I reverted to the previous version. I just wasn't feeling the new design. It's too simple and the color scheme wasn't an improvement to the 'darkness' of the previous site.
This wasn't my decision to change the site, but I agreed to it. Now I'm stepping in and reverting to the previous version.
I want the new site, whenever it may be released, to be jaw dropping awesome, both visually and practically. I'm sure Ben will work on it until it reaches that level. ou Thanks for your opinions.
I know it's easy to criticize but I breathed with relief to see you reverted to the previous version of the site. I'm not in design business but the new version looked like we traveled in time to 2002, with colors acting as a successful deterrent to many people who would like to read the content. I understand the old version is quite heavy but the new one was definitely a step back or more. As we need a new website, does it mean that the html code for translation will change substantially? The Polish translation is nearly finished and I would prefer to work on a new file to avoid duplicate work. Thanks for your contribution. The html will not change substantially for now. We have other matters that we need to concentrate our efforts and a new website design is not an immediate priority.

Thanks! I see a few that are not on the services page, so I'll get it updated. Also, I have rolled some dice at http://cgb.altdice.net/

wow...the new website design feels like 2 steps back. I could see that work with black, grey and white but the blue is just...almost random...why that awful blue ?
I think its the two different blues that are being used here. I do like the cool steel blue on the sides but the top needs to be changed.. perhaps the top banner can be a very dark shade of the steel blue or something else. So, my own opinion about the website is similar. I think it's easier to navigate this new website, but it's a bit too simple. I let Ben run with it just to keep things fresh.
Let me know what are your suggestions. I personally like the previous version better. But this is a lighter version and there were a few complaints about the older site being too dark.
The website design will never satisfy everyone's tastes, but let me know how Ben should modify it. If we get a resounding response to go back to the previous version then we'll do so...
I agree that the website has made a jump forward in respect to useability. The old site was good for presentation but poor for navigation. I'm liking the social media tabs on the side but even their color scheme may have room for improvement as far as leaning towards a little more professional. Its great that we are making changes and keeping it fresh! I believe the lighter scheme can work, but it has to focus on professional image which might be easier in a dark scheme. Perhaps we can Photoshop some other suggestions together as a community and post them here to see if anyone likes it. For now, if we can do something about that blue on the top I think we will be doing alright. Regarding my marketing ideas I have jumped in with such excitement that I forgot to check if I'm reinventing the wheel. Does Ben frequent this board or what's a good way to spark some collaboration? You can contact Ben at publicrelations@cryptogenicbullion.org to discuss your ideas. Thanks!

It's supposed to be centralized though. That seems to be the point behind it, and is why the central banks are supporting it.
I have not seen any code or white paper of how it scales compared to BTC, but it's supposed to scale much better. Banks know they cannot compete with crypto currencies both in cost and time to transfer money electronically. So this is central banks fighting for their financial lives...using similar technology to compete with respect to cost and time. IF accepted and adopted by the central banks, we'll probably see BTC/USD surpassed by BTC/KLX on all major BTC exchanges in volume. And it will probably be the main gateway to move between the crypto economy and the fiat-based economies. It indeed seems to be like a Ripple specifically between banks, with each bank having its own gateway to the crypto economy.

Think about this:
Why announce to sell one perfectly viable currency for his own? Why not announce to buy Maxcoin alonside Quarkcoin?
---
If this scum bag was truly genuine about fighting for liberty then he wouldn't blatantly contradict this movement with such a message.
He basically just said, "It's about the capital gains folks! QRK has had its run! No need to own it anymore! Now time to profit with Maxcoin! And feed my narcissism even moarrr!"
Whereas, I have seen Bill Still videos (granted, I haven't seen many) of him 'advising' selling gold/fiat in exchange for Bitcoin AND QRK.
Still's message reinforces this movement. Keiser's message weakens this movement.

Hi Elambert, I could not find any information about premind in thread. Would you mind to tell me that what is the percentage of premind for this one. Cheers.
0.94% was pre-mined and used for promotion and support. Here is a link to the detailed ledger: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=246300.0very impressive for the transparency of the premind. The more I understand about this coin the more it convinced me to buy more. Just bought another 2k today. Congrats Percy! Sounds like your on your way to the 5k club! That's awesome. BTW, we are becoming more active on the cryptocointalk.org forum since the owners of this forum are considering shutting down all altcoin subforums. Moreover, we're getting coordinated to properly launch/moderate our own forum. And new website to keep things fresh will be released very soon.

Great work my friend!
Thanks! I'm guessing that the new website will be at the same domain ? ~ The metal in the drafts above has been re-set quite often tbh, so its not presented quite as pristinely as it will be for retail with added quality control. Still, the cards are better than paper money imho, will help to advertise CGB and also make for a nice gift set / collectable item. Yep, same domain.

Final Cryptogenic Bullion Cards - 1st draft - Premiere Edition. Rounded corners and fully black text to further enhance the metal / 'bullion' featured. The Silver and 9ct Gold pieces have arrived in stock to start production. The technique for setting the metal has also been improved for production. 100 Premiere Edition cards (approx.) for each metal will be produced with demand. The 1st - Premiere Edition - 2 card set should appear on ebay over this weekend. The aim being to attact physical metal / coin / numismatic collectors to the world of crypto-currency and specifically CGB. The auction will include one of finitebydesigns hologram cards pre-loaded with 1 GCB. Link to follow. my half-ass meme reply: *shut up and take my money!*

Question buddy why in my cgminer for CGB solo the diff says 0 is that because of the pos blocks? Should I not be solo right now??
Sounds odd. I reverted to solo for a while when the hash rate dropped, but you are probably better off in a pool still, depending on your hashrate. http://gcb.smalltimeminer.com is probably the better choice of pool right now. can you check this link what is going on https://i.imgur.com/XqniH3D.pngwhat's your config file look like?

Are deposits to Cryptsy still taking over 24 hours to post? I've been using Vircurex ever since Cryptsy has had prolonged deposit issues.
