21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people who do not understand Bitcoin slander Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2021, 08:35:20 PM
After the recent bleak market. Many people do not even understand the basic principles of Bitcoin and blockchain knowledge, so they attack Bitcoin. What kind of mental state is this?

There are lots of reasons to such reactions. First of all they are afraid, afraid of new things, afraid of possible risks, afraid of something they do not understand, some people boost selfesteem in such away just attacking others or via criticism of different things. And it happens not only with Bitcoin or crypto currencies, such kind of people always find some object without any analysis and attack it until they are satisfied. So it is just an ordinary story.

23  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 🕵️‍♂️Student Coin Team are Scammers in Disguise, Refused Paying Hunters Reward on: May 25, 2021, 11:49:51 AM
This is not first time that Bounty hunters are not getting their fair reward or payment. If the project fail to reach their goal and can't survive anymore it another matter. But when successful project like them do such things its really matter of sorrow for hunters who worked hard to help project. I think all the forums like bitcointalkand, altcointalk should take action against this. There should a rule that every team have to escrowed their bounty budget to the forum authority or any specific group or personal.

You are quite right, everyone understand that will not get some reward in case the project did not reached the cap or something else. But this project successfully reached their goal and it looked like soo promising and perspective. Lots of us believed in it. First in my life I feel like a robbed person in such a rude and sophisticated way. Really I personally have not expected this from this project. Despite all my long and successful period in crypto after STC project I was really shocked in a really unpleasant way. In case such kind of things will not be stopped every project's CEO will think that it is normal and will do the same with other hunters and people who promoted them during 12 weeks. And in case they can act with hunters, their will do such things with investors as well. Impunity is a very strong thing. Yes, nowadays I can say loudly that - yes, I am extremely disappointed with the Student Coin project, I regret deeply that I have been promoting and supported them. They are cheaters.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The World's Largest Electronic Music Store Accepts Bitcoin on: April 22, 2021, 04:52:59 PM
Beatport, the world's largest online music store for DJs, will start accepting bitcoins in June, according to a report released today by Music Week.
Beatpert CEO Robb McDaniels claims that the music community wants to take the lead in embracing this new technology:
"It's clear that, even in the midst of a pandemic, the DJ/Producer community is willing to lead the industry towards embracing new technology and innovative mediums for engaging with their fans, and the world of cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens are a clear example of this fact."
Founded in 2003, BitPort quickly became a global online music market where DJs could purchase tracks they played throughout their series.

Beatport’s NFT
In addition to accepting bitcoins, BitPort will also release its first NFT series, Music for Future Dance Floors.
The collection includes 10 exclusive tracks from world-famous DJs, including Boys Noize, who has collaborated with Lady Gaga on her latest album.
Last week, Kings of Leon released their latest album, NFT. Shawn Mendes and The Weeknd are some of the most famous musicians to join the latest crypto craze.

It is clear that the DJs, producers, singers, musicians community is trying to lead the industry towards new technologies and innovative things in order to have some bond with their fans. Especially in this period of different lockdowns and limitations, that influence on their career and businesses in not positive way mostly. And the world of cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens gives them lots of new and good opportunities to them, it is a fact. Lots of people of Art and such kind of businesses revalued the impact of crypto and nowadays try to use such opportunities. And it is a good moment for crypto world.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust centralized exchanges? on: April 22, 2021, 04:25:19 PM
I think you heard the last news about the Turkish stock exchange:
https://decrypt.co/68703/billion-dollar-rug-pull-turkish-bitcoin-exchange-goes-dark
Customers fear a rug pull as Turkish crypto exchange Thodex abruptly halted trading.
At any time, money can be blocked for an unknown time.
Recently, I have not been trading on centralized exchanges and have kept as much money there as it’s not a pity to lose

In my opinion everyone should follow this golden rule - to keep on the exchange such an amount that is not afraid to loose in case something goes wrong, and it does not depend on whether it is centralized or decentralized exchange. Nobody and nothing can guarantee you the full safety for your assets. The risk is really may be high and unnecessary.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gmail classify as SPAM email that ask a payment in bitcoin! on: April 22, 2021, 04:15:57 PM
Hi guys,
I was talking with a buyer of postal history via email.
He request to pay with paypal and I have refused, sending the following short message:
*(translated) I don't have Paypal. I accept payment with crypto (bitcoin / ethereum / litecoin etc).

