I would choose for a bitcoin wallet its more secured, faster and easier.
Also your not dependent on bank that controls your account.
Well I would say that an online Bitcoin wallet and a bank have the same amount of security. But Bitcoin wallets are just better.

If you are scammed with your bank account, the receiver has to return the money to you. For bitcoin account, there is no way.

I use bank and bitcoin all of them  Grin

Naah. Bank is waste one When we compare with Bitcoin wallet. Btc Wallet is very digital one Bank. Which gonna put down bank very soon. So kill bank and welcome Bitcoin wallet.

When you use an online wallet such as coinbase, you are entrust it with your money. That is the same as a bank but you are not protected.
23  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: February 05, 2016, 10:55:49 AM
Instead of thinking that bitcoin itself will get me rich I believe this is a great opportunity for many aspiring entrepreneurs to test the waters. Nothing more exciting then creating yourself a job in a new market.

Bitcoin is revolutionary. It will change the payment system and reduce the banking cost. So it will make us rich.

definitely buy time.  Wish I could buy a bunch.  Must remain calm  Undecided

We have to remain calm. The price has dropped a little over 10% in the last month. We have to be patient as well.

My plan is buying bitcoin when the price going down and sell it when the price going up. so i will get profit depend how many i buy bitcoins. i hope i have many bitcoins, so i can get much profit.

Its according to how much we need from bitcoin. Just take if we need millions of fiat USD means you have to buy bitcoin as much possible before halving done. Then you sell it later if have more bitcoin at that time. Sure you ll be the millionaire. If you need small profit means just do as you said buying and selling instantly.

Buying some bitcoin before the halving could be a good idea. Halving can reduce the supply of coins from miners.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: February 03, 2016, 07:55:23 AM
I would still choose paypal its easier to make a payment and the got a nice system for it.
But of course bitcoin is more secured than any payment method so that also pretty nice.

I never find complicated in making payments with the bitcoin wallet. I believe it is more easier than PayPal. I always want to go with bitcoin wallet for making payments as well as for receiving funds.

Making payment itself with bitcoin wallet is as easy as paypal. You just need to put the receiver address there and select the right amount of fee.

i have my buy orders at $350. hope it gets filled.

If you put your buy order at $350, there is small chance that it will get filled. So good luck.
29  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Cloud Mining with HashFlare on: February 02, 2016, 09:04:50 AM
Hi guys,

I'm a newbie into bitcoin mining, but yesterday I thought that was a good idea to invest into cloud mining.
I bought 1 TH/s from HashFlare for 330$. Today I saw the payment history looking like this :

Entry   Time   Amount (BTC)   Balance (BTC)
SHA-256 payout   31.01.16 00:14   0.0043489   0.0043489
SHA-256 maintenance fee   31.01.16 00:14   0.00262628   0.00172262

After 1 day of mining I receive 0.00172262 Bitcoins. ~ 0.65$ at 376.57$ priced today. In this condition I can recover my money in ~ 507 days . Considering that difficulty is growing fast I can't even recover my money unless BTC/USD will be better. I sent an email to HashFlare to  cancel my order and return my money. I hope everything will be ok.

I will announce you how they treat people in this situation.

With your calculations, it will take nearly 17 months to reach ROI on your investment! This without any reinvestment! If you reinvest some of your payments, you will have a faster return!
I think it is a good investment!
I only have 0,91 TH/s and consistently withdraw every 7 days, last week for the first time it took about 6 hours to receive it, yesterday I got it after 1 hour.
No business in the world, would give back money, claiming that you made a mistake.

If you reinvest, you might even lose your money. The difficulty is growing too fast. The new investment will not be ROI.

Your total fee is quite high. Even if you are honest person. The S7 will not be profitable in a few months.
31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I was scammed ...... on: February 02, 2016, 08:56:02 AM

I downloaded the program "Team Viewer" and started it up ...... he told me he could see my screen, etc......then somehow he asked to see my bitcoin wallet to verify the coins on blockchain.   Once I logged into my bitcoin wallet on blockchain........BLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAM....... I saw my bitcoin balance being withdrawn in a flash.     END OF STORY

So obviously, besides my stupidity, it was the "Team Viewer" program that allowed him to pull off this scam.  I'm still not sure how that program works.....for instance, how could it allow him to also be logged into my bitcoin wallet on blockchain???  How could two computers be accessing the same wallet like that?

Teamviewer gives him access to your computer. But I am sure how did he type his wallet address so fast to remove your money.

I got a plan by investing and trading and hopefully btc price will rise soon...so i can get a profit..
The other plan maybe will be build a new business in btc try to sell a things in there or etc that can earn money...but still have no idea what to sell

Your plan is sound good, for business plan I think better you make an online shop which sell electronic good and related. And the important point all of that priced in bitcoin Wink

You can list the items in local currency and bitcoin. But the bitcoin price is 5% less than the local currency.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: February 01, 2016, 09:43:09 AM
yep, im topping up my bitcoins as there will be a significant price increase sooner or later and it will make me money

everyone should take advantage of the price right now. because no one knows when the price would stay this low and lets be positive that price will rise very soon.  Smiley

It is good time for whales to accumulate before the halving. They will try their best to make the price low.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why you mostly like bitcoin compare to other digital currency? on: February 01, 2016, 09:34:54 AM
A lot of people know about bitcoin compared to other cryptocurrencies. Because of this, bitcoin is accepted in multiple online stores.

Bitcoin is the most famous cryptocurrency. It is number one in terms of market capitalisation. It also has most usage of all.

Which AMD driver is recommended for mining ETH with 280X cards

Any of the recent drivers, from 14.6 to 15.7. I tried most of them, there is no difference in mining performance.

Thanks , I explored a difference between mining ETH , EXP/SOIL. When mining EXP and SOIL , the speed is about 20% faster , than mining ETH. Tried both win 7 and 8.1 x64. Tried several mining pools , as well. And deleting ethash folder for every single try.
So is it normal such a big difference in speeds ( Im with 15.7 driver, but Crimson 16.1 giving same speed )...

The DAG files size of Eth has increased a lot since early days. So the hash speed dropped a lot. The EXP/SOIL's DAG files size is still small, the speed is faster.

I do not see difference between W7 and W8.1.

The price went down to $370 now. It is in the lower point of the recent trading range. If it is broke, the price could test $300.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: January 28, 2016, 09:04:13 AM
I'll admit I'll alternate between the two depending on what I've got at any given time, but I prefer Bitcoin when I can. I don't trust Paypal.
why you don't trust paypal ?
whereas those who provide a money back guarantee to members and security wallet that good enough?
whether because it is not decentralized?

Maybe he doesn't like their dispute procedure.
For me paypal is crap since i mostly get it as an merchant and the fees are too high.

The fee is too high. When the amount is small, the fee is about 15%. When the amount is high, the fee is about 8%.
39  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: January 28, 2016, 09:02:58 AM
yes i bought 1.3 BTC at the time the price of $ 380. I believe bitcoin next month will have a hike. at least if the price already stands at $ 450 I will sell entirely.
however, it is necessary to wait time. can not be ascertained. if I, rising $ 20 from the price that I bought was already quite favorable.

Will you sell after rising $20? I think the price will rise further in the next few month as bitcoin becomes popular.

Online Bitcoin wallets are not safe, but software and hardware wallets are really good. Banks are really shit.

For for the time being, most of us are paid with fiat through banks. So we have to deal with banks. Although we also hold some bitcoins.
