21  Economy / Economics / Re: [Survey] Have you ever heard of cryptocurrency? on: July 03, 2018, 01:29:34 PM
In my country this survey would be looking completely different,  there are so many advertisements last days about cryptocurrencies blockchain and all those companies providing their services, so I can thing that almost everybody in my country is knowing.
Its good when people know what cryptocurrency and blockchain really are, but to be honest I don't think that is enough. What is more important is the number of people that are using crypto, and not only in your country. Number of users needs to grow, and if people know what blockchain truly is and are not using it, everything will fade away eventually...

I'm pretty sure that the last $5k mark crash id going to be the last of it. It bounces back easily and a few more months, we could see bitcoin going unstoppable on the last quarter. I'll be honest that I panicked a little and I'm sure some of you did too.

I never had a doubt that BTC will come back to 20k again. Watching those curves every day and I still think the same way, BTC will not go down under 6k. Maybe it'll go up to 7-8k and then drop a little but in the end it'll reach 10-15-20k. We'll see soon enough.
You sounds like bitcoin's price is already at $20k,  I wish I was as optimistic as you. Also your speculation about end price, I don't know if you thought on end of this year or end in general, but range from 10k-20k is a bit too large don't you think? You are right in one thing tho... We shell see.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: [Survey] Have you ever heard of cryptocurrency? on: July 02, 2018, 02:30:05 PM
It's great to see the popularity of crypto is rising, but a bit sad to see that not many people owning crypto, and I believe most of the people want crypto because of the price that keep on rising, but I still happened to see the data, with increasing popularity there will be more developments for crypto in the future
Indeed, almost everyone that possess crypto keep it because of price rising. In other words, for them crypto is an asset and not currency. Which is sad indeed, but that will continue as such until crypto becomes as usable as fiat currencies. But that I don't expect to happen soon.  Also with increase of crypto users, everythiny becomes better.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The " I told you so " people are working on my tits! on: June 28, 2018, 06:37:17 PM
Mainly you can’t blame one particular coins because you need to blame all the market because this market is suffering for price based on this in june the price of btc little increased but after this hacking this price again fall which is really frustrating.
What are you talking about? Did you even bother to read what OP wrote? And not to mention your terrible English...
Please STOP making posts like this, they are off topic and simply said shitpost. You need to improve ASAP,  otherwise there could be consequences.
25  Economy / Economics / Re: [Survey] Have you ever heard of cryptocurrency? on: June 27, 2018, 06:33:35 PM
The data is pretty descriptive. Nevertheless, I did not expect the results to be so high. Europe started to understand cryptocurrencies'  value. This awareness will increase every passing day. By the way, it is also quite surprising that a bank made this survey.
You should not be as surprised, because who would do this better than the banks. They want to explore their options on the matter. To see statistics about peoples who are involved or not, and to find best approach for making money out of it. Crypto could change a lot, and banks would suffer a lot if they don't adept.
26  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Drops Below $6,500 on: June 27, 2018, 12:47:41 PM
Last April Bitcoin was around 1K and now it doesnt seem to want to go below $6100 in a bear market so that is a 500% increase which may bring us to around 30k by this time next year.
Bitcoin's price hitting $30k till the end of this year... that is just a wild guess, there's no real prof for something like that.
I don't say that its impossible. But in best case scenario, chances for that are almost as equal to impossible.
We would all like to see something like that, but lets be honest here. With everything that is going on lately with bitcoin's market and with crime fighting, do you really think that people will just run toward bitcoin and buy it in enormous amounts? Nah, things needs to settle down a bit first. Maybe next year tho, who knows.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: cash farm, game paying with bitcoin on: June 26, 2018, 09:21:55 PM
okay i will do suggestion you suggest, i will come out soon and i will remove the bot app. so I do not keep hoping on the game
This is first time I heard about this game, and I must say that there are a lot of scams out there so be careful.
But that doesn't necessary mean that this game is scam also. In best case scenario, payment is so low that it doesn't pay out to lose time over it.
To be honest, this reminds me of those apps that uses your resources and at the end you are left with nothing.
Either way, its best if you leave that behind.
28  Economy / Economics / Re: [Survey] Have you ever heard of cryptocurrency? on: June 26, 2018, 07:34:52 PM
Its interesting to see something like this. And to be honest, I have not thought some statistics would be as high.
But still, percentage of those who owns or will own crypto in the future is too low. It would be nice if those numbers rise a bit, don't you think?
Also I am not surprised that most of people would not want  current way of getting payment or paying in general to change. But who knows, maybe that will change in the future.
Crypto-currencies are still new... so I guess that my expectations were a bit too high.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The " I told you so " people are working on my tits! on: June 26, 2018, 06:41:15 PM
Every living soul that has invested into bitcoin or some other crypto had that problem. And if they didn't, they will in the future. That is something we should get used to, because limited people will always judge.
You are right when you say that what matter the most is your own opinion, and maybe only after opinion of some other people.
Oh and those people who says that bitcoin is scam, but they don't know basic things about it... They are even more annoying than those "IKnowItAll" guys.

