1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5.00 CGPA or 5 BTC? on: February 21, 2024, 06:08:01 PM
This is really a food for thought. Having a full thought on this, I will say 5.00 CGPA why? Cause one can get to improve more on their skills and acquire more skill set. That is one can work in any industry and acquire more pay.
But with 5 BTC one will just have just a fixed number, what i mean is, any time btc goes up or down that's the whole amount you  have but with a 5.00 in a good field you can tend to grow what you earn.
However, I still think this is not something that is debate-able for those in my country, especially in this trying times where we are seeing a hike in inflation and economy crisis. I’m sure majority will go for the 5 btc without hesitation the economy has guard up our survival instincts to a whole different level. The system has made us to believe that you have to go through the educational process to get a good life and be responsible. Good thing we have a lot of prominent people who do not have a degree to determine their wealth, we now have a lot of young people who are ready to give  up going to university or college, if they have a paying idea or skill or what ever that makes them income.
Although, this does not dispute the fact that education is ìmportant, we should give credit to the smart and intelligent ones because, their time and effort of being the best should be rewarded accordingly. Well, which would you rather go for if you had the chance,  would you rather chase a degree, get good grades to work in an industry or quit school and accept 5 BCT, what's your opinion?

I am absolutely convinced that everything depends on the individual. For some, studying is simply necessary, because they will never be able to develop in their lives in any other way, other people succeed no matter what they do, and they are quite successful people who do not need studying. All people are different and an individual approach is needed here. There are many examples of successful people who have not graduated from any educational institution after school, but nevertheless they are professionals in their field of activity and earn a lot of money. Therefore, everyone should decide for himself what he should do, choose education or bitcoins.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The close range of Bitcoin skyrockets list 3 AltCoins to buy in the halving run on: February 21, 2024, 05:32:59 PM
Sounds good for investors who are hodling while investor who are yet to buy so still have convenient opportunities before the D'day.
Just recently, the Bitcoin halving season which has been trending excitedly since earlier this year has pinpointed the above 3 AltCoins which are SwissCheese (SWCH-USD) coin, Paal Ai (PAAL-USD) coin and Alephium (ALPH-USD) coin to be bought as a favourable investing advice before the skyrockets of its (Bitcoin) expecting bull run is fully come because the crypto markets volume would be surging on higher volumes and at then, the purchasing power would be scarily significant.
https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/bitcoin-halving-moves:-3-altcoins-to-buy-before-they-become-moonshots&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwiBtaeOw7yEAxVKV0EAHaBsBYEQFnoECAcQAg&usg=AOvVaw1RwODuEKzc_owc2p7RHp4j
It sounds great though for AltCoins would also gain the higher volume as once the Bitcoin moonshots bumps.

The article does not specify strong arguments and evidence why these 3 cryptocurrencies should bring tangible profits. In the bull season, all altcoins are growing. You can write such an article about many projects. Since November 2023, Alephium has grown from 0.19 cents to 3.23 dollars and it is too late to invest in it, in my opinion. Paal Ai has grown by 704899.5% since July 2023, too late to invest.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gate.io - blocked funds without explanation on: February 21, 2024, 05:06:40 PM
You haven't fully described the situation. Perhaps you just transferred your tokens to the wrong network or to the wrong address and the exchange does not see them? And the problem can only be solved with the help of exchange support, no one will help you here.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Owner of 8K bitcoin lost in landfill threatens to bankrupt local council on: February 20, 2024, 07:19:02 PM
I thought this guy had come to terms with this loss for a long time, but he got even more angry. Maybe the homeless have dug up this hard drive for a long time and the guy is suffering so much in vain.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we need to buy meme coin? on: February 20, 2024, 06:44:36 PM
Because
Sleep dreams that the tendency to suddenly become rich Cry

This is not really normal because meme coin is more dangerous in this crypto market. They always collect money from investors by showing amazing attractive offers. In reality their project does not last long in the market because most of the team members of meme coin are new generation and they have less experience. They are coming to the market only to grab the investor capital completely.

Exactly.  Most people actually realize it but because of theor greed they still end up buying coins of those rediculous projects.  Knowing is half the battle, acting upon that is another level.  Memes were a fad in 2020/21 I don't think they are gonna have another run like that.  There is too many coins out there to spread the money around.