Guess What? The email has been rejected by GMAIL!
"Message blocked because it contains content identified as spam."

have you ever seen something like this?

Personally I have never faced the problem of such kind. Regularly use Gmail, and lots of my friends who are ingaged in crypto, use it, and everything is going on without any questions like that. May be there was some other reason that you did not notice. Very often really valuable mails get into the spam box and even when such words like bitcoin or crypto were not mentioned. Sometimes their inner policy is hard to understand and explain.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk please stop messing up the crypto market on: April 22, 2021, 03:28:39 PM
Am I the only one who finds his tweets and market manipulation annoying?

A lot of newbies falling into the trap unfortunately. BTC is strong and won't be affected too much but Dogecoin is just increasing its pump and dump reputation. Sad.

Personally it does not annoy me too much. Of course where the money lots of people who would like to raise personal assets or funds always will be. He is the one of such kind. The other thing how people are ready and do it - filter the information and other things. So for such things in order to help people to sort the information this forum is. It will really help for those who is ready to check and learn information in deep. For others who do not want to do this nobody will prevent from mistakes. Doges is a bright example of greedy and may be even not wise steps.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The old fiat days are behind us! on: April 22, 2021, 01:41:28 PM
When someone says, "but the performance of gold as an asset lasts 5,000 years"

You might be able to point out: "And then the arrival of the railroad, together with the horseless carriage, rendered the animals as transport obsolete."

Basically, computers, the web, mobile phones, and the internet are all expanded, improved versions of existing technologies. upgrading technology and techniques, actively doing something completely different for thousands of years. So, the future of currency (which is crypto) is here!

I can not agree that times of fiat money we have already passed. Of course there is a really high chances to see someday our world with the usage of contactless way of payments, we have lots of  premises to this. But will it be total absence of fiat money or not it is hard to say nowadays. And in my opinion it hardly will happen. Too many directions where fiat will be still used.
29  Local / Идеи / Re: Честные выборы - на базе криптовалюты on: April 22, 2021, 01:09:16 PM
ну до 2038 года можно что то придумать Cheesy

30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's gonna buy Tesla using Bitcoin? on: April 21, 2021, 12:27:59 PM
Would you buy Tesla using your Bitcoin or you will wait to $100K?  Roll Eyes

When I heard about Tesla car first in my life, it looked like something fascinating and great. And in case there was opportunity to buy Tesla in those days, may be yes, may be I would bought it. But after some time especially nowadays personally I would not choose it because of different reasons. But it depends on personal preferences. I would choose the more suitable variant for me - starting from the  model, manufacture and opportunities of maintenance in my country. What about Bitcoin, hope we really will see $100k in price.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cars That Can Be Purchased with Bitcoin on: April 21, 2021, 12:14:44 PM
This post is really awesome. I have read the whole article and really was pleasantly surprised. I liked that Bob Moore Auto group partnered with Aliant Payments, and this enabled the payments not only with Bitcoin, but with Ethereum and Litecoin also. Of course I would not nowadays buy some car with Eth, even do not want to imagine what the gas will be for transaction. But it shows us that really lots of companies are accepting crypto and the less and less amount of people afraid to do this. It is really good steps!
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin last till infinity on: April 21, 2021, 11:48:08 AM
I believed that bitcoin will not last because of government policy is against bitcoin and many people is seeing bitcoin as a scam, so with such points I don't think bitcoin will stay till 2030, and if bitcoin stay till then that means it will stay till further notice.
Please am not here to criticised cryptocurrency but from the attacks government attacks crypto I think such will come in reality.

