201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is greedy people getting out of Crypto or Bitcoin?? on: April 02, 2018, 11:22:55 AM
Based on some recent post i got some question to ask community
1) People were regret about not buying bitcoin while price was too low . Now price is low compare to last 4 months . I am asking question how many are investing now ( Or in your community).

People are regretting to not bitcoin when the price was below 1000$ and not when it hits 10k$ and above as you said last 4 months. 4 months price is different on last 4 years price. Those who buy in peak price is not a real investor but those poor people that just influence by there friend to buy bitcoin with a promise of having a guaranteed profit.
202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dropped by $2k on: April 02, 2018, 11:18:52 AM
I think not, it's the people who are selling the bitcoin that's why its value is dropping today. If they can't log-in like what you have stated it means it's on hold right? No access = no transaction.
The Bamboo Curtain State authorities will step up their efforts in restricting the virtual currency exchange platform, especially those involving parties outside of China.

Outside china really? Many Chinese are already closed and most top exchange in terms of volume is not from China anymore. This somehow irrelevant for this matter. This subject might result to another FUD so be careful on posting any opinions here so that we can help BTC to recover again.
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 40% of BTC daily Volume is Japanese on: April 02, 2018, 11:12:17 AM
If it is, this is quite scary because if anything goes PEAR SHAPED in JAPAN the market will go down even further and we do not want that to happen at all. I do think though that much of the JAPANESE volume is also created by many CHINESE who cannot do anything in CHINA because of all the bans there, so they have moved all their volume to JAPAN. This is just my theory and I do not have proof to back it, but this is just an assumption that comes from pure logic I guess. I do hope more countries get more active in the markets.

Yes, they are scary numbers. I just checked on the internet if it is true and it is true - OMG

This is not scary since Japanese government are supporting the used of cryptocurrency besides that, I will more trust on Japanese rather than Chinese whales since Chinese are dirty players in trading rather than Japan. They are trying to fully adopt bitcoin that's why they are holding that huge volume of BTC. We must thanks them because they are the one who saves bitcoin when Chinese investors flip their BTC.
204  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dubai Will Issue First Ever State Cryptocurrency on: April 02, 2018, 11:08:48 AM
The local government in Dubai has officially launched its own cryptocurrency called emCash, according to announcements by local news media outlets. The cryptocurrency would be used for payment of governmental and nongovernmental services.

According to Ali Ibrahim, Deputy Director General of Dubai Economy, the token will be considered legal tender “for various government and non-government services, from their daily coffee and children’s school fee to utility charges and money transfers.”

It is very exciting to see countries adopting the blockchain and trying to utilize the technology to improve further their economical well-being

