Development fund progress tracker. 21% of the goal achieved in less than 24 hours! Great start!  One critical piece of the outlined 2017 road-map is to put in place a self funding mechanism for continued development. The current plan is to create a 10k superblock at the time of the hardfork occurring in August/September to be used for a dev operated BPN from which interest earnings would fuel ongoing CBX development, advertising, etc. However, this is not ideal as it could potentially create an issue with exchange listing policies or negative perception/issues for investors. Resultant to this, it has been suggested to create a donation address to gather these funds from the community. In response to this suggestion the below address has been created to accept donations. The goal is 10k CBX. We will report periodically on progress towards the goal. Happy 4th Anniversary!
I have been running the 2.4.3 QT on a windows 8.1 computer.
I have had to move it to a Windows Home Server 2011 computer.
Installed the wallet and move the bootstrap and wallet over and all was fine, synced and staking. When I returned to check on things, the wallet had crashed.
Upon restart, I receive the following error via Windows dialog box:

So, Using the above link, I no longer get the encryption error from Mega. I successfully downloaded CBX Tool When I run it, I get an error from Windows Home Server in a dialog box: ----------------------------------------- C:\Users\Administrator\Downloads\CBX Tool.exe Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service. ----------------------------------------- I tried again first thing after rebooting the machine, I still get this error on a clean boot of the machine. I tried running it as Administrator to no avail. Please give me some other suggestions. All OS updates are current. Sorry you are getting a bit of a runaround here. I assume you have downloaded the bootstrap from OP and replaced the corresponding files in the CBX roaming folder? |

just saw that Yobit CBX Wallet is synchronized and withdrawals are enabled !
Not sure, last week it was sync to the last block too and the wd page looked like was ok but when i tried wd for real, was not working Can we please get confirmation on Yobit (working vs not working)? Yobit has a higher trading volume than Cryptopia so knowing we are operational there would be a big plus. Thanks guys  |

So, the blocks generated are lost blocks? Or, will they "come to life" once I have the entire blockchain downloaded?
You will have to sync the blockchain before your Vault starts attempting to stake your funds. After the sync, it began staking successfully. Thanks again for your assistance. Good deal, thanks for the update and the network support. |

This thread have 181 pages but now it is becoming too silent. Maybe dev or community should think something that make CBX great again?  Why not restart signature post bounty campIgn from 2016? Yes, it would be best! But the founder sleeps ...: / I already offered my support, I even invest in CBX in a future if he starts to work ... Who is the founder, who else are current dev team? Was there a take over in the past, or same people from 2013? I am the founder, still here and wide awake. Current dev team is listed on the website. Check my recent postings to this thread for the current status. Maintaining a crypto project is not just keeping the best portfolio, the best algorithm, and maintaining a website. To make a crypto project successful it is necessary to give a use to the cryptomoneda. That is the main problem of a cryptocurrency, which does not have a use. That's why I think of a merchants' market. A market of xchange where CBX is the main market. A betting site, an investor site, which can be included in an online wallet. Crowdfunding using CBX. And much more... The community will begin to grow ever since ... These ideas are all on the development list plus much more, however this takes funding and dev contributions. Elambert made a call out to the community as he has done several times in the past and no one has stepped forward yet to contribute. I am confident we will get there but it seems the funding and dev time has to come from the core team so we move at that pace. Thank you for the input, it is always appreciated! |

From what I have gathered, the sale of the Cryptsy coins has occurred in agreement and distribution should be in about a month. I personally communicated with the party handling the sale and it sounds like the purchaser of CBX bought a bundle of the low liquidity coins. What this individual intends is yet to be identified but they will now be the largest stake holder in CBX (outside of the escrow for SPK).

I agree, BTER voting is a dead end unfortunately. Cryptomic needs to come off the list aswell since it is no longer up. Also can anyone who has not done so already please head over to https://c-cex.com/?id=vote and add their vote for CBX. Cryptomic has been replaced on the OP by NovaExchange - however the image for Nova is not being accepted by BCT for some reason. If someone wants to provide a image link that works, I will replace it. The other images are from imgur so not sure why the Nova one is having an issue. |

I think you will have to keep them, because there are no buyers of CBX now. I agree, there's no market for CBX now, just HODL. I will keep staking my wallet and hope for the best. CBX fundamentals are still really good, and with a start date of 2013 it's one of the oldest coins still going. If a resolution to the 124k cryptsy coins can be found, and the dumping whales hold fire, I think the future for CBX is still strong. We just need to hold on through this difficult time, and keep the chain and network running smoothly. Yes.. Keep network running well, and having a market is not an issue. Hibernation for price is good in one way. It breaks with the past. If and when a new market begins (after a long hibernation) price will be freshly set . Thank you for the feedback. Would be nice if some of the investors and interested parties assist in supporting the service.