Governments in lots of countries are struggling with drugs, or casinos for example. But there are lots of countries that legalise those things. Or in case they do not allow such things, in this case such directions exist on dark markets. There are such things that are unlikely to disappear one day, because they are always required by different people. As for crypto - there are lots of opportunities and potential things for development, that thousands of people will need and will make everything in order to find the way how to use and get it even in case it will be forbidden or limited in some way. But look at lots of countries and businesses that are accepting crypto and Bitcoin nowadays. In my opinion crypto is a rehearsal before some great changes will come on our planet in economy, way of payments and so on. And in case we will be able to see those changes you will recall my words.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC's crisis time is coming on: April 21, 2021, 11:33:01 AM
In recent days, the trading volume of many DOGE exchanges has ahead of  BTC.BTC's market share is decreasing and its value will be revalued

------add-----new------------

The money are limited,The market value of btc is too high, and it takes too much capital to rise ,DOGE is small

1)DOGE UP-> BTC DOWN->OTHERS DOWN->DOGE DOWN->Faith collapses->GAME OVER

The money are limited,When DOGE rises, money comes out of btc, and the market is established by btc, faith collapses, and other coins fall, and they all die, and DOGE can’t escape.

2)DOGE UP-> BTC DOWN->OTHERS DOWN->DOGE DOWN->DOGE UP AGAiN&NEW COIN UP->OTHERS UP->BTC marginalization

There are always hotspots in the currency market, we can continue to play,

------------(My native language is not English, use Google Translate)

I can not agree with you. I am not sure that the whole market is concentrated on Doge and Bitcoin only. And I do not consider the Dogecoin to be so important that you have showed us on those schemes. The increasing and decreasing of Bitcoin's price is a normal and repeating thing. What about the destiny of Dogecoin - nowadays it is being talked a lot, but the day when it will be forgotten will come. But Bitcoin will stay. And we all know why.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 20th April dogecoin day on: April 20, 2021, 12:52:42 PM
Dogecoin, a coin created in 2013 as a joke, has become the 4th,
cryptocurrency in market capitalization. Dogecoin with a market capitalization of 54 billion dollars, late last week when its price did an all-time high of $0.43  the meme cryptocurrency has witnessed great support from high personality e.g Elon Musk eco, Tesla.

Since the creation of dogecoin on April 20th has been celebrated as dogecoin day, a day where dogecoin fans take a day off to celebrate dogecoin. This has been the tradition since the creation of the coin in 2013.

Analysts and experts have predicted that this year’s celebration will push the price of dogecoin to $0.59 a new all-time high.

What are your views on this?

I am really shocked about the situation with those coins. The really joking and fascinating situation. The trading volume is not very impressing, and the all power of Dogecoin is that it is talked about a lot, and that is all. The more it is talked about, the higher the price. The Coin of enthusiasts. The more interesting situation will be when nobody will talk about this coin at all, especially very famous people.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bought my vitamins with Bitcoin on: April 19, 2021, 12:21:43 PM
For several years, I have been maintaining my overall well-being by taking US-made vitamins with the same brand since late 2013. I usually order them both offline and online, either paying it through cash, bank transfer or debit card. Until now, I am still a proud user of it. It really helped managed my anxiety and panic attack symptoms, as well as better sleep quality, extra stamina during the day, better metabolism, etc.

But I stopped ordering online for 2 years. In order to save me some shipping fees, I have decided to order it from a good friend who is a licensed distributor of the vitamins product.

One day, I realized that my stocks are almost running out. So I called him to meet me to get my vitamins. My friend already have a Bitcoin wallet, but never really used it. So I asked him if he liked to be paid by Bitcoin this time, and he eventually said yes.

So I just scanned his QR code and paid him the amount (there was zero fee because of using the same wallet). And there you have it, my first Bitcoin peer to peer transaction with my friend for the vitamins.