Young people like meme coins and they invest in them because they see the hype and the way to earn money without delving into the essence of the project. This is how a young society works. If I had been told in 2017 that dogecoin would be in 11th place in the top, I would never have believed it, but now it's reality.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Hidden Alt Potential We Don't Talk About on: February 19, 2024, 06:10:58 PM
Thanks for the link to this blogger's YouTube. I watched a lot of his videos and they are very informative, he provides indisputable facts and evidence when parsing each coin. To be honest, I have not seen such a cool analysis of cryptocurrencies. Perhaps I will think about selling BNB, since the binance is no longer the same.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where did u put your Money ? on: February 19, 2024, 05:56:07 PM
I basically stick to idea buy low priced coins like 0.00001$ that have good potencial
so when coins get to 0.01$ its a very good profit of %

The idea is good, but how do you choose successful projects? If you invest even with a breakdown of capital, you will still receive a loss, since, for example, only a few out of 100 projects may be successful. And the rest will bring losses. Don't forget that hundreds of new coins appear every day.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Warning: Cryptocurrency Theft Involving Kaspersky Password Manager - My Story" on: February 19, 2024, 12:41:14 PM
Dear colleagues,

I want to share a story with all of you that happened to me and may be of interest to everyone who uses cryptocurrencies and security technologies. My name is Igor, I am a resident of the city of Slavgorod in the Altai Krai, Russia.

On July 12, 2023, I became a victim of cryptocurrency theft in the amount of 1.32605552 BTC. I had access to my wallet only on a paper medium, as well as through Kaspersky Password Manager, where 12 secret words were stored to access the wallet in the Trust Wallet application on my iPhone XS Max. Amazingly, my funds were transferred to another wallet, despite the fact that I did not receive any phishing or spam emails. Kaspersky suggested contacting the police to initiate an official investigation, which I did. A criminal case was opened, but, unfortunately, Kaspersky does not respond to police requests.

I am convinced that employees of Kaspersky are involved in this case, as I have a similar wallet on another iPhone with the same secret words in Trust Wallet, but without using Kaspersky Password Manager, and my funds remain intact on it.

It is very important to me that other users learn about this fraudulent scheme to avoid becoming its victims. The lost funds are of great value to me, so I appeal to you for support and advice. Perhaps someone among you has encountered a similar situation and can share their experience and advice.

Thank you for your attention and understanding.

Igor.

The police won't help you in Russia, you know that yourself. Now, if you lived in America, it would be another matter, since bitcoin is accepted by them. And in Russia, bitcoin is nothing, and therefore nothing has been stolen from you...
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto White Paper on: February 18, 2024, 04:36:41 PM
Do you think Bitcoin has gone against Satoshi Nakamoto’s original intentions and embarked on a non-decentralized path?

No matter what others say about it, we should be worried about it. Bitcoin hasn't changed, but we are using it in the wrong way. Bitcoin users are supposed to be anonymous so their money and the user can maintain their privacy. But, the centralized exchanges and other platforms changed everything. We are using centralized exchanges providing our identities.

It's been over a decade now and we are using it in a wrong way. We are binding our bank accounts with the exchanges. We were supposed to be free with our money but...... What is happening now? GazetaBitcoin has a thread about it. You can read if you want. 12 years later and people still don't know to use Bitcoin nor what it's good for

I read the post, there is information given why it is better not to use exchanges and banks, the topic of anonymity is not disclosed. Everyone knows that all transactions remain on the blockchain and all bitcoin movements can be tracked. Therefore, you cannot remain 100% anonymous. In any case, third parties may receive information about you or your bitcoin address, for example, from the person to whom you sold bitcoin or from whom you bought it, if he is not anonymous enough. And then further study your transactions and search for data about you. There are many examples where the police have found people who stole bitcoins if they did not use mixers or Monero.
Bitcoin is decentralized, but I think that it is not anonymous enough if you do not make additional efforts to anonymity

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the largest meme coin ever? on: February 18, 2024, 03:37:18 PM
I don't know which memcoin is the largest, but it's definitely worth paying attention to Coq Inu. I watched a blogger's video today and he believes that this coin has great prospects, as Avalanche may soon support it. Avalanche has created a special fund to support memcoins in its network, perhaps this coin will be the first.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto analysis: Polkadot (DOT) continuing downward trend raises concerns on: February 18, 2024, 03:12:23 PM
This is a normal trend. Today, a new project is at the top of the lists, and tomorrow it will be displaced by other projects with newer technologies and solutions to problems. Look at how the market has changed since 2017. At that time, there were a lot of successful blockchain projects with huge ratings, which no one remembers today. For example, Fantom, Zilliqa and many others. Therefore, investors go where there is more innovation and hype.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which project/token inflicted your biggest loss? on: February 18, 2024, 03:00:30 PM
I lost a lot of money by investing in Sparkster, listening to Ian Balina. It seems that they were obliged to pay investors the funds, but this has not happened yet. I also have a bunch of tokens from different projects, if I had sold them in 2017-2018, I would have made a lot of money, but I decided to play "holder". Alas, it did not lead to anything good.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Relationship not marriage, a need to be careful with the information we share. on: February 17, 2024, 05:25:09 PM
A man shared his story with me about how he was in a long relationship with a lady, it lasted for a very long time that he expected it to end in marriage, but it did not. What was his regret? his regret was that during the long time of being the relationship with this lady, he shared a lot of his personal information with her, and she even knew his bank passwords and pins and was able to send away all the money in his account just before she left him, leaving him broke. Could it have been his bitcoins? yes, but he is not an investor in bitcoins. How about you? are you being too open in the relationship you are keeping that is not yet marriage, you could be doing yourself some harm by exposing to the person who you are in a relationship with where you have invested which is in bitcoins, and even giving them too much information about how you have kept your seed phrase safe. The sweet relationship can go sour in a moment and that your lover can become your enemy. Unless you are married, do not share all information about you with the person you are in a relationship with.

