21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: November 19, 2019, 02:34:58 PM

I am using Mobile App, what's said above was to update the app on December 2. Does that mean I should just wait for that update and everything will be fine? Or it's required to log in the account first on updated Waves DEX’s web version/desktop app?
22  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: November 19, 2019, 10:10:41 AM
- I just want to know how much time they usually give you between asking for source of funds info/documents and cutting off withdrawals.
Isn't it stated on the e-mail? Not sure if it was the same on Enhanced verification e-mail which states : "Kindly complete the step within 7 business days from receiving this message to continue using your account without interruption."

I assume, when you did not complete it within that span of time, your limits would either go down 1 level or completely become 0 and will be back only once you comply.

- I don't have a bank account nor do I get statements from my employer. I do get paid in PayPal sometimes, but that's irrelevant to Coins. I do generate invoices for one of my clients.
When you are asked to provide proof for source of funds, it doesn't matter if it was crypto related or not. Check this out: Why do I have to show my source of funds?. They accept payslips, so maybe they'll accept invoice.

The whole "source of funds" thing seems dumb though. PayPal or any bank account I've ever had never asked me about my source of funds -- why would it matter for cryptocurrency. Oh well, I don't make the rules.
It's not really because of crypto, but Fiat. Banks and Coins.ph are both regulated by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. The reason why they need the "source of funds" proof is because of Anti-Money Laundering Act.

I heard that some exchanges lock users account and ask for proof of founds when they receive transactions from dark markets, is Coins.ph tracking dark market wallets?
Better read their TOS to know all prohibited transaction or activities: https://site.coins.ph/user-agreement
23  Economy / Exchanges / Re: P2B2PB balance is gone (stolen) on: November 18, 2019, 11:34:49 PM
Checking their ANN Thread could have saved you too: [p2pb2b.io] The next generation cryptocurrency exchange [IEO (STO) for Startups]

Since it's too late for that, the only thing I could suggest is you continue reaching out to them because no one here knows exactly when or if they will really give your asset back.

By impressions and data, were they identity documents? For KYC?
24  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [STEP BY STEP] Tutorial How to buy Bitcoin at 7-Eleven Stores in the Philippines on: November 18, 2019, 01:21:41 PM
Mas convenient talaga magcashin through Kiosk.

In terms of cash in via 7-eleven, ito ang difference na I think dapat mo i-consider before you decide:

Also, my account is level 3 -- no need for level 4.
Hi nutildah, you are using Google translate or any translation website/software/app, right? I want to say that it's okay for you to post/ask questions here in English. That way, we can easily understand your concern Smiley

- If your account limits were back to 0, then you can't cash out any amount
- Can't you provide a bank statement since you earn as a freelance writer? or invoice maybe. Tbh, I'm afraid that video interview will be enough, but you can try asking them

Unfortunately, even you have a higher account level, they can reduced your limits and ask for a document especially if you use your account often to withdraw.

To get an accurate answer and further assistance, I suggest that you directly contact coins.ph support via their app or send an email to help@coins.ph

Sometimes it's hard for us to figure out what a specific Art wants to tell, it's meaning.....

Until we look at it on a different perspective.

No offense meant.

Kaya 'yong iba go pa din kahit may video interview.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Projects Scamming Bounty Hunters on: November 15, 2019, 08:41:57 AM
We can't stop scammers to scam, it's their choice not ours. What bounty hunters can do is to avoid those scam projects.

Not all can be avoided of course, but doing research would help a lot to avoid many, especially now that there are members here in the forum who exposed scam/fraud projects as much as they can.

Bounty hunters should pay attention to bounty terms as well. Afaik there are bounty campaigns which states that there will be no payment if the ICO fails (correct me if I'm wrong). If the hunters accept the terms and still join despite that, then they should not complain at the end if their hardwork weren't paid.
29  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: remitano have mt btc locked in their site on: November 15, 2019, 07:09:24 AM
Seems that there have been several issues in the past. I provided references below:

- Remitano.com is a scam website
- Remitano.com is a scam!
- Is Remitano.com SCAM?
- Is Remitano safe to use?

You can visit their facebook page too and read comments, I saw some users complaining about locked balances, released BTC without permission, pending deposits even confirmed on blockchain and more.

For now, the only thing you can do is wait until they finish the said updates and hope that your BTC will be visible on your account. Once received, I think it would be better to leave the site.
30  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: November 13, 2019, 10:49:22 PM
getting ready for the level 4! but what? i dont have business i am pure trader at bounty hunter. ano ipoprovide kong business permit? pwede ko ibigay history of tradings ahahahha. lintek na coins.
As in hindi lang binigay as option lang.

Ang kailangan mo i-provide talaga ay documents na magpapatunay ng source of funds like:
- bank statement
- payslip
- tax return

Reference : Why do I have to show my source of funds?

Dati sa level 3, my question na source of funds, isinama ko din ang trading at campaigns doon, pero di ako nag provide ng documents like trading history basta meron ka nung alin sa 3 na nabanggit sa taas.
31  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BAT Token Scam Targets BTT Users on: November 13, 2019, 01:25:42 PM
You've missed to include important information here like:

1. Email address of the sender
2. Link from where you can download the Phishing browser so that we can report it (you can put it inside a code tag)

Anyway, there have been scam attempts on Telegram too before. So, be careful and only trust official announcements and updates from the team.
32  Economy / Exchanges / Re: DONT DEPOSIT ON HITBTC on: November 12, 2019, 02:23:22 AM
Do you got me?
Yes, I got it, what I thought was right. Someone really used your account, using your account he bought High (likely the sell order with his own account) and sold low (likely the buy order with his own account).

