201  Other / Meta / Re: How trust system works ? on: October 07, 2014, 02:57:26 PM
Just noticed that some retard left me a negative feedback because i posted the publicly available information about a registered domain's owner.

How the hell some random can leave me such feedback over a post, not even a trade....

someone left me a negative feedback for requesting a positive trust in a trade. people on here are unreal.

203  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] $5 btc with paypal. i send first, we exchange feedback on: October 07, 2014, 02:49:37 PM
Hero member or other reputable member only. must have positive trust. After the chargeback window is closed on paypal, or whenever you are ready, you are to send me the btc. I am accepting the risk that you will not send the btc as recorded in your agreement. if you break the agreement or if i break the agreement, negative trust will be left for the breaker of the agreement. after transaction is complete and both users are sure that the deal was successful, positive feedback is to be exchanged with this thread as reference.

I was thinking of finding reputable hero members and asking them to do trades with me. i would send first, proving i am trustworthy. Really i just want it for bragging rights. My friends at work will be jealous of my green trust rating

Attempting to buy Trust won't get you much of anywhere and it may even cause your Trust to go the other way.
Bragging rights, really?

would you give me a chance instead of assuming the worst? ive been a member here for over a year.

And this means what exactly?

i would have alot to lose by scamming
204  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] $5 btc with paypal. i send first, we exchange feedback on: October 07, 2014, 02:03:00 PM
sorry, rules specifically state only hero or reputable members. no newbie accounts.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Is cryptsy the only legitimate altcoin exchange? on: October 07, 2014, 01:22:37 PM

Apparently when you register there you also confirm that your personal information will be shared with few people for their personal use.

Apparently that's true.

You know, Cryptsy is probably the type of people who would come after you for spreading libel and fud about their business. there is no evidence that they have shared your identity or personal information with anyone.

I like beer, but not in excess

I still enjoy a cold beer every now and then myself. all good things, in moderation of course.

i just want a positive feedback on my profile. i have no intentions to scam, but think what you want.
210  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] $5 btc with paypal. i send first, we exchange feedback on: October 07, 2014, 12:59:30 PM
You are aware that the chargeback window could be months, right?

Yes, so i am willing to wait several months for the bitcoin to be paid. only to a reputable member with positive trust.

How about working to improve your rating instead of trying to take a short cut and purchase Trust?
Instead of green you may end up with red.

So how do you improve your trust if you don't take a risk?
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SSD] Sonic - 1st TOR with functional anon send - Steganography based Anon App on: October 07, 2014, 12:44:32 PM
This coin was made from scratch. This coin is not a joke!

Because of the person who released it, i had serious doubts about it, but after investigating the source code it does appear to be a legitimately innovative alt.
213  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bi-directional micro payment channels with single party bitcoin locking? on: October 07, 2014, 12:43:19 PM
Mike Hearn's initial wiki article for Micropayment channels is unidirectional, i.e. the payment can flow only from one party to another and not in the reverse direction.

Example 7, https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Contracts

Is there a protocol that allows micropayments to flow in both directions? The solution of creating 2 channels with Bitcoins locked up by both parties is obviously valid, and I am looking for something different.

Is there a way by which, only one party locks up bitcoins, opens up a channel with another party, and the micropayments can flow in both directions?

Well, something like the websocket protocol could be used. It's a bidirectional communication protocol on top of tcp/ip.

Original Post so the forums paranoid vocal minority can't claim i tried to cover this up

This has been updated because according to some people with some pull on this forum feels like this constitutes untrustworthy behavior. I don't feel like this is particularly true, but i do see their side of the argument, since it has been a proven sign of scammers to seek a positive trust, albeit they do it more covertly for the most part.

i do still want to buy into bitcoin using paypal if anyone is interested. I will buy $10 USD worth of bitcoin instead of my original offer of $5.

I still only want to do it with trusted members or atleast someone who is well known and has positive feedback for similar trades, but i am nixing the requirement to exchange trust. I will probably leave you a feedback. you can if you want, it doesn't matter. please do not pm me directly. that is an automatic red flag to me. please post in this thread only.

Ya did that, its fixed now.

Still ugly that anyone can leave you neg feedback for nothing.

LOL.  Take a look at my untrusted feedback.    Tongue

I find it alarming how many times you have been accused of pedophilia. what's the story there? are they attempting to blackmail you to remove negative trust?
217  Other / Off-topic / Re: Don't you wish you never had any alcohol? on: October 07, 2014, 12:13:44 PM
Alcohol and drugs are bad for your period. I'm sorry that my life has taken the path it is, to bring me to where i'm at, but i feel like God, or maybe even the "cosmic forces of the universe" set me on this road less traveled for a reason, and i turned to be ok afterall, happily drug free for 2 years!

Edit:The negative trust is not there because i scammed someone. please read them carefully. A couple of overzealous forum security guards are blackballing me. why i'm not sure, but i really don't care. i certainly haven't done anything wrong at all. They are just queers.

I'm pretty sure satoshi is someone within MTGOX.

What is it that makes you so sure? Satoshi is surely smarter than that

Surprised no one has mentioned Zap Chain yet http://www.zapchain.com/home/

You have strong competition there, and they have a clear reason why to use them over these forums

Good lord, that websites just as pathetic, if not more so.
