201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Three phases bounty distribution on: July 16, 2020, 09:27:32 PM
It's a good thing that few bounty managers are now limiting participants for bounties but another problem I'm bounty projects are dumps, one way that bounty managers can help to avoid dump is three phase distribution, many would probably hate this but c'mon we all want good $$$ from projects we promoted right? Controlling dump this way works, what do you think? I've seen bubbalex doing this and even COVIR that plan to use bitforex to raise funds plan to distribute tokens in three phases
I think that will be unfair to people who worked for months to promote a project, the reward should be released in full as soon as possible for the satisfaction of the bounty hunter but team can use other tactics to control price for example provide liquidity so that price does not go down below from a certain limit or range. Secondly if necessary reward tokens can be locked till a later date but should be unlocked in max 3 to 6 months.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Speculating On $BAT on: July 16, 2020, 08:06:54 PM
Nice setup but assuming the btc bulls that are highly expected i will think of a much longer downtrend in bat/btc pair and we may see 1500 1600 satoshi bat again if not lower but the good thing is that the usd value will grow so its better to trade bat/usdt pair in my opinion because you are sure of longterm direction.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi and CeFi ratings on: July 15, 2020, 05:44:20 PM
As far as i know most of these projects recently are more due to their tokens doing really well. Their performance and bullish move has outperformed the whole crypto market, i guess. Nexo, Cel, Cro all of them are bullish and making new highs. Secondly synthetic network with snx token has also reached new highs in last few weeks other peojects are also good and i think those projects in this category who have not moved much are probably going to move next so maybe a good chance to fill bags with them.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [UPDATED] Google banned Metamask from Play Store 1 week ago on: July 15, 2020, 03:17:04 PM
Soon after Google-owned Youtube has swung the strikes hammer against video content creators that talked about cryptocurrency-related topics, another arm of the search monopoly has taken down a popular ethereum dapps client.

Google Play, the official app store for the Android operating system which is used by billions of mobile devices around the world and operated by Google, has banned the crypto app Metamask. The company pointed its restricted content policy on apps that expose users to deceptive or harmful financial products and services as a reason for the ban. The policy details that “we don’t allow apps that mine cryptocurrency on devices,” despite the fact that mining is something Metamask is not designed to do.

For those who don't know it's wise to say that MetaMask allows you to run Ethereum dApps right in your browser without running a full Ethereum node.

Project's page: https://metamask.io/

You can install MetaMask add-on in Chrome, Firefox, Opera but not for Android anymore which is very sad =/

Were you using it for your Android? Had it affect for you and have you found any alternatives?

Looks like Google and Youtube are looking more into such apps
To be honest i was not using metamask from my smartphone which is android based and it was just that i was not confident about using it from phone somehow. So i just kept it in my laptop with proper browser and full view so that chance of any mistake is less. I try to be as careful as possible because small mistake can cost you a lot especially in crypto world where you cannot cancel or reverse transactions and also cannot change your passwords or private keys.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoins out of top 50 will reach ATH again with next bull run??? on: July 15, 2020, 11:06:51 AM
Guys, do you think  top 50 coins will reach there ATH again with next bull run??? Also share your views about any coins out of top 100 which can grow 50x in next bull run Grin Grin
Yes, in my opinion all good coins will hit all time highs again and perhaps break it to create new highs, I have been following swissborg for quite a while now and i think it has hige potential for growth being a fully functional product with quality platform. Other good potential project is utrust which seems to get attention already. Other than that all top coins will yield good returns after massive downtrend so keeping a bag full of eth, ada, icx, xlm, neo, link etc is a wise thing to do.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum reach the 1400$ mark this year? on: July 14, 2020, 10:26:17 PM

I believe, like many, that this year will be very good for the crypto world. Assuming that the adoption of cryptocurrencies increases considerably this year, is it possible to see Ethereum surpass the $1400 mark?
All longterm and hardcore supporters and hodlers of ethereum want it to break previous all time high of 1400 by the end of this year so that next year it can easily gear up for massive new highs but even if it underperforms this year due to pandemic or bad economy i still hope that we will atleast see it crossing 1k range.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Aave( Lend) prediction on: July 14, 2020, 08:53:09 PM
what do you guys think of where Aave( LEND) price will be in next few months?
Aave (lend) has already made like around 100x from last 10 to 12 months and perhaps this is the biggest gain in recent times and i do not know of anyother coin or token with such huge gains so its better if lend tokens consolidate here first for a while for more moves above otherwise the bulls can prove to reverse anytime.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Regular Speculation...... [Title Edited] on: July 10, 2020, 09:39:58 PM
If we talk about eth/btc pair then i think the next possible resistance areas are 0.03, 0.04, 0.06. So if eth is able to break 0.06 i think it will easily head towards 0.1 price and considering what kind of momentum and volume it will have around those levels we may see a new all time high this time around for eth/btc where eth will gain value.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A Look At the Performance of the Top Cryptocurrencies In the First-Half of 2020 on: July 10, 2020, 09:04:44 PM
For some people it is already bull market especially those who got the chance to enter btc around 3k mark and ethereum under 100 those are the people that have already made 2 to 3x in a matter of months but longterm holders or the large number of investors that entered around last time peak are still waiting for prices to really surge and break previous highs so that they can take some profit. I think market will take some time but eventually big bull cycle will be here so the patience will really pay off.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 5 cryptocurrency exchanges where you can stake cryptos & earn rewards on: July 10, 2020, 11:42:47 AM
Good article no doubt about it but the question is why do you want investors to use crypto exchanges for staking purposes. Whereas we have been told numerous times in this forum that keeping a good balance on crypto exchanges can be very risky unless you are planning to do a trade.

