21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run or Bull Trap on: January 07, 2020, 09:42:56 AM
Sudden market movements these past few days have been somewhat bullish, I know we've got the whole halving thing in view, but are we really moving out of the bear market? If so can I buy or just short this b*tch. If the latter, what's your call price?
In my opinion, the price of Bitcoin is rising just because the political situation between the US and Iran is increasingly tense leads to many investors, and speculators were worried, then buy Bitcoin and pushing value. So, it's only a temporary trending, not by the supply of Bitcoin is reduced or Bitcoin became scarce or something like that.

Btw, now is also a good time for the scalping traders Roll Eyes
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the safest way to buy crypto? on: January 07, 2020, 09:30:05 AM
Before planning to purchase cryptocurrency , you should be very clear about rules in your country for buying and selling cryptocurrency. In many countries government are banning for any crypto transactions. If you r country is not in the list then you should choose many crypto buying sites like binance, coinbase and much more.

I think that in this situation, when the government prohibits any cryptocurrency transactions, you can use intermediaries to purchase cryptocurrencies.  In addition, with the help of Bestchange you can buy cryptocurrency for the funds that are in your bank account.  In this case, fiat funds are transferred from one user to another, but you indicate your cryptocurrency wallet to which your coins will come to you.  It is thanks to Bestchenge that you can recognize a reputable exchange, because in other cases there may be a risk of fraud.

But by this way you are violating terms proposed by he government. Better keep in mind that if you are planning to buy any crypto then you do it with your own risk
Yes, so risky when your country doesn't accept any cryptocurrency trading! Before doing that, some pieces of knowledge about "security and anonymous on the Internet" are necessary. VPN, Tor, or VPS are useful for this thing, but as I said, the security is also one of the most important things must you care about it.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my house for buying altcoins need your help on: January 07, 2020, 09:21:04 AM
this is my current investments. do u have any suggestion

20k$ = BNB
20k$ = ADA
20k$ = EOS
20k$ = XEM
20k$ = NEO
10k$ = XRP

I only see BNB is a good token in the list of your investment. XRP is just a token for the transaction fee, so I don't recommend it for long-term investment. Besides that, you must know many people lost their house just by they have invested in cryptocurrency, especially you're wanting to invest in Altcoin - which place has huge scammers and hype projects.

Honestly, I hope you can consider carefully again before doing that. I have many friends who did the same, and I knew what the result will happen after all. Undecided
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Recap for the year 2019 on: January 05, 2020, 08:09:51 AM
Hmm, 2019 is a necessary year before the growth of Bitcoin after Halving. A bear and a sideways market, that's enough and perfect for preparing a new trending in the next time!

In my opinion, last year, Altcoin doesn't have much worth, almost the value of the altcoin dumped to the abyss, but thanks to that dump time, it helped the altcoin market more clearly. And it also helped a lot of people knew what they have invested are worthy or waste.

Finally, I hope the end of 2020 will be better the last year, should have some signals as the alert for the bullish trending.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quality or Price? - which one you look when buying altcoins? on: January 05, 2020, 07:49:16 AM
Hi I'm not a technical guy and I really want to invest in altcoins. Fo you guys which do you guys prefer in this time when buying your altcoins?
Do you still like to buy those under rank cryptos that low price or you preferred to buy those on the top? Or do you prefer projects which have constant project development and updates that still build even though they fell from the bottom? Or you skip those low satoshi altcoins even though they still have great developments?

And if you can give me some idea too to where I can research project development statistics and quality of altcoins. Sorry for my English?
Don't put too much faith in the ranking system of Coinmarketcap if you are looking altcoin ranking through this site. Cryptocurrency has a lot of trash coins, tokens, etc. So, before investing, I think you should spend your time researching Altcoin, Blockchain, or Bitcoin. I'm sure it will help you a lot in looking for the right cryptocurrency for your investment.

Btw, if you really want to put your money by the advice of a strange like me, you should buy ETH, ETC at this time. I guess the value one of them or both will raise soon. But as above, try to research before putting your money follow my advice! Smiley
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Community calls out Charlie Lee on: January 04, 2020, 08:41:11 AM
After Litecoin founder Charlie Lee pledged to make a push towards improved privacy in 2019, it appears that development towards this goal is now well underway as development funding picks up steam.

