Abandoned twitchcoin already? Before listing even?

Like people are saying, nethash is 130 kH/s. So need to be patient in solo mining. There are only 720 blocks generated each day (on average). This is a very low supply coin.

does anyone know if the standard cpuminer multi will mine this coin or is it a different algo than standard yescrypt.
It is not the standard yescrypt. So for now you must use minerd (I don't really know how that works, so I can't explain it). http://coinsmarkets.com/trade-BTC-YTN.htm I recommend no one really sell at 500 sats. Keep in mine the total supply right now is only about 66,000 YTN; there is no premine. A no-premine new-algo project is worth at least $50k USD in my opinion. This is not me trying to overstate by any means - SIGT hit $1 million + market cap in its early days. So I think $50k is probably a super-low-end estimate. If you spread $50k over 100,000 YTN (accounts for supply growth from 66,000), then divide by $6000 price of BTC, you get about a 8000 sats price. So the sell orders are roughly right, but the buy orders need to come up to match it. If this project ends up growing in the next 3-4 weeks because of the algo, it could go 2x-10x, but that is obviously a big risk that needs to be priced in.

Not until there's a stratum pool where I can test. It looks like the same hash function with different parameters. Is http://www.ypool.co a stratum pool? Could you use that? The pool operator apparently thought it was regular yescrypt so he set it up that way, but he's obviously not finding any blocks because no one is actually sending him yescryptR16 solutions. Can you use his mistake to test, or does it not work that way? BTW I don't mean to be pushy, if you can't be bothered (edit: or if it won't work) it's fine, I just thought I'd let you know in case you wanted to.

Even if it's a small modification to yescrypt, it's pretty cool having another cpu-only coin. But I do think the dev needs to present it a little more professionally. If he does that, I'd be thrilled to be an early adopter in the first few weeks.
|
|
|
Guys I think the pool has no blocks because he's using yescrypt for the pool, not the right algo for coin (which dev calls yescryptR16).
This may actually be a new algo, which would be pretty cool. But we need to wait to learn more, I'm not sure of this.

another junk shit coin..
Please elaborate, because this looks like a pretty nice coin. New algo, no premine, CPU Only. The purpose of the coin is not clear. How is the coin good? P.S. extracted the second block The devs want Japan to adopt the Yenten alongside the Yen as an official currency. Pretty cool purpose eh Edit: also this: "Yenten is made for reducing MEGA WASTE of electricity by ASIC on the earth. When this cryptocurrency spreads, reduction of CO2 emission would be realize by Yenten." So it's just regular yescrypt? Need to see if you can actually get a confirmed block I think.
I guess we need to wait to find out. If blocks are found then it's a normal yescrypt and the other letters in the op was a typo I doubt it but here's hoping it somehow works We need a pool If not then the algorithm hash has to be published somewhere in order to be implemented. I think he has source code available for download, won't it be in there?

Roadmap 2017: CPU mining, exchange, etc... 2018: CPU mining, exchange, etc... 2019: CPU mining, exchange, etc... 20XX: 1Yen < 1Yenten.
Wow what an amazing roadmap Your long goal is to be more than 1 yen Do you realize how much a yen is ? I don't see the issue? He said > 1 Yen. Greater than 1 yen. That could mean 2 Yen. That could mean 50 Yen. Your comparison makes no sense. Also: There are 2 mins/ block, means 720 blocks/day. Means 720 * 365 = 262800 blocks per year. 50 YTN per block means 262800 * 50 = 13,140,000 YTN/year. Even at 5-10 Japanese Yen per YTN, that's a really good project. Not everyone is trying to become an overnight millionaire, some of us like good asic-resistant algorithms.

I set it as tcp/udp and put all the right info in.. What am i doing wrong?
Appreciate any help, thanks!
Hello everybody! Can you help me with MN? Configured by instruction, but in the end the message: "Not capable masternode: Masternode not in masternode list" What can be wrong? Screenshot Are you guys forwarding port 9919 to the right device? If you have multiple devices on your home WiFi or whatever, you need to make sue port 9919 is pointing to the computer with the MN on it.

I think the price is pretty good considering how much early dumping we survived. Switching to LTC market was smart, allows for finer values than jumping one BTCsatoshi at a time.
Patience will be rewarded I think, so I'm holding, but to each his own.

The problem is that BTG set a bad precedent by getting away with a massive pre-mine. Now everyone is going to try forking Bitcoin with pre-mine, knowing they will make easy money.

Honestly I think it's great that you're not rushing to an exchange. There's always a sweet spot:
Too soon to exchange, people dump because there is no development or reason to hold. Too late to exchange, miners are overburdened with coins and dump
But it's a large window in between, so you should take your time for now.
If it's a large window, when does it start.. Because I think now would be a good time. Probably more miners will join in once they see a definitive value set on this coin. I don't think there are hard and fast rules here. Your opinion is as valid as mine, so I can't tell you for sure that it's too early. I can only tell you that I personally think it's too early because there is literally no value add right now over the other cryptonotes, and so investors have nothing to be interested in. An untested WordPress plugin won't cut it. But again, this is just my opinion. I would be happy to be proven wrong and see an influx of buying on an exchange as soon as possible.

If he's not lying about no pre-mine, that's nice, but this is still a clear carbon copy of Sikka. He also made the rewards too big, which means even if by some miracle it hits an exchange, no one will want to buy it at 1 sat even.
Dev, I'm not trying to discourage you if you have a genuine desire to run a good currency: take some more time to actually think about what makes a good currency, have a plan and vision, and learn the code. Don't just fork Sikka, 100x the block size, launch it, and hope for the best. The economics won't work, no one will value a single block at 380,000 sats, and unless you can sell for smaller than a sat, no one will buy this (no one uses LTC or DOGE markets).
Also, you're going to be wasting your own time because any exchanges that try to list your coin will ask you a ton of questions, and you won't have any answers unless you actually developed the code. I hope you're enjoying this, but I think you will have a better time with a long-term strategy that isn't ripping off someone else's coin.