Why not use your personal wallet to stake cryptocurrencies. I am aware of three and I have listed them below.
  • Atomic Wallet
  • Exodus Wallet
  • Guarda Wallet

All the above-listed wallets are non-custodial wallets and are available on both desktop and mobile devices. Exchanges are not at all secure. This biggest example on your list of unsecured exchange is Binance. It got hacked last year.
That is exactly what i was thinking about personal wallets with private key in our control is in our control atleast and we can access it from any other service as well if the original wallet provider is down or not available but yes  some people do look for 2-3 years of succesful business and credibility from these wallets and platforms before using them.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DeFi Craze: Could ETH be seen positive reaction in coming days? on: July 08, 2020, 08:03:20 PM
We always heard about this Defi thing, and many believed the market has been overly hype, while some believed that it really did worked. To proved that DeFi right now is trending, take a simple search and type #DeFi.

Moreover, ethereum coin is considered to be the main coin in which you could join this defi craze. Cause they are ERC-20 based coins.

This thing will give us the idea that with this DeFi dominance, ETH should be seen quite significant price increased. However, as of this time of writing, it only resembles the price of BTC as per price action (correlated price to BTC). I was thinking that with this increased of DeFi trend, Eth will react in behalf.

Well, what do you think, fellow traders?

I think it will be a mix of defi, dapp and smart contract culture that will be the obvious reason for next eth parabolic run because everyday more and more money is flowing into this sector and most part of that money is in the form of eth and luckily pandemic and global economic situation has accelerated the trend of defi because people are looking for better alternatives to traditional finance now and they seem to have found it in the form of DeFi projects, now it seems like we can enter into new bull phase of eth anytime from here on.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Both PoW and PoS algos are scams. Here's why. on: July 08, 2020, 07:46:57 PM
The Proof-of-Work algorithm and the Proof-of-Stake algorithms are scams. Proof-of-Work algorithm actually costs more than it makes. This is why every single Proof-of-Work algorithm crypto has to be supported with FIAT money, which honestly speaking makes them all hybrid PoW/PoS. Proof-of-Stake is a scam because it's just money backed with money.
You seem to lack the technical knowledge and how these algorithms work and what purposes they serve, it easily indicates that your knowledge about these is superfacial and you have just built your opinion without digging up the topic in detail, I will suggest to read the technical papers of how pow and pos work and what purpose they serve then you will realize that you knew nothing while posting this.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: NEW STYLE OF CAMPAIGN on: July 08, 2020, 06:06:12 PM
I was going through the bounty session and saw this campaign https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5254541, on the signature campaign, it says you should give 4hrs gap between post, I feel this is not too good for signture campaigners who have always been use to freedom to posting and spreading across 3-5 days. However, with the WhaleHavens rule of 4hrs gap to post, one can still make 6 post per day. Reducing it to 3 post per day spread over 12hrs is still very possible and viable but limits one freedom to make meaningful contribution on the forum. I feel the clause of only 4hrs post gap will be eligible for stakes count should have been specified. A look at the signature spreadsheet shows that about 90 percent of applicants were rejected.

What do you think of the rules of the BM? I understand he is trying to curtain burst posting and spam.

I do not think that this and similar rules like you can check in the social media campaigns of same campaign are ethical because i mean how can one spare all his day, remember each and every minute and hour of his last post and then comeback and post again after the suggested gap, i think this is unethical requirement, these people who promote a project are not hired and are not slaves to follow such brutal rules in the end to earn few bucks.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The next monster on: July 08, 2020, 03:04:40 PM
I've been reading the archives of this forum over the past few days for the first posts about Ethereum, Binance, XRP etc.

Many posters calling them scams and shitcoins initially and a number of posters praying for Ethereum to get to $10 so they would become millionaires. I want people to look back at this thread in years to come and highlight the posters that predicted the next huge altcoins and it would also be good to see what people are investing in outside the top 100.

I'll start - NULS.

