27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitland - ICO - Decentralized Land Registry on: June 06, 2016, 06:46:42 PM
I am going to leave one last message.
If Bitland remains on open ledger and omni wallet only. It will fail from lack of exposure.
There ARE things the Dev can do without any community help to get on other exchanges but this is only if the dev is willing to and without costing even 0.01 BTC.
We will see what is done, rest is up to you dev. Please remember that dev is responsible for the project, not the community. Community is here to support you not do things for you, we already gave you BTC is that not enough? If you give me BTC I will do your job for you.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitland - ICO - Decentralized Land Registry on: June 06, 2016, 06:40:29 PM
I understand the need to be user friendly, and have said this repeated times.

I am not sure that people are understanding what the project is about vs. what we need to focus on.

If we have a partner through which we are selling Cadastrals, and all I receive is repeated requests from the same people that "we won't tell anyone about this until you change portals", then I can't really have anything to work with there.

It has to be a give and take.  We can't get on another exchange without getting more funds into the Omni portal.

If you're telling me we can't get more funds into the Omni portal without getting on another exchange, then we are at an impasse.

Again, I guess if you want to see Cadastrals on Poloniex, you should tweet at the Poloniex people.  I cannot do anything about their decisions, as I have nothing to do with deciding who gets on their exchange.

I wish I were a genie, but as many times as someone asks me to get on another exchange, there are only a couple ways to do it:

Either YOU ALL make enough noise and get them to pay attention

or

We raise more funds through Omni portal and eventually buy our way onto Bittrex

It is fairly simple.

As of now, the focus of the project is "the project".  Not "getting on another exchange".  So again, please understand, this project is about "the project".

We will do everything within our power to get on another exchange as soon as possible, but as many times as someone repeatedly asks, I cannot make magic.

These things take time.

Chris

poloniex will not add this. you are fixated on BTC for exchange. LOTS of coins have gone to bittrex and other exchanges and paid 0 BTC. If you talk to bittrex people, they will work with you. If you do not, then that is your loss. Yes community can help. You can do some very easy things to help to like talk to bittrex but you won't.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitland - ICO - Decentralized Land Registry on: June 06, 2016, 05:46:08 PM
Hello everyone,

First off, let me thank everyone who participated in Phases 1, and 2 of Bitland ICO.  We are glad that there are people who believed in the project enough to support us with a little over $38k USD!  That is a tremendous help when it comes to crowd funding efforts.  Many people donated various amounts, even down to $.08, which is $.08 that we appreciate just the same as anything else.  When it comes to getting a crowd to do something together, even something as simple as a pick-up game of basketball can be difficult to see to completion.  At this point, we have gained support from a group of people who are looking to help Bitland bring land right protection to disenfranchised areas.

The first thing we are going to do is sign a 3 year lease in Ghana on a building in a semi-rural area that is on the outskirts of Kumasi.  The first Ghana center is going to be in between so that the benefits of the outskirts of local infrastructure becomes the starting point, rather than going head first into the most rural areas.

The center will hopefully be up and running within the next two months.  As we work towards getting the first center equipped to handle the pilot, we will be approaching other regions and other countries to start pilot projects in other areas to test different parts of the protocol before combining everything.  In addition, we will be promoting the Omni portal as the source of purchasing new Cadastrals to get onto the market.

Currently there are only about 44,000 Cadastrals for sale on the open market.  That means the other 600,000 that people are sitting on, they aren't even THINKING about selling right now.

So, I would start telling your friends about the Omni Portal if you are part of the community and want to see Bitland succeed.

omniwallet.org/assets/details/62

Again, thanks for the support!

Cheers!

Chris

i tried telling people and they do not like open ledger and omni wallet because it is not user friendly. if you want people to support bitland you need presence somewhere else. Omni and open ledger is almost 0 presence. as long as bitland is only on omni and open ledger, it will not get more public support.

2 - We have 5M $CAB in a secured paper wallet that we have announced a few times and 499999.99999999 in our QT. POB is not on the market or in any exchange wallets.
And some 1 763 939CAB for sale on coinexchange.io Whom do those coins belong to?

YES. You are correct about CE there were 10499999.99999999 $CAB Pre-Minted many were giving in size to devs/exchange/marketers and sold cheap to help with initial build all will attest to it. There are 5M $CAB in free hands as of this moment. The 5499999.99999999 is banked for POB.

YW!

P.S. I will not even entertain the individuals comment in below post. Will edit our road map to reflect correction from blockchain to block explorer. Jimmy

There are 5M $CAB in free hands as of this moment. You added this later. Nice try hiding your scam coin dev

No I edited the message about your idiotic comment. I spelled it 'entertainment' instead of 'entertain'. Either way if I edited it or not the information is public for those to decide what to do with $CAB. You have trolled this camp since day one if users scroll our main thread. However, I wish you luck in whatever it is you do? NO $CAB bounty for you! 99% of your posts spread negativity and destruction like cabbage moths eating valuable crops.

i dont want your 100% pre mined scam coin Cool

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cabbage/

burning 50%? So all CAB is worth only 5 BTC  Grin Grin Grin You spent $300,000? You LOST $295,000! Only scam coins go to 5 BTC for entire supply.

