nomadcrypto made PHP integration to Ethereum blockchain for me. Fast development and so simple and clean code. Will definitely use him again.

Thanks for the vouch!

Ordered a smart contract to be coded in Solidity with a quite complicated structure. Despite that, he was able to get it done in under 24 hours. Of course, I had tons of questions along the way as a student and he was happy to answer all of them. Even weeks after the deal he never refused to dedicate his time to me to help me with my other projects. Overall, I strongly suggest nomadcrypto for any projects related to coding, he will get the job done quicker and more professionally than anyone else.

thanks for the awesome vouch!
23  Economy / Services / [For Hire] nodejs/javascript,solidity,python,machine learning and linux sysadmin on: March 25, 2019, 10:27:18 PM
I am a competent developer with experince in nodejs/javascript, python, solidity and machine learning as well as over 10 years experince using linux as my main OS. Over the years I've completed several projects for people here in forums ranging from small php code(not my prefered language) to etherum smart contracts. I've had several freelance posts previously but they were for specific languages/tasks. This post is meant to be a general post covering my abilities as a developer.  I can do just about anything one would need done in any of the languages I've listed here. I've recently started cleaning up some older code(adding documentation+tests) and releasing the code opensource. You can view examples of my work here: https://github.com/nomadcrypto

A few examples of my previous work:
NameLanguageGithubDescription
SeededRSAjavascripthttps://github.com/nomadcrypto/seededrsaGenerates RSA keys based on a bip39 seed phrase
OrbitDB Walletjavascripthttps://github.com/nomadcrypto/orbit-db-walletA wallet for OrbitDB and RSA Keys. Also includes a bip44 based password manager/generator for websites
MultiWalletsolidityhttps://github.com/nomadcrypto/multiwalletA multi-token and multi-user wallet contract with support for ETH, ERC20 and ERC721 tokens. Intended to be used as a base contract for projects like exchanges, auction sites, or even for other contracts which want a simple interface for managing tokens

All freelance projects that are more than say 20-30 minutes worth of work for me will get their own private github repo where the client can post issues, view the source, etc. I offer unlimted future bug support assuming the bug was caused by me, an updated dependency, or something of that nature. In general I try to be very responsive to current, future and past client needs/issues and try to have response times of 1 hour or less during normal US business hours. I can generally drop everything for critical issues.

I can also be made available for on-call sysadmin type issues. Meaning I can implement monitoring for your services that will notifiy me of any outages 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

I have nearly 100 private repos on github that I will over time clean up and make public. I can provide more examples for potential clients in the mean time if needed. Some of the things I have experince working with that may be of interest to this community:
  • custom merchant solutions for recieving crypto payments(python, node, php, or ruby)
  • custom javascript based crypto wallets(for web and nodejs)
  • custom solidity based smart contracts and standard contracts such as ERC20, ERC721, etc
  • dapps using IPFS/orbitdb and solidity
  • interaction with just about any kind of api(nodejs or python)
  • bash shell scripting
  • custom bots/crawlers for just about any site(nodejs or python)
  • machine learning with sklearn and keras(natural language processing, image/text classification, anomaly detection, etc) - previous examples comming soon
  • project management - I can manage teams of developers for larger projects
  • Penetration testing and application fuzzing

If I don't have it listed that doesn't mean I can't do it. Post or PM with details about your project and then I can tell you if it is something I can do or am interested in doing. I can work as part of a team or solo and as always escrow is welcomed and encouraged.

I can accept payment in just about any larger market cap cryptocurrency/token.

Hi,

I'm a bit short paying for a server for a project I'm working on and need to borrow ~$40 in btc until the 1st of April(~8 days). I've completed many trades and freelance projects here over the past few years and  without any issues.  There will be no issues when it comes time to repay the loan. 31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Betting Information on: March 22, 2019, 06:03:57 PM
If you took the time to look you would find nearly identical threads in that board but none in this one. I'm not sure why a mod hasn't moved this already but regardless of if you call it a service or not it is gambling related and it should be in the gambling discussion board with the rest of the identical posts.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Betting Information on: March 19, 2019, 05:37:22 PM
This should be moved to the gambling discussion board here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=228.0 . You can do that clicking the link at the bottom left labeled "move topic". There is also a lot more than that wrong with this post like the fact that you never mention your win rate. As a noob the only way you'll get people to use your service is by somehow establishing a public record of your win rate. For example you post 50-100+ free picks over time and have a positive roi. As a mathematically minded person I'd be fairly doubtful even at 100 public picks unless they had a phenominal win rate. The variance on a small sample like 50-100 means that even a losing handicaper can show a profit over that small of a sample.
33  Economy / Services / Re: Paying someone to make work my proxy server on my Virtual Machine on: March 18, 2019, 04:48:19 AM
Hello.

