I wish I had that much disposable cash! These are very cool! Could you imagine having one of these around 10 years from now? 20 years?
The only thing I noticed in actual photos are that the block number and reward amount are stickers vs being engraved - is there an option to receive it engraved vs stickers?
@bobbyclee mentioned there was the possibility of engraving in the thread for the pre-halving Bitcoin Block so that option may still be open: It’s also important to note that the stickers are optional, and people can choose whether they want to apply them or not depending on the aesthetic they want. And, we can also offer an option to laser etch the information onto the blocks, but this method would require you to bring the loaded Bitcoin Block to our facilities in Las Vegas. (If there's interest in this, we can recommend some trusted couriers to help you transport the Blocks back and forth.)

Many potential users are put off by PGP because it is perceived as too complicated and inconvenient. If you feel that way I suggest you try out gpg4usb. The documentation on the site should be all you need. You don't have to run the program from a USB drive: you can save it as a folder on your computer or even inside a TrueCrypt container.

privnotes.com no longer resolves for me, the site may have been taken down. Also be aware of privnotes.ru which was registered on 2020-02-08. Not showing up on Google search yet.

According to the FAQ you can also PIN protect the card. With the PIN and the requirement to hold the card next to the Android phone for 30-45 seconds for transfers that is supposed to prevent drive by attacks. I got a few of these to play with when they first came out but never really used them much. I will have to find mine and see how that PIN is enabled.

I was able to get on the wait list for the hardcover; due to the high serial number I was assigned it looks like the list is filling up quickly. Thanks Elias very much looking forward to the book.

this is gonna go for some ridiculous price
Probably high because all of the new people here bidding. Even if only 15 people place 1 bid this will be at 0.25 or so
The last one of these that sold openly which was pretty recent I would say maybe 6 months or so. Went for 0.35ish btc right?
why do these go for much more over value than the 0.5's that recently went for 0.53? I think scarcity plays a role. According to Ahonen only 764 of these were made in 2013 compared to 2,959 of the 0.5's. They aren't as widely held as Ahonen notes that: These coins were only sold in rolls of 20, meaning they only ended up in relatively fewer hands That is backed up by the fact that the silver dimes don't show up at auction here that often and have always sold for a greater than usual premium. Good luck with the auction!

Until we break through $10501, test and hold it's just noise.

Well, that was fast. They were not sold out this afternoon at banksycaptured.com ... I added one to the cart and almost bought but hesitated to commit. Just was not sure it would hold value with only a COA from Lazarides.

Thanks @bitbollo nice catch, that framed Di-Faced Tenner was originally auctioned by Bottleneck Gallery. Does make me wonder why the seller is letting it go though. I located two other sources for Di-Faced Tenners, also with provenance from Steve Lazarides, who used to be Banksy's agent. One is at Lazarides' website where he is selling single Di-Faced Tenners for £1250. The second is from the online store of Andipa Gallery at £1500. I have no idea if you can really trust the provenance from either, but certainly safer than buying on eBay.

FOR HODLERS BITCOIN ONLY. NOTHING ELSE. Bitcoin-only firmware for both Trezor One and Trezor Model T is available now. Enhance your Trezor with the most minimalistic firmware we have ever published, and embrace your inner maximalist. https://shop.trezor.io/btc-only/Jeez! I am really out of the game if I don't even know this. Thanks for pointing that out VB. As I said I couldn't believe Slush would have thought of something like that (adding shitcoins to a Trezor). This makes it better. Trezor supporting some altcoins was a good idea, they made profiting from the BCH airdrop in 2017 easy.

The Urban Art Association is a good source for info about Banksy art. Here is a link on how to spot a forged single Di-Faced Tenner. I would never buy one online, I would want to look at the note in person using a jeweler's loupe. If you have contacts in the art world you might be able to locate a single authentic Di-Faced Tenner for sale if you take the time to look and are patient. I think most collectors are hanging on to them for future appreciation. You will never see a legit COA from Pest Control for a single Tenner ... only the sheets. If you really want provenance you should consider bidding on a full sheet of Di-Faced Tenners that occasionally come up for sale at Sotheby's or Christie's. There is also the possibility that some will show up on BBay.

Could you please advice; what would be a very userfriendly and safe Android app to be used by the less tech savvy to buy some BTC and keep them in their own wallet on their phone?
Friends and family like to buy a bit of BTC too, but exchanges and alike are way too complicated for them. They just want to click & buy, have secure local storage and be able to sell, no trading functionalities required.
Does anyone know if these kind of "Mobile BTC Wallet for Dummies" exist or have recommendations?
No sorry. Your friends and family should be able to use Coinbase without any major problems. That one is as user friendly as it gets. Gemini is an alternative if you don't like Coinbase. If you start to accumulate bitcoin and learn your way around you would eventually want a hardware wallet.