Also, tell them how rich would they have been if they've just invested at the bottom.
I like this statement! Will have to remember it, so next time when some smartass tell me something I can fire this back.  Grin
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Using an old laptop to learn about mining Bitcoin on: June 25, 2018, 03:01:17 PM
As you already know, you will not be able to make considerable profit with that specs. But for learning, that will be more than enough I guess.

When we talk about pool mining, I see no problem in doing what you plan to do. You wouldn't be a nuisance as part of a pool, because you will only contribute you hash rate when you'r online and nothing when you'r off.

As for OS, there I can't help you much. Personally I use Windows, but you don't want that so... I have hear that Linux is good for mining too, but I don't know the details.

I guess you already have some coin on your mind that you want to mine and a pool which you will be using. If you need more info just ask.
There is nothing more to do than to wish you best of luck in your search for knowledge.  Smiley

PS It would be interesting to see your coin on the market.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Drops Below $6,500 on: June 25, 2018, 01:09:23 PM
Bitcoin has seen a very low price for this year and I think it will come down to $5500 within this month end. There are several factors for the downfall of Bitcoin like the most famous exchanges got hacked and the Japanese regulation on their countries exchanges which lead to closure of their exchange due to KYC norms not followed strictly.
There is nothing I can say about hack, that isn't already said. But as far as KYC is concerned, I guess things like that was inevitable. If we want for bitcoin to become worlds currency, that things like money laundering must be stopped. If certain people use bitcoin for criminal act and goes unpunished, common people will see bitcoin as an criminal thing... which is bad. So KYC regulation is trying to prevent that.
No one can say for how long with this continue to go on, but I am almost 100 percent sure that this will not be the downfall of Bitcoin.
32  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Drops Below $6,500 on: June 24, 2018, 08:07:48 PM
Yes it is and it even went deeper as it touched down 5,000$. Many new topics are posted on this forum as bitcoin hits 5,000$ speculating that bitcoin will go down even more. We can't deny bitcoin's market volatility so there is no reason for me to be surprise or hate bitcoin because it is what it is. All i have to do is to hold my bitcoin and i am pretty sure that bitcoin is going to be alright soon.
Things that happened to Bithumb had strong impact on bitcoin's market, and major things like that will always do. Also with everything that is going on, few FUDs here and there, its no wonder that the price dropped.
It could fall even more yes, but I doubt that it will go under $5000. Even $5000 is low, because investors know that this is great chance for getting more coins for low price.
Price will fluctuate a bit before it starts recovering, this roller coaster has to end right. So keep hodling! Wink
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Terminal for buying bitcoin. on: June 24, 2018, 05:46:45 PM
I think its a great initiative. It will help all the user and I think it is legal because as far as I know that bitcoin is legal in your country. So, where the bitcoin is legal than bitcoin atm will be defintely legal in your country.

If there is ATM for Bitcoin exchange, that doesn't necessary mean that Bitcoin is totally legal in that country or that its legal at all (not sure about Ukraine tho) . You see, for example here in my country there are several ATMs where users can buy or sell their coins. But as far as I know, there is no law that proclaim Bitcoin or crypto in general a legal way of paying. So I guess crypto is in gray area, because I can use my coins, but country has no laws about it. For me everything will stay good, except if government forbid using of crypto. Smiley
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Terminal for buying bitcoin. on: June 23, 2018, 12:20:56 PM
I don't see why wouldn't it be legal? I suppose that firm which owns that ATM pats taxes and all, just like any other exchange office that deals with foreign fiat currencies. So its legal exchange, because part of that money goes to government. There are few ATMs like that in my country, and like in Ukraine Bitcoin is not proclaimed as legal currency, but still its not forbidden to use it as way of paying... as long as taxes are paid.

