Our own mistakes? By putting our XVG in CCEX? Maybe you're not in our position now. Maybe someday you'll have the same experience with your "trusted" exchange somewhere. Let's see if you're gonna say the same thing.

Here's the thing, in my case I put my XVG back in the end of Dec 2017, and then suddenly the wallet was in maintenance, meanwhile the owner/dev was going to have a nice holiday for a month long without nobody take care of the exchange.

When they returned somewhere around Jan 20 2018 they said they were going to fix it immediately. A month after they said they lost all of XVG in the wallet due to "technical issues". So, they created this token so called "XVGCT" which is not withdraw-able nor tradeable anywhere else swapped 1:1 for XVG that been lost. And they said they're going to buy them with btc at the market price.

After more than 2 months of uncertainty and fear of losing their investment I think it's natural when people want to get out from there asap as there's no other option. Massive selloff would only help the price to go one way down.

If buying at the current market value of XVG is what they mean, why don't they offer instant trade with current XVG market value instead?

By buying at a very low price now and hoping the price goes up, will only means lost big part of the investment for the customers and PROFIT for the owner/dev!

The owner/dev simply don't know how to be responsible at all! Amazing! Still trying to profiting from desperate customers.

Yes, you can profiting from this situation too, by buying at this price, I agree it's easy to understand, IF you're willing to live with the facts about XVGCT. But if put yourself in the victims shoes, will you be willing to wait more months with more uncertainty until the price goes up?

Why in the world don't they just offer some apology to the victims and offer a full refund. A FULL AMOUNT OF XVG for each victim that been lost instead of this snake move?

Show your responsibility instead of keep ignoring people!

1. Whether it was a technical glitch, hacked, or stolen by one of your staff or anything else DOES NOT have anything to do with US customers! Our XVG was there in wallet provided by you that you supposed to take care of and now it's suddenly gone. Yes, is it fully YOUR responsibility!

2. By exchanging our XVG to XVGCT (a token you created yourself, no wd or traded anywhere possible) and then buying them with btc with much much lower, means you ARE NOW PROFITING FROM THIS CASE! That's laughable. You think your customers are idiots, huh?

3. There's only one solution for this, REFUND our XVG (not XVGCT) in full amount or BTC equivalent immediately. Show your responsibility.

Kl boleh ikut menyumbang masukan, terutama buat para pemula saya sarankan jangan / hindari yang namanya Day Trading / Trading harian, karena jenis trading ini justru malah lebih berbahaya dlm artian resikonya tinggi sekali dan akan sangat sulit untuk mengatur emosi. Manajemen modal harus ada, seperti yg OP sampaikan, tapi metode juga penting. Pelajari coin2 nya, riset dan telusuri history harga, projectnya coin itu sendiri, dan banyak aspek lainnya dulu sblm terjun.

Don't lose your spirit that would I suggest you, everyone in the crypto world or in any of paper money trading would experience that feeling in many occasions. Just keep doing what you do, if you'd be willing to invest more, then the time is right nowadays most of the alts are down. Just hold them until you get to break even at least, or if I were you I'd be holding them until I saw profits. Patience is key here.

I don't think that bitcoin will ever replace fiat currency for daily transaction medium, because there are a lot of aspects to be agreed and bitcoin itself would need an institutional backing, I mean legally to control all of it's economy aspects. And that only would against bitcoin's main purpose to be decentralized and also anonymous in every transaction.

Maklum gan banyak yg ngejar jumlah post jadi boro2 deh baca isi threadnya. Ane setuju sama ilmu yg di share OP kl headroom dibutuhkan supaya menjaga efisiensi psu tetap berada di level yang tinggi, sehingga ga banyak

listrik yg kebuang sia2 yang bikin tagihan jadi lebih boros. Sedikit nambahin OP pentingnya juga memilih PSU dgn tier yang baik 1 atau 2, yang mana level efisiensinya tinggi (minimal gold ke atas) dan power yg dihasilkan

juga pure sama atau mendekati dari spesifikasi kapasitasnya. Dan juga psu tier2 tsb juga sudah teruji daya tahannya apalagi utk pemakaian 24/7 makanya rata2 garansi manufakturnya mereka berani lama2 bahkan ada yg

sampai 10 tahun. Plus poin lagi, beli psu dgn merek2 ternama walaupun lebih mahal tapi jg bisa jadi investasi jangka panjang, mksdnya harganya relatif stabil dan ga jatuh krn terlindung garansi yg super lama tadi.

Memang menurut saya pemerintah juga sulit untuk membendung kepercayaan masyarakat akan crypto khususnya bitcoin. Sentimen negatif oleh pakar2 ekonomi belakangan sekedar mengingatkan kita sih sebenernya kl memang bitcoin ga pernah akan bisa jadi alat tukar resmi di Indonesia. Tapi kl mau investasi, melakukan exchange, atau trading ya boleh2 aja cuman juga diingatkan resiko nya ini besar sekali, jadi nanti jgn salahin dan ngadu ke pemerintah rame2 ya kl pada rugi. Lha wong udah diingetin.

Hati-hati kl ikutan airdrop yang meminta segala yg berhubungan dengan private key agan. Banyak kok airdrop yang bagus dan hasilnya juga menguntungkan. Salah satunya DeepOnion gan, tiap minggu rutin dpt airdrop tanpa embel2 private key. Cuma perlu daftar dan aktif aja di forum. Kl mau tau banyak bisa klik signature saya gan.

