202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What causes tokens been dumped after a successful ICO. on: February 08, 2019, 05:20:13 PM
There were a lot of publications on this occasion. Always after a successful ICO there is a short-term pump. Then, the cryptocurrency rate drops sharply and it takes a very long time for the cryptocurrency to grow again to the previous values or higher. Jan balina published a very cool schedule on this topic, but I couldn't find it.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Post-ICO Bounty? on: February 08, 2019, 05:07:19 AM
There is a second side to the coin. If you participate in an ordinary bounty, then after the success of the project, the tokens obtained for the bounty can bring you huge profits with the growth of the coin rate. And if the price of the cryptocurrency is already known, the developers can regulate the number of tokens paid for the bounty.

205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please let's halt the Madness of Everyday New Cryptocurrency Release on: February 07, 2019, 05:40:41 PM
Until there is a full verification and regulation of the ICO, many projects will be released. Remember HYIP, you will not be able to count how many of them already... The same thing happens with ICO
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized vs centralized cryptocurrency exchanges, which one is better? on: February 06, 2019, 03:06:36 PM
Now there are hybrid exchanges. I think the future belongs to them. For example, at the development stage, the qurrex project.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you participate in crowdfunding? on: February 06, 2019, 03:00:50 PM
Very strange question about participation. All life people invest in order to make a profit. Why should an investor invest in an idea without making a profit? Otherwise, it would be charity.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to invest to have pasive income on: February 06, 2019, 02:56:29 PM
I can advise the exchange https://bitmax.io It pays a percentage of daily trading of all cryptocurrencies to BTMX token holders.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: KillFish.io - economic game [ETH] on: February 04, 2019, 06:33:05 PM
The game is very original. Only who will play it? To promote the project you need to run a bounty, otherwise it will remain in the shadow of many projects.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: February 04, 2019, 06:18:19 PM
I think it will be possible to get rid of fraud to some extent, if ICO projects for passing the KYC will use The "telegram passport".

212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poll-Optimal coin distribution on: February 01, 2019, 09:24:04 AM
I think airdrop is best as everyone can get in on the distribution fairly easily. And no risk of scam.

With the help of airdrop is the distribution of a large number of people who just register. And as a result, no one gets a normal profit. It is better to conduct a bounty campaign and charge tokens to those people who helped to promote the project. Mutually beneficial cooperation!
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 crypto games you should be investing in today on: February 01, 2019, 08:26:33 AM
I very much doubt that these games will bring profit to investors. It is better to invest in projects that are on everyone's lips and will bring real benefits to the world of cryptography.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you run a signature campaign on an external platform? on: January 30, 2019, 02:31:39 PM
Hello.
In view of more responses to our project, well our project is TeamBounty https://teambounty.com and we  are also making it possible for any project to professionally run a signature campaign and pay participants easily. Easy tracking, simple dashboard and straight forward task verification process and simple release payment structure.

My question is, will you join a campaign of such as a hunter? And as the Manager or project owner, will you rather choose to run your signature campaign on an external platform.?

Thanks for your response!

I think you should make a limit on the number of participants for bounty campaigns, because many bounty platforms pay a penny after the completion of bounty campaigns because of the huge number of users. This will create a certain entourage around the platform and it will make sense to track campaigns on it.
However, I do not know how the project developers will react to the restriction on the participants in the bounty.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges manipulation. Can't withdraw during the pump. on: January 30, 2019, 04:18:29 AM
I was buying in some coins n wanted to trade or sell my coins but the exchange decided to do maintenance. I felt the exchange was poorly handled. I lost a few hundreds that I couldn't trade. This is a small exchange that was selling a new coin. Entering crypto is surely the wild wild west. It was hotbit.io
Everyone was selling while I was holding. Did the exchange decided to cash out on a different exchange? Probably never know what there doing.

Here is rating popular exchanges, can be use to anyone https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges?view=social And if you are new to the world of cryptocurrencies, then first read the reviews about the exchanges.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT Tether safe? on: January 29, 2019, 06:16:24 PM
I am not a big fan of centralized stable coins like USDT. It is backed by $ but the real problem is how to control it, and audit it all the time. Some doubt will always be present. I have more faith in decentralized solutions like DAI has.

I personally don't understand why people decided not to give Tether the credit which it is due, there is no Sable coin in the space now that is well capitalized as Tether. I am not saying they have all their tokens backed by USD but they have huge Fiat reserve to backed up their claims. DAI have a good designed but will not scale to a Billion Dollar project IMO because of so many limitations
If i remember right there are rumors about manipulating USDT by bitfinex management who behind this stable coin idea. TrueUsd should have backup and it will be more safe to prefer TrueUsd than USDT.

But then USDT was retested, and it is now guaranteed to have that amount. However, now that many stablecoins exist, I think its position is shaken when there are many competitors and they prove that their currencies are much safer than USDT.

All stable cryptocurrencies appeared after the USDT and it says a lot. USDT is a pioneer, as in its time bitcoin. Therefore, it will forever remain the main stable cryptocurrency.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low market makes ICOs cheaper on: January 29, 2019, 09:59:16 AM
I see that many people complaint when the price of the coins drops, however that makes the ICOs cheaper and they are more likely to gain xMore than just hodling when the market recovers. What would you do to seize the opportunity?

In my opinion, many ICO just do not fuss, but wait for the market reversal. Moreover, many successful projects that have already held an ICO, do not even conduct a listing, but simply wait for better times.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No Regrets in cryptocurrency on: January 28, 2019, 05:19:20 PM
Read this thread and I find it funny. As if I was a priest listening to the confessions of the participants. It's very simple, if you are an illiterate trader, then just be a holder, even if you have to wait for profits for years.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are ICOs really dead? on: January 28, 2019, 05:14:41 PM
After participating in several ICO project, which turned out to be scam projects. My hard earned money disappeared in to thin air, with no way to trace or recover my money back. I had to act like it never happened to get it off my mind and move on.

Are ICOs really dead and do you still invest in ICO projects?

ICO is very much alive. Just choose your projects wisely.  For example, today Bittorrent easily raised $7 200 000 for 17 minutes.  And not everyone had time to buy tokens.