I'm planning to transfer my funds on Binance. Did Binance requires users to undergo KYC?
There's a 2 BTC Withdrawal Limit per 24h for a non KYC users on Binance. Read this Security Tips if you'll use it.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: UNIFY [UNIFY] - THE NEXT GENERATION OF CROWDFUNDING [POS, LOW SUPPLY] on: November 11, 2019, 11:31:48 PM
My wallet has stopped syncing. It has active connections but never catches up. Is there a recent update or something else required. I know communication has moved to Telegram but when I followed the provided link I get an unknown protocol error.

Yes, mine too and for the others. A lot of bot accounts are joining the telegram group, a bit hard to see updates, but the last thing I read was - a new wallet update will be released (quoted below). So as of now, users should wait for that.

MarkoeZ, [30.10.19 23:01]
we have the fix, wallet update will be released asap
34  Economy / Exchanges / Re: DONT DEPOSIT ON HITBTC on: November 11, 2019, 05:36:47 AM
My balance is emptied! I don't know what happen but my XRP converted into BOX then trade into EOS until it became empty.
Please explain it clearer. When you say it was converted to XRP then BOX then EOS, you mean it happened without you taking that action?

The problem may be from:
   1. Your HitBTC account directly
   2. 3rd party app you used to trade
   3. HitBTC API,  if you are not using the updated version (v 2.0)

I'm afraid you could get back your assets, but start on checking all the histories on HitBTC directly not on tabtrader app.
35  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: November 10, 2019, 05:10:05 PM
Ahh baka ang sinasabi niya ay before cut off time. Dati kapag nag Cash out ka sa Bank (PESONet) need mo i-request before 10 AM para makukuha mo din sya same day, pero recently mas nag improve sila, kasi from 10 AM ginawa nilang 3PM cut off during weekdays.

So, if mag cash out ka sa bank via PESONet on weekdays before 3 PM, free transaction, tapos ma-processed sya same day by 11 PM. Kung weekend & Holiday naman by 11 PM of next business day. Na-post ko dito 'yong update na 'yan. Okay 'yan kung hindi ka naman nagmamadali, pero kung nagmamadali ka, go ka na sa InstaPay, 10php is reasonable naman for the convenience, imo.

PS. Inedit ko 'yong 1st post ko about it.

36  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: November 10, 2019, 01:36:08 AM
Wala akong kamalay malay eh.
There are 2 options kasi kapag nag cash out ka ngayon:

1. PESONet - Free transfer pero next business day mo pa expected ma-receive if hindi mo na-cash out before 3 PM. Kapag naka pag withdraw request na before 3 PM on weekdays, ma-processed pa same day by 11 PM. Kapag weekends and holidays, ma-processed pa on the next business day.

2. instaPay - may 10php fee for any amount, expected delivery time 10 minutes

(Note: may ibang bank yata na may 20php fee)

'yong instaPay recently lang na-add sa coins ph. Though may 10php fee, sulit na din kasi almost instant tapos pwede ka mag-withdraw even on weekends and holidays, same delivery time.
37  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you not relented in viewing your account wallet? on: November 09, 2019, 11:07:47 PM
I think many crypto holders are in the same boat as you, from actively viewing wallet before to rarely check wallet during the dump. What for, right? There's no reason to view your wallet from time to time if you don't have a plan to trade, considering today's price. Don't stress yourself.

Personally, I rarely check my balances even before. If I do,  it's through block explorers and not directly opening my wallets. I recommend it that way if you will not do any transaction.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: November 09, 2019, 10:28:18 PM
Speaking of Vostok tokens, had they distributed the vostok airdrop for WAVES holders?

I have checked my waves wallet, its really hard to see the list of transactions, I haven't figured how to look at it because the list of tokens sent are so many that I have to scroll endlessly. Assets tab just filled with fake tokens. Almost with same name of the ERC tokens that we can't hide at least.
Yes, VST tokens have been distributed long time ago. I received mine.

On the waves app, there's a search feature on assets section, but the problem is that VST isn't showing. I know there has been some problem on VST trading, but have no idea why the token isn't visible there. When I go to exchange VST/WAVES pair, I can still see my balance to sell when I click "use total balance".
39  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cpdax scam: Suspended my account and don't want to accept my kyc on: November 08, 2019, 11:58:10 PM
cpdax.com?

- Driver's License was on their FAQ (archive) under ID Verification as valid type of ID.
- There's no Notice about recent country restrictions in using their services under Notices page (archive)

Looks like they just want to keep your funds.
40  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: November 07, 2019, 04:21:08 AM
Just because no one should be using an exchange as a vault, doesn't mean an exchange has the right to steal from its users.
Requesting a recovery and paying the fee is not compulsory. As I've said above other exchanges doesn't even have that recovery thing.

You must have very low standards of cryptocurrency exchanges if you think that is okay
Oh it seems to me that you consider it low standards when people know what they Accept in the TOS before they use a service. Roll Eyes