The new development plans to implement the MimbleWimble protocol on Litecoin, allowing users to selectively opt-in to privacy-preserving confidential transactions.

Full News Here

I do think that once stated and called out a person should do what he was meant at first place.

Charlie Lee stated that he would pay 1:1 but he's shouting out to the Community that he won't pay all of it.

It makes sense they are angry at him and asking him to pay all at once else it might die.

Are you by the Communities side or you think Charlie Lee did the right call?

He is just a liar, a famous liar. It's ridiculous to see someone still believe what he said after witnessing what he has done since he promised to support Litecoin. Grin
Trust me, Litecoin will soon become a coin to die for what he will bring. It's disappointing for a developer who once grew famous to become a famous liar - "Mr. Sold at ATH."

he sold his bags when litecoin hit its all-time high, and he also said he will not buy it back. of course, the community is angry with it, last year he promised to make development but in reality? will you still believe in him after all of this? I am not.

Me too, haha
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Banks are bullish on crypto on: January 04, 2020, 08:21:28 AM
aren't they are bullish on the blockchain to be developed as the core for their platforms in the future? If they are seeing crypto will be very bullish and the requirements that crypto must be fully regulated to make it happen. There is a lot of parties that are still contradicting the existence of the cryptocurrency.
I can't say if banks are bullish on crypto as there are only a few banks are saying like that but almost all of the banks are still considering crypto as a threat.
Just hope they will change their mind about crypto ASAP.
No, I'm sure the bank, even the government have never trusted cryptocurrency. Since the begin, they just wanted to get the benefit from blockchain technology and want to develop that future technology to their system.

For example, in China, they have many projects related to blockchain technology in 2020. But that not mean they are supporting Cryptocurrency on the media, news at now. Even, they have alerted cryptocurrency is a high risk for the investment.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing is wrong with altcoins on: January 02, 2020, 04:12:28 AM
I will start hating altcoins only when bitcoin raise up to 20,000$ and altcoins fail to move up as well, many people are putting blames on altcoins today as if bitcoin is not in loss itself, the ATH of btc was 20k and now it's trading for 7,000+ thats like 12,000$ lost please how will this not affect other altcoins as well? Top altcoins will surely lose value as well, to me this present loss of altcoins are positive, look at coins like LTC, EOS, BNB, these coins are doing fine. You will only have problem if you invest in crap altcoins
Ok, just like the name of Altcoin - Alternate cryptocurrencies, you can use Altcoin to replace Bitcoin when you need it. However, let's take a look at this forum, we have a separate box for Bitcoin, but all altcoins are arranging in one box "Alternate cryptocurrencies". It's enough to know the Altcoin ecosystem has many shitcoin - huge trash. You must remember that the value of Bitcoin or Altcoin shows the interest of investors. The more the value fluctuates in a downtrend, the more it loses the confidence of investors, and vice versa, the value will increase when investors have put their trust in Bitcoin or Altcoin => Buy them!

So, if the Altcoin price has decreased, it by its investor sold them and made dump, not by Bitcoin! Wink
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum upgrade to POS blockchain Vs. Bitcoin Halving[Ian Balina statement] on: January 02, 2020, 03:47:46 AM
There is no such thing as perfect consensus to fixed all blockchain flaws. If there is I think people already supported and used that. So far PoW for me is the best mechanism though PoS has a lighter usage which is why Eth consider this to use. Anyway, Ian Balina is a bit of a shiller but I'm impress many got hook up with him with his predicting tweets. But for technical reason definitely not a good statement.
what is so good about eth? is not it only making a transition to pos? yes, it is very likely for the price to go up because pos will increase the demand for staking purposes. but pos is not something new, it has been here for a few years.
PoW is the best algorithm, but for an unlimited supply cryptocurrency like Ethereum, it should change to PoS. Bitcoin got success with PoW because it has limited its supply and always halving every 4 years while Ethereum can't do that! The max supply cap was one of the severe problems at the begin of Ethereum. No limit, it will become increasingly inflationary and go against the nature of a cryptocurrency. So, I hope PoS could help Ethereum to solve this issue because it must pass this barrier to grow the value.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BNB? on: January 01, 2020, 09:17:17 AM
I'm not sure what caused such drop to BNB but I'm happy as I can buy some of them now. I see potential in BNB and transparency is the main factor not like other exchanges that manipulate volume.
I believe the Binance exchange could grow more in the future. They are very wise when it comes to putting concerns and customer care first. Houbi and Kucoin are also the exchanges with such good customer care teams, but I personally appreciate Binance above all.