If you are afraid that if something happens to you and no one else will be able to use the accumulated money, then it is better to provide passwords to close relatives, not your wife. Although close relatives do not guarantee your safety of funds, all people are different.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Making informed decisions is our responsibility on: February 17, 2024, 05:05:42 PM
One thign I am sure that we cannot neglect as crypto enthusiast is the our need to continually be informed and make good decisions, to be a part of a fast growing and information based space like ours(crypto space) does come with a responsibility that all of us must bear for ourselves and that is to seek knowledge.

As members of this community, relying on our past information would be very shortsighted of us especially when
Scammers are continually looking for new ways to compromise our security and get to us, sudden news can happen that can throw traders off balance or even make us holders to miss out on opportunities to buy cause we were ill informed. Just one wrong move, like clicking on a malicious link or ignoring critical news, can have very negative consequences. Also, the right information can lead to significant gains or safeguard your holdings.

It Is important and for our own good that we dopt a culture of continuous learning and upgrading our selves, by staying informed we would not only protect ourselves, but also increase our chances of success, there are countless reasons why making informed decision is good, but action on this solely is our responsibility and only we can make those decisions for ourselves, yes indeed the community is here to help you, but at times before you know it your already and victim. knowledge is power, and it's up to us to harness it for our benefit.

Forgive me, but sometimes I go into topics like this, it feels like I'm not on a forum about bitcoin, but on a forum of philosophers.  Grin Grin Grin

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Trajectory Of Crypto Based Payment Systems Thus Far. on: February 17, 2024, 04:48:32 PM
good news, it looks like mass adoption is starting to happen, but I doubt the main purpose of crypto as a means of everyday payment.
because this is more of an investment and people put their money there to make a profit.

I agree that people buy cryptocurrency for investment, but do not forget that many people buy and store savings in stablecoins instead of fiat currencies, so the opportunity to pay with stablecoins will be very useful.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Exchange Tokens Are You Watching in the 2024 Bull Run? on: February 17, 2024, 04:42:46 PM
I think that BNB is out of competition, even despite the many problems that have arisen recently. Look, there has been very good growth over the past 4 days, which indicates that Binance remains one of the most reliable companies.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USA stockbroker & financial commentator predict that BTC will hit $100k on: February 16, 2024, 05:03:18 PM
The growth of bitcoin is accompanied by an influx of new investors who previously did not believe in it and laughed at it, but now understand that it is a great tool for making money. The $100,000 mark will be reached easily, but how long will bitcoin last on it? After all, we have seen the rise and fall of the crypto market at least 2 times.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am seeking advice investement in new projects is legit or not ?? on: February 16, 2024, 04:55:15 PM
Considering the numerous scams associated with cryptocurrencies, I am hesitant to invest in new projects. However, I recently came across Tor Wallet, currently in its Presale on Pinksale at 13:15 UTC. It distinguishes itself by prioritizing privacy and distributing 50% of the Swap fee directly to users. Furthermore, it provides advantages such as a 0.15% earning on transfers within the Tor network for TOR token holders and a 0.1% bonus on cryptocurrency swaps. I am seeking advice on whether or not to invest in this particular project.

Website: https://torwallet.xyz/

It is not difficult to notice that advertisements for dubious projects are always promoted by newcomers to the forum, who after one post with a question about the project write nothing more, so personally I have no confidence in this project.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What causes altcoin season? on: February 16, 2024, 04:30:59 PM
Bitcoin usually grows first, and when its growth slows down, everyone starts investing in altcoins, that's when their growth begins. I've seen it 2 times, but to be honest, the market is behaving very differently today and it's not clear what to expect in the future. In any case, we are in another bull market today and we do not need to miss the chance. I wish you all great profits!!!