Any legit source that support this claim, I want to see an official news from Dubai government that announcing of  releasing their own cryptocurrency just like what you have stated. Because if this is legit news then I sense some game changer in crypto market. Why is this topic is on beginners & help section?  Huh
205  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Selling Bitcoins on LocalBitcoins.com Legal? on: April 01, 2018, 03:11:23 PM
If someone were to sell bitcoins on localbitcoins.com in exchange for paypal my cash cards, which were then deposited into paypal. Is that legal as long as any taxable gains received in the transaction are paid? If the amount is under $500 per day and $4000 per month would there be any requirement to know the customer or comply with anti-money laundering laws?
There really arent any major laws related to it. All that matters is that you have to pay adequate taxes and thats it. There are no other such compliance laws. Moreover localbitcoins.com work because it is legal to sell btc. If it would have been illegal you wont have seen it operating on such a large scale. But yes I still prefer to use some different ways to sell your btc. This method is highly unsafe.
I believe that localbitcoins are charging some fee to the seller or buyer for every they made successfully. Besides that, Localbitcoins didn't holds any money and it acts only as medium for trading just like this forum so in my own perspective. Localbitcoins is legit AF.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can something free be a scam? on: March 27, 2018, 11:57:01 AM
I will reveal here some modus of scammers that using free airdrop method. First if all, the devs of a certain coin with free airdrops have all the supply of the tokens. Initially they will airdrop around 10% of it and hold the 90%. Most of free airdrop offers an ICO with very high bonus percentage but they will never sell more than 50% of the supply. So here how the scam work using free airdrop. First thing, since ERC20 are automatically listed on Decentralized Exchange like Etherdelta and IDEX, they will start to pump dump the coin using the coin they are holding and make a hype using the 10% token receive by airdrop hunter which the majority will be selling their token. This will attract attention of the whale traders since the trading history is very lively. Once many whales has involve and set big orders. The dev team will dump all their token and take away both the profit on selling their coin and the profit in token sale.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good or bad for bitcoin users ?? on: March 27, 2018, 11:48:13 AM
There is a bitcoin mixer that can be use so that your Bitcoin will not be tracked. That news is just a FUD. Tracking a fully anonymous coin will never be happened because bitcoin is design to be anonymous. It's up the user if he will reveal his identity or not.
208  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade right and right? on: March 27, 2018, 11:27:32 AM
how to trade the good and right so that we do not lose?
Can anyone advise to me on a trusted site?
For seniors please guidance ... Wink Wink Wink
No one is such an expert who never face loss in life but from every loss you gain experience and knowledge which further reduces your risk and you are able to gain profits learning from your past mistakes. The trusted platforms are Poloniex and Bittrex on which you can tarde but give some time to yourself to settle in this feild first.
Risk is always there and even expert face to lose money in trading, but if you have good experience in trading then you can at least minimize the risk of losing money. Experience can only be get through spending good time in trading. Therefore in very beginning we need to do small investment and when get some experience then we should increase our investment.
Having knowledge will really help us to do well in trading, but even how good we are, there were really times that we cant control to fail in trading especially if we cant watch it every now and then, we will know soon by experience that its not that important to read a lot since when we do it already, we will still stumble into knowing what coin is it and why it deserves to be traded.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SiaCoin on: March 27, 2018, 11:21:22 AM
Do you know who really uses Sia storage and what for?
I don't know (everybody i know use popular fast and cheap or free centralized storages) -> can't see why SC must go to the moon
I invested some Sia when it dumps the last time, it may take time before it really goes to the moon but it really does the ability to do it. As we see how cloud storage became useful this day, and use in many works or offices,  having it applied with blockchain can be more reliable and lower cost than buying a traditional cloud storage providers.
210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do's for trade in recent downtrend??? on: March 27, 2018, 10:09:32 AM
I am still losing money, I don't think my experience is useful!

I can only continue to hold my own digital encryption currency to wait for the price rise!

I won't sell my own coin, even if it's all zeroed out!

Sounds like you are in bad investment time. I believe cut loss is better than holding until it dumps hard but this depends on the token that you are holding. If that is a startup project with a good roadmap then hodl but if it's just a shitcoin that you randomly bought due to FUD. Then it is better to cut loss.
Cutting loses will only matter when the coins are worth it. Classify first your coins before selling or holding it at first. Do research and don't panic too much. Everyone been too frustrated since 2018, make it easy Guys.
If you are not reading my post before you quote. I already stated that you must analyze first if the coin you are holding is worth it to hold despite of price drop or not just like bitcoin. But if it's just a shitcoin then no need to treasure it. But I never do cut loss since I'm only buying major Altcoins and never buy a shitcoin.
211  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ethreum or Bitcoin? on: March 27, 2018, 10:02:16 AM
Is it better to invest into ethreum which has proved to be the most profitable and most stable altcoins until the vet recent dip and on the other hand we have bitcoin which is again in the stage of bullish ride.?
for a quick term investment I think eth, but if in a very long term better bitcoin. both have a very good reputation and are profitable for us to invest.

Bitcoin has good reputation but about ETH. One that ETH still alive is because ICO craze but their security is not good. ETH reputation is not the same unlike it was first introduce. Smart contract is a brilliant idea but keeping safe all the tokens created on their platform is not secured.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: felling depressed for holding bitcoin :/ on: March 27, 2018, 09:59:44 AM
You only have .5 BTC and now you're depressed while others have more than you have and they lost more than you lost. Thats why it is a huge risk when you try to invest in crypto. And this tag line is always be remembered, invest what you can afford to lose.