Btw, I predict BNB will grow five times from this price in value over the two years sustainably, as long as Bitcoin has to overcome the $ 20,000 barrier.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Bleeding on: January 01, 2020, 09:02:44 AM
We should think differently, there are many positive thoughts about even though the market telling us that we are wrong. Chart doesn't lie and we should base our decisions in price action. I let go the altcoins that I hold before because it breaksdown in its previous support. I keep seeing posts that saying "keep holding altcoins because it will grow in the future" it so funny to read that kind of posts because they are proving that they do not really understand how market works.
The chart is for reference only. Technical analysis is also the same. Charts are proof of price history, and people often use it to predict whether similar things can happen. But with the cryptocurrency market, especially the copying of startup projects being launch through the token under "Blockchain feature", I don't believe that charts will be useful for observing to trade with them.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 888,888 KickTokens Frozen Drop to each of 167,375 crypto users on: January 01, 2020, 08:20:44 AM
Haha, I just received that money today. However, shitcoin is still shitcoin, nothing more than junk. From 100,000 KICK = ~ 20-30 ETH, it has become a pile of garbage worth a few cups of coffee. Even this junk couldn't be sell until "KICKEX" was released.

KICKICO is really the worst project I have invested in just by a few promotions, a detestable memory. :/
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Comparing ROI of Bitcoin's to altcoins on: December 31, 2019, 09:07:28 AM
Wow, a great chart! I didn't know DASH gave more profits than XRP since exchange listing. It is not too surprising to see BNB in the top 4 in this chart. Since Binance became popular, most countries in Asia have used Binance to trade instead of Bittrex or Poloniex as before. Of course, it also had great promotion campaigns to make it accessible more.

Btw, look at BCH, the profit value is sufficient to prove it's really useless when investing. Roll Eyes
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BNB? on: December 31, 2019, 08:55:55 AM
BNB was one of the most profitable exchange tokens before a while but now the value has dropped by over 50% as it's trailing at a mere $14 as of now and the same was above $35 in the month of June. If this trend continues then the BNB will lose its potential and investors. BNB was one of my favorite tokens which have crashed terribly, what do you think will be the future of this token?
While BNB is a token that can be considered a "stock" of Binance, don't forget that BNB is still part of the cryptocurrency market. From 1 BNB = 0.1 USD, it has grown in value to nearly $ 40. Hence, the problem of reducing the value of BNB is very reasonable. Even those crypto with an active community like Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, etc. are still unavoidable of the devaluation after excessive hype.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: More Pressure Mounted By Apple, As Coinbase Sets to Remove iOS dApp Support on: December 31, 2019, 08:46:58 AM
There will be no a lot of solution about that until those companies (apple and google) will unban crypto. Both companies are giving non sense reason for that. it looks like they are feeling worry if crypt will grow even more.
if that is for android user and there was a lot of solution for that but not for apple. US customer can only access the dapps from their desktop.
It's not clear what's the real reason behind google and apple to make that policy.
Metamask's case is the best example about that.
Maybe, some people take advantage of the growth of Blockchain and DApps to deceive others, such as stealing user information, etc. Regarding the fact that Google has stopped all ads related to cryptocurrency, or Youtube removed all videos related to crypto, in my opinion, both almost aim to keep safe for the user.

Such as EtherDelta and IDEX were once well-known decentralized exchanges but have all become fraudsters after their ICOs. Perhaps, that thing made companies like Apple and Google try to eliminate DApps besides to pressure from the government. They worry they can't protect the user when these DApps do the same thing as what EtherDelta or IDEX did. Of course, just my guess.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google banned ETH wallet and metamask android client on Playstore on: December 31, 2019, 05:18:26 AM
Google has banned Ethereum (ETH) wallet and decentralized app (DApp) browser Metamask’s android client from its Play app store.

The MetaMask team took to Twitter on Dec. 26, where they announced that Google had suspended MetaMask’s android client from Google Play’s app store, claiming MetaMask was in violation of Google’s financial services policies.