My good friend is happy, and he doesn’t mind me to use Bitcoin again to transact with him. I don’t mind how long will BTC be massively adopted, at least it’s good to spread awareness and advocacy about it.

Great idea. Really. Mass adoption starts from everyone of us. In your situation it was a transaction for vitamins. I personally know people that made a deal with selling/buying car and one guy did not have enough money in dollars, they decided to transact the sum partially in Bitcoins. Everyone was happy. The other thing is that it is good when you have found such friends or trustworthy people that are ingaged into crypto world. Not everyone has such close and deeply involved into crypto people. But in case people will see that it is real and possible the level of mass adoption will be rising more and more.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM in a gas station on: April 19, 2021, 12:11:18 PM
The use of bitcoin ATM is becoming more and more popular in the cities and the latest is a bitcoin ATM installed in a gas station in the Montana and delis, having a bitcoin ATM in a gas station is another milestone for the entire usage of bitcoin what I can tell is if one can pay for gas using bitcoin in the station but the fact is bitcoin is gaining widespread adoption. What are your takes on this new development.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-crypto-currencies-atms-idUSKBN2B714L?utm_campaign=trueAnthem%3A+Trending+Content&utm_medium=trueAnthem&utm_source=facebook

Not every ATM draws lines of customers, it is true. And may be someone will consider the fee variety diapason not suitable, but in my opinion it is good that such ATMs appear, and the opportunity to use them appears for those who will prefer ATM to online payment. All in all in case lots of people that visit gas station may prefer to buy in some mini shop there something to eat instead of water. It does not mean that the water should not be on the shelves. There will be some clients that will search for water. And it is good that people of businesses or companies think about different things that can make their business to get on higher level. Because crypto gives such an opportunity.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you say you made money if you never actally sell your coins? on: April 16, 2021, 11:53:03 AM

Imagine that you made investment into gold or real estate for example. Can you say that you make money? Yes, of course. You just haven't sold your part in it yet, but your money, that you spent, is working in this investment. The other thing when are going to cash it out and is it really important for you right now. In case you desire to get your income nowadays of course you may and will get your profit physically nowadays in your native money or dollars or whatever. In case you would like to keep your invested money touchless till some moment will come you may leave them in the invested part. But they will still be working. It is like passive part, but it exists and is considered to be your asset. The same situation is with Bitcoin and crypto. The main important thing in this story is only your choice - to hold or not. And the key moment is to keep your finger on the pulse in order not to loose everything.

Interesting idea. I haven't heard about it earlier. Key idea to make the society better understand the crypto via movies is great, because very often people's attention is attracted more by visual objects, it works better. I can not make a film, but it would be great in case ordinary people would have the access to the filmotek of authors from such festivals. It would help the idea to reach a wider audience. Personally I would watch them with great pleasure.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Online Education, the future of learning? on: April 15, 2021, 06:44:29 PM
The year 2020 made us realize that we should be prepared for anything. So many jobs have been lost, businesses and establishments were closing. Schools have closed entirely as well.

So we are now into this new age that most of the things we are doing are online. Food, grocery, shopping, and most importantly, education. Schools have created modules for what they call distant learning. I know this is not that new, but I am just curious to know if this pandemic will change everything we know about.

I am not new to crypto or blockchain but I don't have any extensive knowledge regarding the technicalities. Do you guys think that there is a use case for blockchain on online education?

May be it is a high time to use Blockchain in educational process, but first the evaluating system and testing programmes should become technically better, without bugs and be accessible for all pupils or students. Because nowadays in lots of countries there are lots of problems with this system.
Cheesy

Между прочим этот вариант сейчас очень хорошо приносит доход, даже в белые списки нелегко попасть, особенно на таких платформах как полька стартер, так что сейчас выгодно быть инвестором, а не холдером и даже выгоднее, чем быть трейдером.