you forced me as a cab holder to sign onto this forum cause you are ignorant! first, if i am correct you are the Banksy Coin dev? why you scream scam every time you post cause your a scammer dev yourself. Banksy Coin was and is a scam i spoke with a rouge pumper you paid to pump awhile back. anyone in crypto who knows crypto is aware that mcap is manipulated and not accurate at all. mcap is based on units available multiplied by current exchange rate if someone put .50 bitcoin into $CAB the price would break 300 sats and mcap would register as triple but not true. you don't know this most likely why Banksy Coin died a quick and miserable death. you say $CAB spent $300k and lost 295k. another bad call by a uneducated dev dummy! "ALLOCATED" not "SPENT" in simple terms it means "EARMARKED" stupid. so they didn't spend nothing or lose anything as of yesterday they announced the allocation of their capital raise. so your accusations are without merit and you should be taking out to the wood shed for an old fashioned ass whooping you keyboard gangster. your coin Banksy failed because your a bitter and miserable failure of a human being. god help you young child your parents must be proud or did dad run to the store for milk and never return? is that what this is about? your feeling lonely and abandoned young Banksy? anyhow you suck go hide under the rock your troll ass climbed out from you spineless worm. stop trolling other developments and take some responsibility for your own maggot. smart money knows that their proof of burn will cut unit count by over 50% in turn decreasing supply in turn raising mcap because less shares means less dilution allowing higher exchange rate which would build mcap significantly. understand what your investing you might want to start by buying the dictionary of finance so you understand the basics kiddo. finance is a game of men not boys as you so often prove you are. get a job and out of moms basement it's time little bear. #banksyclown

Agreed! Go clean up your own back yard banksman.

Cab is next level fintech you know nothing about.

You are still stuck in the wolong days man talking like a pirate.

Crypto has advanced from trolling most involved stuck it out and did not fail like banksy coin dude.

Tell your story walking palsy.

you are funny. i am dev for no coins. i exposed many scam coins though!

You guys are crazy if you think because the dev made a previous coin that acted like all the other alt coins do and pumped and then died and so this coin is a bad coin. First it is better to have a dev with some experience, learned why the previous coin didn't last long, knows how to market it, get exchanges, make a nice working wallet, fair launch, etc. You are saying you want some newb dev that screws all those things up? Use your brain, I see this coin going higher. WHY?

1)Dev is doing things right so far
2)A few very good pools chose to mine GB
3)Hashrate has been good
4)Reward structure and POS structure is good
5)A lot of people from IRC and twitter that usually do well with alts are mining it.

Oh crap, did I just give away my 5 secrets of what makes a coin worth mining?
Exchanges will see this and they will come.

and it will end like devs last coin
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: GOLDBLOCKS x11 [pow/pos] ►► UNMODERATED on: June 02, 2016, 11:16:25 PM
That coin didn't fail, wasn't it was trading at 4k sats before it got dumped?  now it's dead, obviously, as are other coins that were funny/cool like SilkCoin.

That's a good thing for his next project...I'm just expecting a quick pump and dump...what are your expectations?

Sorry if I came off hostile. You didn't lie, I thought it was gonna be an all caps thing. Let's discuss this in a civil manner. I want to know more about what the developer did. Did he scam anyone ever? If so, that would suck.

Otherwise, his new project, will be a little get some BTC and will pass in a month. I see no problem with that. I'm tied to BTC, not to any project of his. But I'm mining it because I like rollercoasters, and so do all the people in the thread.

Trying to hide your past by deleting posts is sketchy, yeah. But maybe the guy has some mental issues or PTSD with his other project failing, it doesn't have to necessarily be nefarious if he is deleting your replies. You are triggering his trauma, few know how to stay calm and cool in the face of danger. Most of us like to run away from our past.

Anyway, what's up with you? Any more info on anything? Thanks for bringing this to light, more knowledge is always good.   Smiley

ido not know what happened. i just took a look at goldblocks and saw that the dev has made a gold coin before and now it does not exist. if he did a good job then it should still be around... it is not easy to kill a coin to completely 0... it is weird that dev is hiding his past

First, the title is spelled wrong implying you are emotional or FUDing

Lots of devs have different projects, some fail, some don't.

how is wrong spelling emotional or fuding? did i lie? i just made a spelling mistake.

Is Omni accepts USD only?

Tether, which you can get on OpenLedger or Omnidex.

On Omni portal, it has to be a single fixed token, and we chose "Tether" because it is pegged to USD.

Chris

Chris this is a suggestion. You need an easier way to access cadastral. Omni and openledger are not used and no one likes it because it is difficult.

I have said multiple times that Bitland will be developing its own standalone UX.  I guess people who keep complaining about the same issues especially concerning trading tokens seem not to be concerned with the actual success of the project, so I have a hard time understanding why this keeps coming up from the same people.

Chris

no, you are looking very one sided... open ledger and omni are harder to use so not many people use them. If you are on an exchange that people use then it is publicity for your project. What is wrong with being on an exchange that anyone can access? Make it easy to buy cadastral and people are more likely to buy it. If it is harder then people are less likely. This is very basic logic.
RIght now if i come to you and say how do i get cadastral? you will say go to omni or openledger. if i do not know computers very well i will go and be like this is confusing, maybe not.

Land registration have big valuable , truly usable. Now I see CADASTRAL is success issue by Bitland.

I want to buy more more token, So waiting the 2nd ICO to buy ,... Thank you , Chris.

Absolutely!  Land registration is one of the biggest sources of potential capital expansion for the entire globe.

You can purchase Cadastrals through the Omni portal

The tokens will increase in value at a 2% weekly rate.

The open market tokens are not being sold from Bitland, and the Omni portal is the official Bitland sale.

Chris

when will you send me my cadastrals?