Here is the link to full the news
https://cointelegraph.com/news/google-suspends-metamask-from-its-play-app-store-citing-deceptive-services/amp
Google Play and the Apple Store seem to be trying to limit the popularity of DApps, and Coinbase's Mobile DApp may well be the next victim of this sweeping campaign. It seems the government has partnered with Google and Apple to stamp out the popularity of DApps.

Google has long hated the growth of cryptocurrencies and things related to decentralization. But at this time, there is undoubtedly an impact from the government, as it's rare for both Google and Apple to take action at the same time.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoins do it alone ? on: December 30, 2019, 08:50:15 AM
Altcoins really can't do it alone, not yet, and likely not for a few years. The markets are too thin and confidence is too low. Perhaps we will see the alt season that many have been anticipating, but this needs much higher market confidence. That can be achieved through a prolonged and sustained price rise across the board. So likely bitcoin dominance would either increase or remain similar to now, until we have significantly higher prices. Once that has happened and BTC growth has started to slow, then we see conditions where an alt season can begin.
No, I don't think so! From what I see, Altcoin is now a hole of startup projects, so I can't equate the growth of the value of Altcoin depends on Bitcoin. Ethereum, XRP, XMR, Litecoin, Dash, ... all had a period of value growth without having to depend on the same thing in Bitcoin (early 2017).

With the above listed, I'm convinced that the growth of lone Altcoin with an active community could still happen soon. Look at-in Ethereum community in the next time. It will prove my opinion is right!
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 understanding on: December 30, 2019, 08:35:25 AM
of course, it will be the same coin, but it will have a different mining algorithm. if now the ETH network is supported by miners who use the POW algorithm, then in ETH 2.0 will be used POS, which will support the network by freezing a certain amount of coins, specifically, as I know, 32 Ethereum. I think that after this update a lot of people will be upset
what you're saying is true, people who want to POS ETH then they at least have 32eth but here the one who is upset is that investors don't have the ability to get 32eth LOL, but wait a minute I haven't heard the POS reward !?
32 ETH = More $ 4000 with the current price, and with the expected profit of PoS, I see it's like a lending fund. It also means that requirement: 32 ETH is reasonable to participate in Staking. In my country, savings deposits in banks have an interest rate of up to 8% / year. So, maybe it's normal for me. Tongue

You could check it more details through here: ETH 2.0 Economics
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin makes a new statement. What do you think about this? on: December 30, 2019, 08:11:34 AM
Sooner or later, the famous Blockchains you see, the principles based on (incentives) will hit the wall.
It' an obvious dead end that it has to come to the fact it's gonna be centralized & ran from one single place (servers) & the communities adopting it / buying it will be just MasterCard / Visa... users like we see now except with lowers fees.
What' happening right now in crypto is the embryo stage, the next stage will make it boom, which means less incentives for crypto communities, sad but this is how i see it.

There have been proof of stake coins before which have crashed. Remember Reddcoin, Dash, Hyperstake and hundreds of others that popped up in 2015 and 2016?

They sort of died because you needed a huge amount of coins to get a reliable stake, and so the small holders sold up deleted their wallets and moved on.
Yes, I agree with you! We have seen many Altcoins activated power-of-stake can't keep its value as the promise. I invested in Dash, XZC, to make a profit from Stake, but it all became meaningless when the value of both dropped quickly.

PoS requires great responsibility from the community. It will be counterproductive when most people only want to get out of ETH as soon as possible after waiting a long time to see an increase in the value of ETH.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash the real Bitcoin? on: December 30, 2019, 07:49:44 AM
So i heard this guy talking about how Bitcoin Cash is actually the real Bitcoin. He says that Bitcoin is no longer what Satoshi Nakamoto originally proposed in the Bitcoin whitepaper.

1. It was supposed to be Peer to Peer but Segwit is destroying this.

2. On-Chain Scaling was supposed to raise as needed (Block Size)

3. Since Bitcoin scales on Chain , It has fast transactions.

Can i get your input on why he might be right or wrong?

It has been two years since Bitcoin Cash came out, maybe you also saw that without Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin (BTC) can still solve everything correctly. SegWit is really the right step to help Bitcoin avoid overload when confirming the huge number of transaction hashes per day. In my opinion, I don't deny that the introduction of Bitcoin Cash has helped many people tend to use Altcoin instead of Bitcoin for transactions via cryptocurrency. But after all, Bitcoin is still itself, and Bitcoin Cash is no different than a clone copied from a fork.
