I'm not sure but from what I've read "bitcoins are safer than all the security from all the banks put together". Truth will reveal itself in time, but until now it looks pretty good.

I choose wallets, I think they are safer.
I just a feeling I have when I have money on the bank, its bad.
The wallets are really from you no one can say something about it.
Yes bitcoins are much safer and rather easier to use than getting to bank, filling cheques and then getting the cash. I think just the interest we get from bank maybe the only positive side in choosing banks  Filling cheques? Look like banks there in your place are not upgrading and still hugging the old way. We are in 2016 now and that kind of method is really an old one. |

I think the bitcoin wallet is better, its secure and safe.
Its also fast and you do not depend on some kind of bank.

Indeed the bitcoin wallet is better. The main reason why I choose for a wallet is because it not depends on a bank. Also the bank doesn't know what you got. |

It's not simple question really.
Of course, as bitcoin user I prefer Bitcoin wallet because it's more safe, anonymous and it's way to financial freedom, in my opinion.
But, we still don't live in bitcoin world and need banks to.
Without banks you can't get loans, receive salary etc.
I have dream that once this will change and my salary will be in bitcoin but thus is distant future.
Right now I prefer bitcoin wallet but have to use both.

Im using banks in most of my transaction. I found it simple and no hassle. Just don't get what others saying here that banks are really crucial. I even have a savings too stored in bank and earning interest from it.
Before talking about the bad sides bank be sure that you have experienced it and just don't based it on what you read on the internet about banks.
At the same time, I regularly used bitcoin transaction too. Besides I have coins stored in multiple exchanges as part of my method as an average trader.

yeahh.. it's because bitcoin use decentralization system, no peple can freez it like at bank account and i choose the wallet with full acces to my address |

I think most of the people with bitcoin want to be more related to the no-central-authority aspect of it, Saving money in bank is doing the opposite IMO.

Both. I can't leave my bank for some currency that is failing at the moment. Not to say Bitcoin is a failure all together. Just currently it is.

Banks are important you can't erase that even bitcoin will truly dominate in the future. |

Yeah, bank is much more reliable than Bitcoin. But I personally think that Bitcoin is much faster when it comes to term 'speed'. Your online bank account is very easy to be hacked if you are using a weak password, signing in on a phishing website, etc. |

Yeah, bank is much more reliable than Bitcoin. But I personally think that Bitcoin is much faster when it comes to term 'speed'. Your online bank account is very easy to be hacked if you are using a weak password, signing in on a phishing website, etc. In terms of your "speed" they are the same. What kind of bank you have there. There are express payment system now in every country and here in our local. When we have funds, it's just one click away to transfer in our ATM card then withdraw the money. And you called online bank account "easy" to hacked? Hallelujah to that bank. Really a garbage one. What kind of bank is there that has low security. And FYI, weak password , phishing can also happened to bitcoin. And security today is more secure like you need to verify it with your mobile, email, 2fa etc. Come on don't live in the early days. |

If you have a bitcoin wallet you can really control it yourself.
Plus its pretty fast and secure.