Untuk mining dengan pendapatan yang optimal dan stabil perlu koneksi internet yang stabil juga gan. Ga perlu kenceng2 amat yang penting stabil, ping stabil, speed stabil, dan koneksi juga ga putus2. Kl pakai modem cek dulu lokasi agan disitu koneksinya gimana?kl naik turun, saya saranin mending langganan internet provider aja, ga perlu yg mahal2 yang paling murah aja cukup. Dari pada repot dan hasil jg ga maksimal.

To my knowledge there isn't any laws in Islam that clearly forbid the existence of bitcoin whether as an investment asset or as a medium of exchange. Bitcoin can be viewed like a like as any of fiat currency in the world.
Though some muslim's scholars are still debating because the lack of government behind the currency as bitcoin is a self governed currency. In Islam everything must be transparent and in order to avoid any fraud or any other crimes it must ensure that it can be trusted by the community. And also some scholars are debating about the lack of intrinsic value of bitcoin. But in this regard, fiat currency does not have any intrinsic value being only a printed paper. So, I think as time goes by more people will believe in this project and bitcoin can be an alternative medium of exchange in life or an interesting option for investing.

If Bitcoin is to be a universal digital currency, it needs an intrinsic value that a currency must have. At least it'd need somebody or an international institution to ensure its user that bitcoin is not going to die soon or to be left by its dev's and many more reasons. But it will against its original purpose of anonymity in transaction and as a self governed currency.

Yes, bitcoin can be a medium of exchange like fiat in some places, but that only means from one trustee to another. We are not going to see our grandpa walks to the convenience store and buy some drinks with bitcoin any time soon. And to date Bitcoin price is much more of a trust price from its user globally, so I would call it an asset as for an investment.

So, I don't think bitcoin is going to replace any of fiat currency in any country soon, it's a very good alternative investment asset though.

Lebih baik yang modal pas-pasan tapi jalan daripada yang punya skill tapi mentalnya gratisan. Mau ada hasilnya ya pake usaha. Jangan mintanya dimodalin doang, orang model kayak gini biasanya sulit untuk berhasil walaupun dikasih modal milyaran.

Saran saya, kl sudah punya skill, perbaiki dulu mentalnya. Buat yg lain jangan mau senasib sama orang model2 gini. Tukang parkir ga punya skill apa2 aja bisa punya hasil dari modal mulutnya yang aba2in mobil orang.

There are many altcoins that are worth hodling. To make sure I'd keep researching about certain coins of my targets and monitoring the progress of their projects. You need to know who's behind the project, the team itself along with their behavior in the forum. Also worth noting the community who's mining or trading this coin, marketcap and trade volume number can be a good object to monitor.

Yang paling menguntungkan menurut tiap orang akan berbeda-beda pendapat. Karena yang namanya investasi ada yang namanya resiko. Tiap orang akan beda2 dalam menyikapi resiko. Basic rule nya sih makin tinggi resiko nya, biasanya makin tinggi kemungkinan profitnya. Ga percaya?

Contoh :

Emas (Gold) : Salah satu investasi yg paling aman. Kenapa?Dari jaman pra sejarah emas udah dipake sebagai alat tukar dan perhiasan. Jadi sangat sangat kecil kemungkinannya emas tiba2 ga ada harganya alias 0. Tapi disisi lain harga emas dalam beberapa tahun terakhir cenderung stagnan atau berkutat di angka itu2 aja. Saya pegang emas batangan dari 2011 sampai hari ini harganya cm naik 50rb/gr dari saat beli dulu.

Bitcoin : Di waktu yg sama btc dulu lg murah2nya dan sepi peminat, dikhawatirkan akan crashed lah, bubar lah, dll. Bahkan sampai skr banyak orang yg ragu kl invest di bitcoin, bisa tiba2 0 ga ya. Yes, resiko besar, tapi profit juga besar.

So kesimpulannya, kl bicara mau investasi, hitung dulu dan pertimbangkan risk reward ratio nya sesuaikan dgn diri masing2. Jangan sampai kebawa nafsu atau yg parah adalah latah alias ikut2an trend doang. Ya kl situ milyuner sih boleh2 aja sih.

This kind of behavior is not only happened here on BCT forum, but everywhere in the world. When somebody feels his knowledge, wealth or experience more than others, there's this tendency to be harsh or trolling towards others who he thinks have lower capacity than his, whether it's rank, knowledge, wealth or experience as I said earlier.

But I think there's still some decency here specifically in this forum, that some people do want to help or share their knowledge. I agree when newbies ask questions that already been answered over and over again is quite annoying and tend to be ignored, because it's shows that those people came here only for quick "free" lesson, they don't want to do their research or click more pages to read. Meanwhile those senior members have been here for years helping this forum to alive and updated.

If you want to know some basic knowledge, make sure you did your own research at least and gather as much as information you need before you ask. Google can be your best friend and there's search feature as well here. And never ask for something like "what's the best coin to mine now?" or "what's the most profitable coin of this algo?" this shows that the person is lazy to do his research while all the information is already there and wants "free" information, I would personally ignored this type of question.

Other than that, just ignore the trolls and bully, don't let them makes you feel bad. Just keep doing what you want to do here and keep positive. There's still good people here.
