201  Local / Альтернативные криптовалюты / Re: Курс криптовалюты падает, а количество ICO и Bo on: May 06, 2018, 02:26:45 PM

202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: May 06, 2018, 02:14:51 PM
are we listed in some decentralized exchanges? I think they are the future since exchange are too centralized
The only decentralised exchanges I know about are accepting ERC20 tokens only. I don't know whether COSS is decentralised or not, but there is practically no volume anyway.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think? on: May 06, 2018, 01:55:13 PM
Not that much of a decline, a usual correction as it always happens. The overall market cap went down only by $20 billion from this weeks ATH, people go into BTC from altcoins for smaller percentage losses.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How can I earn Bitcoins through smartphones? on: May 05, 2018, 04:32:42 PM
The only way to earn something significant enough to pay for the exchange and transfer fees is to retweet and share posts in Twitter through bounty programs, and sell all these the tokens for BTC. Forget about faucets and smartphone mining, it is not worth it for a long time now.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Under $1 on: May 05, 2018, 10:25:24 AM
Okay that depends first on marketcap rather than the value of every single token. Stop checking about the value of token please. If you want to earn some good money in short term then go for Ccore...
Yes, there are loads of people thinking that altcoins under $1 are "cheap". It does not make any sense, but now I'm thinking maybe it's actually more profitable to invest in sub-$1 tokens because that's where the dumb money usually goes to. Many think "if BTC is at $10k and my coin is at $0.01, then there's loads of room to grow".
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The entire market cap of cryptocurrencies is speculation isnt it? on: May 05, 2018, 09:26:51 AM
Practically all tokens have no real world usage but still some of them have skyrocketed in value, and I am not talking about Ethereum. They go up not because loads of people use them but only because loads of people speculate. The majority will never be used in real life, but people think they will get adopted. Even Ethereum is not needed for an average Joe. Everyone here is for the Dollar, just look at this speculation forum board.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] VICE - The Revolutionary Adult Cryptocurrency on: May 04, 2018, 10:10:08 AM
They have said they will launch main-net a long time ago, on the next day after the ICO. Main-net is what, a simple ERC20 token issuance? But now they are talking about July. Lack of dev communication here on Bitcointalk is a big problem too.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I need to say more? on: May 03, 2018, 12:34:19 PM
Comparing cryptocurrencies with Uber or mobile phones is like comparing oranges and tables. Forget about adoption right now, it is still very complicated to secure your funds, hacks happen every day. The majority still does not know how to get it, store and use it. Uber and phones ease your life, but cryptocurrencies in most cases do not.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Elixir value on: May 02, 2018, 09:23:46 AM
I did invest some in Elixir, but progress is to slow. They need to step it up, to get the price going
Price movement is slow but devs are delivering new updates each week. Loads of times I've been holding tokens with constant price while other tokens were moving up. Got greedy and sold to join a bandwagon, and I did regret doing that every time, could earn much more just by holding.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to gain income from crypto 1k$/month on: May 01, 2018, 02:24:20 PM
I set a goal to reach incom from crypto 1k$/month to live on this ernings and do things that i'm interested in. What would you advise, how could i reach my goal this year?

Practically impossible right now, you had to start a year or two back. Your forum level is low while there are much more people than earlier, this is why I doubt you will make such amounts on bounties. Trading is not suitable too because I doubt you have any knowledge and start up capital. Even if you have one, most probably you will lose.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN: ELIXIR (ELIX) Crowdfunding, Lending and Payments Platform on: May 01, 2018, 12:08:33 PM
dev, could you explain me
a lond time ago i received 1 EXOR during airdrop but today i see 0 EXOR balance on my parent address
what happens ?
When have you checked it last time and are there any Exor transactions from your address? Maybe you have cleared your browser history and you will have to add a custom token again. You won't see 1 Exor in your balance through etherscan if there were no generated batches, you should check with myetherwallet.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ACC] [PoS Token Standard] Accelerator on: April 29, 2018, 09:53:59 AM
ACC behaving like pump and dump, we need more volume so just few orders don't f*** up the price.

