BUMP

If it's easier I can put the USB miner in a regular envelope, wrap it really good, and send it out for the cost of a stamp but that's means there wouldn't be any tracking or insurance.

Where are you shipping from? There are a few things I'm interested in bidding on, but I'd rather not end up paying 5x as much as the item for shipping.
Good question and I can't believe I forgot to mention it in the beginning but I'm shipping from the US.

Can you list the shipping costs please?
I'll be shipping using USPS priority. You can go here (http://postcalc.usps.com/) and figure out shipping costs if you're outside of US. My zip code is 12434, if you're in US the shipping cost will be $5.60 for a small flat rate envelope.

Do you have 2 windows in the room? If you do, you can put 1 window fan in a window to bring in outside air and put a window fan in the other window to pull the hot air outside. I would also recommend adding 120mm fans to the end of your Ant's in a push-pull configuration and have the pull fans directing the heat towards your window fan that is exhausting the air.

Just a reminder to everyone that this first auction is only for a Block Erupter USB miner, each week I will be auctioning off a different item/combo of items from the list.

32  Other / Beginners & Help / Charity auction = Cheap ASIC's.... on: July 13, 2014, 08:16:11 PM
How does buying a small ASIC device for dirt cheap sound? Now how about if the bitcoin you spent on that device went to a worthy charity instead of lining a manufacturers' pocket? Sounds good to me too! I have decided to auction off all of my older mining hardware and give all the money to charity, you can check it out here.

Here's a copy/paste from the first auction listing--

Quote
I finally found an S1 for a price I'm happy with so I will be turning off all of my older hardware. I was just going to put this hardware in boxes and store them away but I thought it might be a better idea to hold an auction and give the money to charity.

Here is a comprehensive list of everything I will be auctioning--

39 USB Block Erupters (35 black, 4 red, all with the original cases)
1 Blue Fury 2 Gh/s USB miner
8 BFL Jalapenos (5-6 Gh/s each with usb cables, no psu)
5 Klondike K16's (5 Gh/s each with usb cable)
2 Block Erupter Cubes

Rules
1. I will run 1 auction per week (7 days)
2. Highest bidder wins item
3. Shipping is not included
4. Item will ship within 24 hours of receiving payment
5. I agree to use escrow if you feel it's a must
6. All items are currently hashing away in good condition but I offer no warranty
7. No overclocks or mods have been performed on any item

Each auction will have a different charity which will receive the funds.

So what are you waiting for? Head over there now and get a device and the pleasure of knowing your bitcoin is helping make the world a better place.

Welcome to Auction #1!!!

The winning bid for this auction will be donated to Bitcoin-Charity.org
The person with the highest bid as of 11:59:59pm EST on Sunday July 20, 2014 will win the auction.

1x black AsicMiner USB Block Erupter 336 Mh/s with case

I know it won't ROI, I know it's hashing power is pretty much useless in today's age of 500+ Gh/s devices, but it's still a fun little device for somebody who is just getting introduced to Bitcoin and wants to play around with CGMiner, BFGMiner, BitMinter, etc.

Starting bid is 0.0001BTC

I've had good success picking up hardware in the auction section but lately there's been too many domain posts and it turns me away from even looking through it anymore.

Thank God someone else feels this way!! The auction subcategory is a complete clusterfuck with all the domains being listed.
39  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] PS3 bundle with a bunch of stuff on: July 12, 2014, 10:58:34 PM
How much shipped in US? I don't let my kids touch my PS3 but I'd be interested in getting them their own depending on price.

What all are you looking for? Just PS3 + controllers? Or headset/games too?
I have no use for the bluetooth headset but everything else is good
40  Other / Off-topic / Re: Pick my next raffle giveaway on: July 12, 2014, 11:26:35 AM
This sounds like a fun idea! It's nice to have something new going on around here, it's like a breath of fresh air. If you ever need an escrow agent I'll be glad to assist.

PS- To the turd nugget screaming scam... How the fuck is he scamming? He's selling raffle tickets, somebody wins, the winner receives the item. Get your head out of your ass.
