I started using bitcoins 3 years ago when I was looking for some additional income as my day job salary was not enough to fulfill my needs so I started searching online for the ways to earn money from home and I saw an article on google about bitcoins and came to know about this forum from where I got started.

The only risk in holding bitcoin is that if price crashes then you need to wait longer to make profits from it but in long term price will recover back and allow to make you profits but if you don't have patience then you will sell at low price and that is bit risky.

$3k is a very far to drop at this level for now its currently $15k and even after some price correction may occur it will not go dip at 3k it will likely occur at 10k to 12k.
Yeah $3k is history now and we will never see that low price of bitcoin in future and even if there is crash in the price I don't think it can go below $10k and if OP is waiting to buy at $3k price then he is surely wasting his time as bitcoin will never fall that low now. |

If you see the history of bitcoins then you will see the growth it has made over the years and now bitcoin is becoming more popular in compare to the past and it will increase its demand massively in next few years which will take its price to new level so if you invest in bitcoins now it will give you very good returns in future.

If you have invested bigger capital in waves then you can afford to hold it for a long term but if you are trading with a little amount then its gonna take a very long time to give you good profits.

We are now very close to $13k which can be achieved in next 1 or 2 days and if we see that price then it will continue to move up and our next destination should be $15k which is possible by the end of the year or in the beginning of next year.

The idea of this poll is to find out whether the lack of spending in the BTC economy is mainly due to the lack of acceptance of Bitcoin payments, or is it that people can actually buy a good deal of stuff that they need with BTC but choose not to.
I use my bitcoin when I need money. If there is no urgent need then I will keep the bitcoin until the price is really high. Yes this is true investment, even I can say this investment for the long term. That is the right thing to do as saving it for future can bring more profits for us as its price will be more valuable in future so using it now is not the right thing unless you are in urgent need of money then you can sell a part of it and rest save for the future. |

I am sure everyone is aware about the rise of altcoins like ETH and Litecoin so I just want to know expert's opinion whether to invest in bitcoin or altcoins as the price of bitcoin is too high now for an individual to invest into it ? Do you think these altcoins will survive and pump just like bitcoin or its better to stick to bitcoin ?
If you compare bitcoin with ETH and Litecoin then i will go with bitcoin, becasue bitcoin is all the time up and give me profit, that's why i am not compare bitcoin with altcoin. Since started when i did invest in bitcoin then i never get lose from it, all the time bitcoin give me profit. Right now bitcoin is expensive investment than altcoin. Bitcoin is the best investment for long term and it can never give you best profits in short term and if you want to make short term profits then you can go with different altcoins and start making timely profits and its always good to diversify investments at different places. |

It depends on how easy and simple you introduce them to bitcoins as if they have never heard about bitcoins then you need to keep things simple and show them the basic things about bitcoins and if you make things complicated at initial stage then I doubt that they will understand anything about bitcoins.

Saving bitcoin to your wallet has a big benefit. why? because bitcoin price value is unpredictable and in the few day bitcoin is bubble it's price. If start saving on the low price of it meaning nowadays your benefited of ricing of bitcoin price and sure that you will gain a high profit because of price bubble.
I dont think that alot of people will jump in now because of the price is quite high . Even if some people jump in the boat now, they will most likely sell it again once it reach 5 % profit or more. The price of bitcoin now is too high to be even considered as a safe investment. If you are not bitcoin holder then that is what you believe but it will be different for holder Yes if your plan is to hold bitcoins for next 4 to 5 years then you can buy it even now as in next 5 years the price of bitcoins will be really high but to hold that long you should have patience and should not disappointed even if you see downfall in the price but if you are looking for quick profits then this is not the right time to buy bitcoins. |

Hey guys, my name is Thamos and I'm fairly new to Bitcoin. I've been reading up on Bitcoin for like, only, 2/3 weeks now. I was already planning on investing but I wanted to have a bit more knowledge about it all. I guess now I do.
I was just wondering, seeing how Bitcoin's price has increased by a lot over the last couple days, when would be best for me to hop in the pool. Should I buy now or should I wait till the price drops (even if it's only by a small percentage)?
I'm just looking for some advice. Thanks a lot!
its up to you sir but my advise to you is dont wait just invest now or if you want to invest or to win? try to buy bitcoins if the value of bitcoin goes down and then you need to hold it until the time that if you want to sell it . it is your decision. Price of bitcoin is low now if we compare to the price of last 2 days which gives me a feeling that its a good price to buy bitcoins as price will start recovering once again in next couple of days or weeks and if you buy it now and hold at least till end of the month then you will be making good profits in one month's time. |

I will invest majority of my money in Ethereum as it can go to $1k in future and can give me best profits on my investments and in short term will keep on trading with monero, ripple, waves and many more that can give me good profits regularly.

10 btc - hold for the future without doing anything
2 btc - invest in multiple altcoins and start making profits as it will also help you in growing your bitcoins in long term.

I sold some bitcoins at $11k price 2 days back and I think it was the right decision to make as price started to fall after that and it was giving me best profits so without thinking much I sold bitcoins and collected the profits and now with that profits I am planning to buy some bitcoins today as price is good to buy.

No one's forcing anyone to always buy 1btc, you can always buy fractions of it like 0.1 or so. Also, by many speculations on forum and by some experts, bitcoin is to hit the 10+ in the next year and $20k+ at 2020-2022 and that's a 100% rise from the todays price. It may be difficult for someone to invest $8k but surely 1-2k would be good for a 100% profit in 2 years. I don't know but the price is still relatively "low" for what's it speculated to be in a 5+ years.
Many people are afraid to buy bitcoin because it was not long ago when you had the chance to buy bitcoin for just a few hundred dollars but we all missed that opportunity and now we need to pay 10k just to get one bitcoin, a person that invested 10k when bitcoin was 200 dollars a piece is having amazing profits already. That's correct people who have bought bitcoins at below 500 usd price has already became rich and are enjoying great profits now and it won't be easy now to buy bitcoins as price is almost 10000 usd which is too high and if you buy now and if price crashes then it can make you panic and can bring huge loss for you. |