Hopefully, when 300% interest for first year finishes people will sell some  Roll Eyes
Looks like there is absolutely now way for any one to find out about ACC, I got into it only because they did have an airdrop here.
I am surprised that it did go down that much from the $15-$20 levels because I was thinking ACC is tied to Ethereum value. We are at minus x5 but ETH dropped only twofold.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This Why Altcoins will DIE on: April 29, 2018, 08:46:22 AM
Altcoin will not die. If you see ETH, NEO , ADA and many others, they have great potential and projects. Currently all the alts are down because Bitcoin itself is down and also Bitcoin Dominance is decreased to 36%.
The only thing we can do now is to buy them cheap and wait for things to be recovered.
What he is trying to say is that all the tokens without any use case will eventually die, sooner or later. You have listed 3, but there are thousands. Right now there are loads of useful and useless tokens, and still both of these types are speculative. People buy tokens without any use cases just to resell them at a higher price, it works now but it will end in the future. In 2014 there were various coins too, even though they were useless, they were traded at high volumes. Right now they cost zero, this is what to expect for the majority of the tokens you see on coinmarketcap now.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Elixir value on: April 29, 2018, 07:21:58 AM
But it will make strong resistance when price will grow. Many of long-term investors will fix profit and it will be not good. But if team will continue than project will be great
Well, the ones who did not mine their batches when the price was at $2.5 probably wont mine them when we reach the same price level too, so this might be not the case. Also I think many of non-mined addresses are lost, the mined % on their website is not changing much during the last 6 months. As of marketing, I did hear that they will pay to get listed on a major exchange as soon as they have a working product.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CENTRA CTR SCAM - Founders Arrested on: April 28, 2018, 05:57:31 PM
but I do not understand why it all happened. I participated in this project and I had to sell These coins for 80 cents. It was a very small price, but I had no way out. A few months later I saw a price of $ 4 per coin Centra. This coin was valuable, but why the project failed.
It did cost 4 dollars not because it was that valuable but because it simply got pumped and noobs joined the bandwagon. They did have a good marketing but they have shown absolutely zero product, no card, no marketplace. Also they have said that this is a credit card, later everyone finds out it is a simple debit one, and they have failed at delivering that too. All their Bitcointalk topics and Telegram's were closed a long time ago, it did raise additional suspicions.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PayPal CEO said bitcoin SCAM ! on: April 27, 2018, 03:48:11 PM
Whoever is saying the Bitcoin is a scam is a mad or nothing. But, is a better solution to PayPal. This is a fast transaction method worldwide. But, gradually it is synonym as a currency or the coin.
They can think of "scam" by looking its current value but not the technology. Even so, PayPal is even a bigger scam. Their buyer & seller protection has scammed much more people, plus their outrageous fees. Anyway they are not the ones who to listen to.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to 'lost' coins? on: April 26, 2018, 04:54:35 PM
Yes, they will be lost forever, everyone can see them but nobody can touch them. There are still loads of people who are not active on this forum for several years now, their airdropped NEM coins for example are worth $1 million now and they do not even know that. Also I doubt they have saved their private keys because loads of people did not take this seriously at that time. I know that I had some wallets back in 2014 but I do not remember both wallet addresses and private keys.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Exenium Exhange on: April 26, 2018, 11:59:29 AM
I would not touch anything crypto - orientated from Russia, had a lot of trouble with Russian ICO's and exchanges. There are hundreds of exchanges right now, and I doubt that most of these centralized ones will survive during the next couple of years.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Portfolio doubled in 3 weeks. on: April 24, 2018, 03:54:38 PM
When I was at the very bottom I have lost around 90% from the January ATH's, so basically I was holding during all the dumps. Everything starts to recover but for me there is a still long road to go. Next time I would prefer to transfer everything to BTC  as soon as the bear market arrives, will lose less this way.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Rumors: MEW DNS possible hijacked... stay away and safe on: April 24, 2018, 02:57:59 PM
Same here - they better not be hacked as this would create some more FUD again as a lot of people are using MEW.
MEW itself was not hacked, but DNS somehow was replaced. Anyway you could see a warning sign in the browser before opening your wallet, but some have thought that it is still okay. You can avoid loads of problems by using hardware wallets, just check the address on the device screen when you send the tokens.