I tried to install a proxy server on my Linux virtual machine (Squid, tinyproxy) however I can't get it working.

I'm paying someone 10$ (Bitcoin, Litecoin, Skrill, Paypal...) to show me how to make it work.

Please send me a private message.

if you are connecting from a computer to this proxy you could just use ssh tunnels. From a linux host you could ssh -D 9000 user@host.tld(or ip of vps). If you are on a windows system you could use putty like they describe here https://blog.devolutions.net/2017/4/how-to-configure-an-ssh-tunnel-on-putty. After that you've got a socks proxy on your local machine on port 9000 or whatever port you want. Squid is a pain to setup and secure so unless you have a specific reason for it I would just use ssh tunnels.

edit
there are most likely decent ssh apps for most mobile devices(like juicessh for android) that support the ssh feature  "dynamic port forwarding" that is being used above to setup a local socks proxy.

Thank you but I need a proxy not a SSH.

Offer raised to 20$.

What I described is a proxy. It is a socks proxy using ssh which is already installed on your vps. In the example I provided the port 9000 would be opened on your local system and then in whatever application you are using you set the proxy to socks5 and 127.0.0.1:9000

36  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [Hiring] Need someone to send me PayPal: 5% commission on top on: March 10, 2019, 06:37:14 PM
you should move this thread to the currency exchange board here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0. You can do that by clicking "move topic" at the bottom left hand side of this page.

Also be very wary of accepting paypal because you can get chargebacks 180+ days after the trade. Most escrows here wont even escrow paypal trades because there is no way they can protect the traders beyond  making sure the payment was sent before sending the coins. If you do this I highly recommend you find a trader with green trust and a track record of having made paypal payments without chargebacks.

The fundamental reason why all martingale-type betting systems fail is that no amount of information about the results of past bets can be used to predict the results of a future bet with accuracy better than chance. In mathematical terminology, this corresponds to the assumption that the win-loss outcomes of each bet are independent and identically distributed random variables, an assumption which is valid in many realistic situations. It follows from this assumption that the expected value of a series of bets is equal to the sum, over all bets that could potentially occur in the series, of the expected value of a potential bet times the probability that the player will make that bet. In most casino games, the expected value of any individual bet is negative, so the sum of lots of negative numbers is also always going to be negative.

The martingale strategy fails even with unbounded stopping time, as long as there is a limit on earnings or on the bets (which is also true in practice).[1] It is only with unbounded wealth, bets and time that it could be argued that the martingale becomes a winning strategy.

40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lessons from poker on: February 26, 2019, 08:33:24 PM
if someone wants to be successful today in poker there are a few things that are really important. Poker isn't as easy now as was it was 5+ years ago and it is continuing to get harder. A successful poker player needs to have a solid understanding of range theory, understand where they are currently within their range, and then understand how to adjust those ranges based on opponent actions. In general there are two main schools of thought when it comes to successful poker playing: "GTO"(game theory optimal) vs "exploitative". There are tools and tricks(like solving smaller sub-games) that can approximate a gto strategy for no limit texas holdem. If it were really optimal then the best an opponent could hope to do long term is to break even against you. Exploitative is, in my opinon, where a player understands the fundamentals of gto game and can estimate how far, and where, an opponent is from optimal. They then make what would be a mistake against an optimal player in order to take advantage of recurring errors in a less optimal player's playing habits(e.g. they fold/call too often in certain situations).  In addition to solid fundamentals of range theory they need to practice fairly strict bankroll management. There are a ton of variance calculators available where you can enter your expected win rate and then it will show you how large swings can be. Even a good poker player with bad money management skills will go broke on a regular basis. It requires skill and self control to be a long term winning poker player.
