Hello, I'm new to this bitcoin technology. And I have a question about double spending. Can you take a look at the following case and tell me what I am wrong
So let's say my wallet has 5 BTC. First I send a payment of 1 BTC to receiver A. It is verified by a full node and put into the mem pool. Immediately after that, I send all 5 BTC to B. It is then verified by a different full node and also put into the mem pool. Because I put more transaction fees on the second transaction, the second transaction will mostly likely picked up by a miner faster than the 1st transaction and get 1st confirmation. Thus I did my double spending.
Which part of my logic is wrong?
2nd transaction will be removed from mem pool. How can the mem pool determine which one to remove? Is there a timestamp? because the first one comes earlier or what reasons?

If anyone's wondering;
You can sell your BCC's on ViaBTC exchange but they'll freeze the BTC's you sent there till August 1. You will be able to withdraw the converted BTC's. For ex;
You got 10 btc. You sent them to viabtc. Viabtc will give you 10 frozen btc's and 2 bcc's. You'll be able to sell your bcc's for CNY and rebuy BTC's. You will be able to withdraw those BTC's but your 10 frozen bitcoins will stay frozen till Aug 1.
They don't let you trade without confirming your identity.
I don't trust them and I don't plan using their services but If anyone already has a confirmed account there, this information might come in handy.
why for 10 frozen btc's you only receive 2 bcc's? I made up the rates randomly from my mind. It was something like that on viabtc's website the last time I checked. (or not don't remember actually :p ) You can check it yourself: http://viabtc.com/edit: I missed something, When you give them 10 btc's, they'll give you 10 frozen btc's and 10bcc's. You'll be able to sell those bcc's for CNY and buy btc's. And with the ongoing rates now, you'll get 1.28btc's for 10bcc you sell. mostly likely your frozen 10 btc will drop to the price equal to 8.72 btc after Aug 1st. so 8.72+1.28=10. no more, no less.

here you mentioned that we can keep bitcoin wallets as long as we have the private keys. Your list includes blockchain.info. but it seems we don't have private keys when we keep bitcoin there. Can you confirm with this please?

We are already in July and August 1 is coming...the day when Segwit would start signalling for all and what will happen after this date is something many fear of. Will there be a split and what will happen on the split?
I have already read some assurance that at the current rate things are doing, the possibility for a split is getting remote. Maybe the overarching interest of all stakeholders has already dawned to many.
This is very simple thing , you should think that lot of amount of the Bitcoin are hold by the owner of the Bitcoin , so what will happ if the network of the blockchain will face problem , I mean we don't need to worry much about this , and instead of this some preacuation should be taken by us . 1) Before 1 August transfer your all Bitcoin at the blockchain wallet . 2) If you have Bitcoin then transfer only Bitcoin to your address of blockchain also . 3) don't make transaction like things from any of the Bitcoin wallet . 4) Make backup of your wallet of the blockchain before the 1 August . If you will do these things , then I don't think that you need to worry anything ways , because you are in official ways and platform and nothing is problem in the official wallets when you say blockchain wallet, do you mean the website blockchain.info ?
