861  Economy / Goods / Re: Maple Syrup [SPECIAL PROMO INSIDE] on: April 26, 2012, 12:04:25 AM
I checked my price sheet and the last time I updated it was back in mid March so BTC was a little higher than what it is now so I'll leave the prices as they are FOR NOW and take a hit just to help move some product since it's been pretty slow for a while.
what kind of pancake mix is it? Homemade or brand?
It's made at a mill up here in NY, the maple farm I purchase it from is a reseller.

Don't forget about the promotion that runs out in 5 days!! These are all fresh maple products that were produced late winter/early spring this year

So I'm almost out of maple sugar.  It's really good.

Have you updated the BTC/USD since coins started selling for over $5?

I'd like to order a 20oz container of the maple sugar and some Maple Peanut Brittle to California.
last time i updated price was a while ago, give me a few minutes all I'll correct the OP

No, but you can get a PCI to PCIe adapter that works fine... then you can run PCIe cards in your PCI slots.

I couldn't find any on Cablesaurus.com.  Got a source for these?

I have to say this thread has brought me a great deal of entertainment. One thing I've learned about people who claim they will commit suicide is that they usually don't, it's just a cry for attention. I'm not saying it's true 100% of the time but in most cases it is. It seems as if Atlas, Jon, etc. craves attention and this was another attempt at getting it.

871  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How much do you pay for power? on: April 22, 2012, 11:53:14 AM
I just joined a budget plan with my power company which bills me $84/month regardless of usage Cheesy
Was this an option with your power company you could sign up for in place of a regular per kW pricing?  Meaning that you could pick between the two plans?
it wasn't offered to me when I started service, I got a bill last month for over $400 and I called them and the guy I spoke with said "you should have signed up for our budget plan, it's a flat rate of $84/mo no matter how much you use", I informed him that the original sales rep was an idiot and never offered me that deal

What is the time taken to get $50 for that one with the check
without any referrals it will take a few months, it's not very fast but I like the fact that it's set and forget

Couldn't you just set it up say on a miner like you said, a linux miner that has nothing to do with your main computers to be safe
i think these can only run on Windows, they're .exe files, unless you can run .exe files on linux somehow (idk, i'm a windows guy)

I've only dabbled in linux. With enough fiddling and wine you might get it to work. Better yet, just use a virtual machine of windows. Ya there we go.
if you or anybody else tries running it in linux, please report back so we can know whether or not it can be done

--also, when I receive my check for http://tickerbar.info/join_now.ghc?r=210971104 I'll be sure to post a pic for payment proof
