DNS problem? Upon starting cgminer, it shows "switching to stratum," so it's at least seeing the server, I think. Several of the machines have both addresses configured - could that be causing an issue?
Can you see the website? Does the getwork interface work? PM me your username and I'll see if you're blocked. I blocked a few people who were constantly mining using 'scrypt'.

It's not a bitparking block. We must have shown as the first node to broadcast it that blockchain noticed. You'll notice that most bitparking blocks don't actually appear as bitparking on blockchain.info. The site is pretty inaccurate due to the approach they use. blockorigin is more accurate but it's showing 'unknown' at the moment. It may show who produced it later if it's from a pool that delays stats.

might be a question with an obvious answer, but when does a balance show on stats page? Been mining for about 4 rounds (24hrs+/-) and see credited shares but no balance. is this normal? Thanks! If this is question with obvious answer, please let me know as I have searched to no avail. You should be seeing the alt coin balances increasing immediately as you submit shares. Bitcoin balance should increase when we find blocks. What's your username (best to PM it)? Are you sure you've spelt it correctly in your miner?

We relay need some code for luck. Since I joined I should get 1,32BTC and I only got 0,89 That is only 67% luck for last 13 days... No I didn't forget about to remove the coins that I lost this weekend because of a crash of one of my miners... Yeah it's a tough time. Over the last 25 blocks we've averaged luck of 0.83. But mostly due to the last 4 long blocks. Before those we averaged 1.02 meaning we were ahead.

we have extremely bad luck this round, I mining here 2 week and only 1 day have excepted reward so I thinking on back to pps
We've solved more than one block in two weeks - you should have received more than one reward. This round was a long one but we've had short ones too.

So the worst case scenario is ending up with smaller coins for the same value in my wallet. But I thought it would be wise to report it here anyway.
Thanks, possibly the page was hit by a web spider. Some point soon I plan to move to automatic payouts over a certain threshold so the pool doesn't hold too many coins.

Thank you, I've mistaken my username when I registered, it means I've been using a non-registered account to mine I'll sort something out to reimburse you but it'll take me a couple of days.

There will be 5 minutes more of downtime sometime in the next hour as I apply some fixes for the pool crashes that happened earlier today.
|
|
|
Agree! He is probably investigating and fixing pool crash.
Things should be working now. There was some downtime about 3 hours ago, and 6 hours ago, when the bitcoin daemon crashed. I'll investigate the crashes later today. It seems odd for it to be stable right up until now, the switchover day for the block fork code, so I'll be looking in that area. Edit: Belay that, we're going down for 5 minutes.

Pool crashed. I'm investigating why but it's back up now.

Hi! Do you think it could be possible to merge mine NVC, PPC, TRC and other sha256d coins?
The only other coins the pool could merge mine are coiledcoin, groupcoin and some other whose name I forget (by the same creator as groupcoin). These aren't really actively traded though, except on an OpenTransactions server which I don't know much about.

Does anyone see this coin possibly making a comeback>?
If an exchange took it, possibly, If not, probably not.

|
|
Pool had a 5 minute restart today to install some updates.
|
|
|
Didn't know that. I was sure it reports the finder since this is the first time I saw this from the pool I was on. You live and you learn...
You can tell it's from Bitparking anyway since I have "Bitparking" in the coinbase.

Pool user br*********at ('*' replaces name characters to avoid revealing your user id), you are mining on stratum using an scrypt miner and all your shares are rejecting. You might want to check.

Unless 24.6.229.60 is Bitparking we will probably have orphan block... It looks like pool is not weary well connected because it took about 2 minutes for 50BTC to show up after we fond a block and I still don't see Bitparking on Blokchain.info
EDIT: It looks like this time we had IP not name for some reason... Addresses for new coins look like Bitparking...
Bitparking pushes the new block out to multiple bitcoin nodes. Depending on which of those broadcasts the block first it gets a different IP address and blockchain.info won't show it as coming from 'Bitparking'.

PPLNS doesn't punish miners for disconnects/non-continuous mining, while still being hop proof.
Nor does DGM. The Slush scoring method has got people thinking that "hop proof" means "must mine continuously".

Since it's waiting until confirmation of block generation and paying based on the last 5 rounds these losses will be obfuscated because they happen proportionally over the next 5 rounds. As I miner all you'll be able to notice is that your earnings seem to have decreased.
What is this 5 round thing you are writing about? Where in DGM do they mention 5 rounds? Note this point in the DGM article: the expected payout per share is always the same no matter when it was submitted.

Why is the ppcoind not connecting?
Their seed nodes are down. You need to find and connect to an existing node. If you can fire up your old node and connect to that to get the blockchain and node addresses to bootstrap.