Maybe the best tech I have come across with an extremely dedicated team and great community. With it's easy to use staking platform, chain factory and Nerve - the decentralised digital asset service network I think this coin will start making moves into the top 20 over the next year. Constantly ranked in the top 10 projects on CCID (China based crypto ranking) it's only a matter of time before this project explodes.

Let me know your dark horses for the next big altcoin..
After your post i can easily say that uptill now cardano (ada) seems to be the next big altcoin and all year is full of ada events and news so i am really bullish about it and i am positive that it will break its previous all time high price by december this year and next year it will be on its way to new highs. There are other good alts as well eth and trx are also nicely positioned but for now ada is my highest potential alt.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: KIN | Top Secret - Do not open! on: July 07, 2020, 10:39:21 PM
KIN has been a story full of struggle and ups and down there fight with regulators seem never ending but i am happy to see that they are still here still developing and still growing unlike telegram who gave up their blockchain project ton due to regulator interference they should also have fought and continue the project as far as i know that was also one of the most advanced blockchain network that they were developing so never give up.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celsius Network - what's your view on it? on: July 07, 2020, 10:13:33 PM
I'm sure Celsius network is not a little known name in crypto community. I have seen people are actively promoting it through social media, telegram channels, Twitter etc. Their main business is lending money to the people with minimum/no paperwork at low interest rate. People can also keep their money into CEL wallet to earn interest against it which eventually goes up to 10% annually.

While it's providing a good earning opportunity but I am still suspicious about using it because we have recently seen Plus token scam which operated in a somewhat similar model (if not entirely)! So I am looking forward for the community to provide their valuable feedback on Celsius Network.

Thanks in advance!

They seem to have came out of nowhere but they are already dominating i mean just checkout the growth in price of their tokens that is really impressive. I would have more confident if they had proper banking license or full regulatory compliance which they seem to lack also their service is not available globally as they have restrictions for some countries. I hope they will work on these to become real house hold name in future.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are ignoring that Proof-of-Bandwidth is an actual thing on: July 07, 2020, 08:02:19 PM
Bandwidth is in constant high and growing demand. Everyone want fast and high quality video streaming and there seems to never be enough bandwidth for everyone, no matter how fast connection you have. This is because your bandwidth is prioritized to government and corporations. You get the leftover bandwidth. One way to have a smooth running fast internet with best bandwidth is using a mesh network. In a mesh network nodes relay bandwidth to each other. For tokenizing a mesh network and measuring and validating the bandwidth to value, you need to adopt the Proof-of--Bandwidth algorithm. I predict this could be like the next Bitcoin.
Sounds good and if this tech can solve the internet speed issues around the world then obviously community will definitely support it, the market already needs such practical solutions and community is also fed up of bogus projects that can be confirmed from low ico investments currently. I am sure with quality solutions and projects the investor will be back in the market.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain is very faithful on: July 05, 2020, 07:18:20 PM
Well, i don't know what we would feel but i think the blockchain space is a faithful one, especially when it comes to bounty hunting. There are jubilant scenes in mtcn group regarding the recent upturn in price of token; with hunters getting reward for a work done since 2018. For some who believed in the project, it was a huge cashout.

It seems despite the gloom and appearance of scam projects, Bounty can be worth it if we join the right project
Yeah some projects from 2018 that have successfully launched their products and services are now enjoying the bulls for example, swissborg and synthetix network are doing really well since their platform release i hope people holding from ico will be happy now that is why selecting good project is of vital importance.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any successful precious metal crypto? on: July 05, 2020, 03:08:17 PM
Since the beginning of cryptocurrency we have  seen many precious metal crypto project. With my little knowledge i don't know any successful one. All precious metal crypto projects disappeared after funding phase. Is there any successful precious metal crypto and traded?
I think there is no real or proven precious metal backed project available till now, even we get to see so many projects that claim to be backed by gold, platinum, diamond or silver no one has got the attention and no one has proven the backing assets that is why market has not taken them seriously. Among new projects also i would stay away untill a platform is proven and anyone can check their holdings maybe through a blockchain based link or direct contact at storage facility or a govt regulator. Let these projects prove them first in the market before investing or using them.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Always look at the coins MAX supply on: July 05, 2020, 01:21:07 PM
So there's 6000+ coins out there. Look at the max supply. A coin with a large max supply and rapid emission of new coins will most likely never surge in value. This is because the worlds total capital is divided with so many optional coins. The larger the supply, the more capital it needs to spike in value. Even Bitcoin with a max supply of only 21 million needed massive amount of capital to get where it is now. So any coin with double that, will need the double amount of capital to get to the same place. So with so many options out there if you want good value pump. Look at something with max supply of only like 1 million.
I agree with your basic point but i think you have too ambitious target of max supply as i have never seen any serious project with a supply of only 1 million coins, i think coins with billions in supply should be discouraged and there should be some limit when it comes to max supply like 100 million or 200 million. I have seen almost all new coins dumping hard that have supply in billions.
