201  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-18] 'Bitcoin cash' surges 40% in single day as investors bet on... on: August 19, 2017, 04:39:27 PM
If anyone thinks that this is a "organic" rally, you should have your head examined.

The lower notional value per unit and the professed intent by Roger Ver to prop up his latest assault on the Bitcoin ecosystem is more likely.

But sure, keep thinking that this rise is a bunch of people thinking suddenly that BCrash should be worth 2x more in a few hours span.

202  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-11] The Bitcoin Cash Hard Fork Will Show Us Which Coin Is Best on: August 13, 2017, 02:48:51 PM
BCrash is trading at ~7% of BTC's market price.

Their alt-coin is also 1,183 blocks behind BTC's blockchain.

I'd say the market has already shown us which one is "best".

But of course, this won't stop Roger "Deluded Judas" Ver from attempting another scheme to enrich himself.
203  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-12] Bitfinex Drops US Customers on: August 12, 2017, 02:57:12 PM
Bitfinex is shaping up to be Mt. Gox 2.0 - Read this article, it spells it out rather succinctly:

https://hackernoon.com/the-curious-tale-of-tethers-6b0031eead87

They may have a bit more runway before they crash and burn, but its going to be rather historic when they do.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2017-08-11] Bitcoin Cash Gains More Support on: August 11, 2017, 03:07:12 PM
These idiots never stop, do they.

BCrash is trading at 328 and change, which is only ~9% of Bitcoin's worth.

Their alt-coin is also 1,048 blocks behind the main BTC chain.

This is non-trivial.

Ver, scam artist supreme, has been cashing out some of his BTC holdings to support BCH. We'll see how far this goes, because it won't be enough.

Trade it short term if you must, its longer term future is in doubt.
205  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-06] Blockchain Data Reveals Someone Is Trying to Slow Down Bitcoin Cash on: August 07, 2017, 03:42:36 PM
It would be hilarious to find out that BCrash has been mined mostly by someone who could care less about their alt-coin.

Zero sympathy for the team and participants behind that train wreck.
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lets give a round of applause to everyone who ran a UASF node! on: August 01, 2017, 02:08:11 PM
Lets give a bigger round of applause to those that post in the News Section with proper date formatting.

Thanks...
207  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-31] Will Bitcoin Cash Impact the Bitcoin Price? on: July 31, 2017, 02:14:01 PM
Bitmain Centralized Coin will have a negligible effect. Perhaps a net positive once some hardy souls cash out and buy more BTC with the proceeds.

Anyway, it really doesn't matter. Let the failed messiah and his chinese junk dealer have their ego-coin, good riddance.
208  Bitcoin / Press / Re: Fork Watch: Take Extra Precaution When Trying to Access Post Fork Tokens on: July 30, 2017, 02:31:59 PM
Needs proper date formatting to be in the News Section.

Thanks....
209  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-30] Roger Ver Claims SegWit Transactions are “Unfairly Cheap” due to... on: July 30, 2017, 02:31:03 PM
Who's this Roger Ver guy Roll Eyes

You know, the next high-profile scammer to rage-quit because he can't force everyone into his scam-coin. Smiley
210  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-26] SEC: Initial Coin Offerings Must Be Regulated on: July 26, 2017, 03:16:40 PM
I called it on this one.

I knew that the SEC would get involved eventually. The existential risk hanging over Ethereum's head is this enforcement order.

But lets get on with the ETH pumping, because that is all I see on these forums.

Wait until the fines start flying...
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rothschilds Bought Some Bitcoins Via GBTC Fund on: July 24, 2017, 01:05:27 PM
NEEDS PROPER DATE FORMATTING TO BE IN THE NEWS SECTION -- You know, like the hundreds of posts that came BEFORE YOU and managed to do so with ZERO problems.

212  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-15] An 80 Character Record in Blockchain (like Twitter) on: July 24, 2017, 01:03:59 PM
Hi Carlton, TraderTimm.... sorry anyone was pissed off... but here's more good news for you:

< Snipped humblebragging >

You'll be super HAPPY to know that I've made my concerns known, and your business model is set to be "expired" in short order.

Enjoy the last waning minutes of abuse...
213  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-23] Between a Rock and a Hard Fork: Jeff Garzik's Plan to Avoid a Split on: July 23, 2017, 01:58:25 PM
Another shit-post from BBC "reporter".

Dude, just give it up, no one really takes you seriously.
214  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-15] Bitcoin Millionaire Teen Not Convinced About Ethereum on: July 16, 2017, 02:03:22 PM
Smart kid.

ETH is honestly a "cult of personality" thanks to Vitalik.

The pump will ultimately end in a massive dump - and its ongoing. 130.26 reported as a low today on Coinbase.

No amount of China roadshows fluffing investors is going to bring that valuation back. Nor does it help that a "misconfigured" ICO can bring the ETH network to its knees.

215  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-14] TOP STRATEGIST: Bitcoin to over $20,000 by cannibalizing gold on: July 14, 2017, 01:15:00 PM
BBC "reporter" isn't the sharpest tool in the box.

I'm starting to wonder what the hell his problem is.
216  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-07-03] Bitmain CEO Jihan Wu: Bitcoin Needs Smart Contracts, ICOs, and More on: July 04, 2017, 11:40:33 AM
Jihan needs to shut the fuck up or we'll fork his miners into hot-air popcorn machines.

Mr. "Fuck your mother if you want fuck" needs to stay away from a microphone and stop being a complete douchebag in the mining ecosystem.

But naturally, there are supporters of this asshole because people are fucking stupid.
217  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-01] The Curious Dilemma of the Bitcoin ‘Community’ Going Separate Ways on: July 01, 2017, 04:20:46 PM
There is no "last chance" or time limit.

We'll either adopt some method of scaling - or not. So what.

Bitcoin wasn't made to be changed on a whim, but after careful consideration and discussion. I blame all the ADHD idiots out there that think progress means rapid-style changes. It doesn't.

I think that will become more clear if there is a fork and the majority just disregards what they consider to be a waste of time, or a centric-trend risk.

We'll survive, like we always have. Its very hard to kill something that has been under attack for nearly 9 years.
218  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-06-28] Russia’s Parliament is Discussing the Legalization of Bitcoin on: July 01, 2017, 04:17:49 PM
How about a double-whammy.

Russia legalizes, and then its partner China - does the same.

They already trade with each other with the explicit intent of bypassing the US Dollar. They settle energy trades in Roubles/Yuan. This would put a huge stake in the heart of USD being a global reserve currency.

I can hardly wait.
219  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-06-27]Bitcoin Exchange Operator Sentenced to Five-and-a-Half Years in Pris on: June 28, 2017, 04:18:33 PM
It means if you run an exchange without doing your due diligence and applying the proper regulatory procedures -- you get sent to jail.

Not really a huge revelation.

There are plenty of shoddy exchanges out there that don't operate above-board. This was one of them.
220  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-06-23] Coming Soon: The Great Bitcoin Crash? on: June 28, 2017, 04:15:36 PM
Someone just figure out that Bitcoin has declines after run-ups?

This isn't a new phenomenon. Bitcoin trading veterans have known this since its inception. But hey, clickbait needs sensationalist titles, doesn't it.
