 weeks, I think it began now, when profitability of BCH rose so much, and the truth is, I expected it to fall bellow 100$ before the Rise, but it is much stronger, has too many supporters, and was unable to drop so much to discard the unbelievers. Please reply in 15 days to discuss it then.

In the beginning, i don't have any hope on this BCH that's why I dumped in the market when I get those. Still, it is unpredictable in the market many whales are trading this coin for the beneficial purpose only. The market will decide whether to consider BCH or not in future.

Yes. And the difficulty adjusts tomorrow, so it might be even more profitable to mine bitcioincash from Saturday around noon. The question is: will miners switch?

A 10% switch will cause real problems for bitcoin - delays in blocks being mined, huge mempools. I wonder if the price of BTC will then drop?

You see, it will be difficult to drop, or rise, my prediction is it will freeze totally, the price and the blockchain. There will always be some BTC miners, there will always be Bitcoin, it will be used for something else - to store value, the transaction will take weeks or months, but it will pass someday, for sure. Actually, I predict BTC to rise as well after a huge drop, but it is not happening now, so we will talk about it when it will happen. For what we use BTC today, we will use BCH instead.

Let’s not exaggerate I know that a lot of people on the forum do not like Ethereum but to say that the coin has not showed progress in ages is not true, the all time high was in the middle of June of this year, a coin cannot skyrocket every month, not even bitcoin can do that.

For now I'm still playing BCC so I can get the maximum benefit because the price of BCC is now up and down and very potential to rise.

BCC has turned into a good altcoin for trading, it has a lot of pumpers behind it and it is advertised a lot. and with all these dumps the swings are amazing and you can short it if you like or you can buy before the pumps and dump it after a 80-120% rise happened for a huge profit.

Holding still everything that I got when bitcoin cash was created. I am not planing to sell. I did not have those coins before the fork, so I was not calculating with them in any way. Maybe they surprise me some day, then I will feel glad not having sold. And if they should vanish in the big ocean of low priced altcoins, then at least I have not lost anything.

Bitcoin isn't freezing, it's dropping. Was over $4300 yesterday, but is now below $4100. Granted that is just a 5% move, but it may move more if the miners start switching.

I had a few out of my BTC with Poloniex a few days ago when they opened it. It was at 0.12B at the moment, I put a 0.18B sell order. They now are all gone, free money I want to see where the price will go when every BTC holders who don't care in it will have sell them.