The problem is that governments usually impose restrictions like Know Your Customer norms and Anti Money Laundering requirements on companies like these. If you have an ATM where you can transact anonymously, then you might be technically breaking some law.
I am sure the operators of these ATMs would have considered all this....
Money laundering is serious thing, so I understand what your saying, and obviously it is a big problem for exchange companies. But honestly, people will always find another way to conduct their "business". It will pass a lot of time before things like this gets confined and stopped.
I fear that at the end we will get something like banking system that we already have, for "security and safety purposes". Or at least that is what the governments are going to say.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WARNING!!! Antminer E9+ eth asic EMAILS are SCAMS Do not buy on: June 21, 2018, 09:09:41 PM
Thanks for the warning. I didn't get the mail, but things like this are serious and people should be aware of it. Maybe it was not leak of informations on bitmain side. There is possibility that it was random, or maybe they got your emails from somewhere else.

Sure, an email can be scooped up from somewhere - that happens all the time. But my address, phone numbers etc are not spread world wide, so they appear to come directly from Bitmains databases.
I can only imagine how you feel, I know I would be pissed off among other things. I don't want to offend you or anything and I know its easy for me to speak, but what can I do, I'm an optimistic.
Surely this is a hard blow for Bitmain, a serious problem they will have to deal with no doubt.
But maybe its not as big security breach as we think. Maybe its only one or two stupid employees that thought they could earn some money on the side. I know this is a bit optimistic, but its still possible, right?
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 570 8GB V RX 580 4GB ??? on: June 21, 2018, 07:09:24 PM
Depends on which algorithm you would like to mine. If you would like to go for coin like ETH (or ETH itself), than definitely go with 8Gb one. Simply because DAG size increase from time to time, and that is one more reason why you would want card with as much ram as possible. For now 3Gb is enough, but for how long will it stay like that. At the end I see that you (OP), swogerino and I share the same opinion.
37  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Drops Below $6,500 on: June 21, 2018, 06:57:44 PM
The market for sure looks like it is really going to be testing some pretty low point and it is hard to tell at which point it will end up bouncing back for recovery, but from what we are seeing so far and the possibilities of hitting low, $4800 region sounds possible.
No one can say for sure which way and how much bitcoin's price can go. But nah, I doubt it will go as low as $4800, that would be too low if you ask me (but still not impossible). If bitcoin's price dropped to $5500, people would buy as much as they could, which would boost price beck up.
I think that it will stay in price range of $6000-7500 for one more month at least, and only after I expect slow rising in its price. So yes, holding now is maybe best option for all, and also buying more coins  Wink

39  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Drops Below $6,500 on: June 20, 2018, 10:38:09 PM
Now the market starts to move in a good direction, so if you have bitcoin just hold it for some time instead of selling. The price of bitcoin starts to increase slightly hope it will continue in near future. Now itself it crossed $6,500, so dont get panic and sell. All are expect by the end of this year it will reach 20k and prove this year also the year of bitcoin like last year. So with hope and patience just hold the bitcoin.
What I see here is pure optimism, and hoping for best outcome. Yes price of bitcoin has start rising again, but there is no guarantee that it will continue to do so. It could start going down again you know.
There are some insane predictions about bitcoin's price at the end of this year, but I think we should be happy if it reach stable price of $13k.
But I agree that for some people holding is best option. For some there isn't any other option, but to hold and hope for the best.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Wich is the algorithm more profitable? on: June 20, 2018, 06:21:38 PM
if you are asic miner then mine scrypt ..... if mining with gpu then .... neosrypt..
Neoscrypt can be profitable,  but not all the time. Sometimes lyra2 can be even better. I guess that all depends on the moment and hardware that you use. Guess that using software that gives you ability to mine two algorithm is good choice.  Wink