12000$ is a huge money and considering that he is just new in bitcoin, It is really depressing. Bad thing is he invest in wrong timing. The best thing he can do is hold so that he can have a chance to gain the loss again or cut-loss and buy dump altcoins which is more riskier.

214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is still legit? on: March 26, 2018, 11:34:21 PM
Yes they are still legit but there are some bad also so it's better to do analyzation before participating in any ICO better to read their whitepaper to get full info about them

You are posting this opinion just like all ICO will turn to scam someday. Thia will never happened because there is already regulators that will protect investors from scammy ICO, The only thing people needs to do is to avoid ICO that didn't have any documentation that supporting their project regarding their eligibility to launch an ICO.
215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: KuCoin vs Binance on: March 26, 2018, 11:20:16 PM
So I've been doing some research on this topic.

Personally, I prefer KuCoin, since their UI looks really nice and I like the KCS bonus (I referred myself Tongue ) Also they add the new currencies faster.

What are your thoughts on this?

Some links I found:

https://coinanalysis.io/kucoin-vs-binance/

https://cryptofastlane.com/blog/kucoin-vs-binance-exchange-kucoin-better-binance-best-cryptocurrency-exchange/

Good exchange is not determined in its UI because there so many shit exchange that have good UI but poor in service. Kucoin is just a piece of junk compared to Binance and their difference in terms of functionality is too far. Kucoin will be vanished someday due to lack of safety features.
216  Economy / Speculation / Re: $50,000 Bitcoin In The Next Couple Of Months? on: March 26, 2018, 11:16:59 PM
Keep in mind that this thread was opened at the beginning of November, when excessive optimism prevailed in the market and everyone celebrated in advance that the predictions of "Bitcoin to the Moon" would be fulfilled very soon.

But as time has passed and the speculators decided to leave only the spoils of bitcoin for us, it seems difficult that we can even get close to the $20,000 mark again this year.
The 20K USD price was speculated when the price of Bitcoin was only 2K USD and the market is on bear market. So there is chance that this speculation will happened. Besides that this 50k speculation is the next milestone set to 20K price.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] INVESTACO.IN 1M TOKENS $800,000 REWARDS, LOCAL MANAGERS NEEDED on: March 26, 2018, 11:14:07 PM

218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptos will die without new participants! on: March 26, 2018, 11:10:04 PM
That's also my worry. Investing the coins is always like a gambling and the money u win is always someone else's lost. Trading in exchange not create wealth but re distribution of the wealth. But now, no much people pay for ur invest.

You are talking about trading and not investing in crypto. People are mistakenly know trading as investing which is far different. Trading is what you are describing while investing was buying some token to support company even if it's a utility or security token. So no one lose everytime you gain because your profit is base on the project achievement.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any chance market bounce back to where it was on: March 26, 2018, 11:06:25 PM
There is chance the market would bounce back again, it has happened before and it would happen in future too. But, it would recover in the end of 2018.
We are not sure that the bear market will change in the end of the year because base on crypto history yearly. The transition of bear market to bull market are always happened on the mid year.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What criteria do you use to analyze ICOs? on: March 26, 2018, 12:15:26 PM
I don't use criteria anymore, and that isn't because I hop into every ICO. To me if the coin actually is a viable solution to what we have now, how come we can't airdrop and build a community around it? I prefer this method of distribution, and see no need for ICOs other than grabbing money from newbies.

First of all, Do you know what is the real of essence of ICO in the first place. ICO is for an initial funding for the start up project so without this kind of funding then a project will never be started especially if the devs team is not financially capable to start a project. Airdrop is a good way to distribute free tokens in different people but airdrop is use too by the devs to scam. Giving free tokens and then once listed on the exchange. OFC there will be a liquidity because of airdrop hunter selling their tokens which is what other newbie investor mistakenly saw as it's an active trading. Once the price pump due to newbie investors then the devs will dump their pre-mine coin and abandoned the project. There is so many history just like this one. So Airdrop alone is a big no.
