201  Economy / Services / Re: ♠ BETCOIN.AG ♠ Fixed Signature Campaign - Monthly Payments - No Free Spots ♠ on: November 07, 2017, 05:36:13 PM
Hi. I would like to announce that we have added a minimum post limit to the rules of our fixed campaign. However, in this place I point out that all the selected participants had an average number of posts per month in the area of 70-100 posts. When submitting offers for fixed campaign, we have counted that your average number of posts will not fall. So no one of you should suddenly have less than 30 posts, and if for reasons of problems, lack of time you predict that you will not write so many posts it is necessary to let us know. We will remove the participants, whose average number of posts suddenly fell after joining the fixed campaign. We will also remove the participants, who without informing us will write less than 30 posts. As mentioned above, all the selected participants have had a high average number of posts and in the postings we asked for not to fall after joining the fixed campaign. Please keep this in mind if you want to continue to participate in our campaign without any hassles. We apologize for the delay in payment, they are in progress. You will be paid 25% extra for a week between the pay-per-post campaign and the start of the fixed campaign. Thank you.

Do not make arbitrarily, vague, interpretative rules. 30 posts or more = get paid. 30 posts or less = no pay, anything else will just lead to problems. Some people may not find the time to keep up with an average of 100 posts if you were posting 100 posts before the change in rates. Consider that the rate has been cut to more than half, you can't expect people to continue doing the same amount of contributions. I will always have 30 or more posts with good grammar, not spamming bullshit and I expect to get paid for it.

Please calculate the rate that we pay and say if you look at the BTC / USD price you get less for posts? If you take part in a fixed campaign then the rate should be very satisfactory. And as for the average number of posts, we are just exactly hoping that your average will not fall, and if you have read the message, each of you has received a message that he agreed to, including in it:
Quote from: BetcoinCasino
At the beginning of each month you will receive the pay for the previous month, there is no minimum number of posts, but we count on your average number of posts will not fall.
It should not be any surprise what we wrote above. If we notice a significant decrease in the number of posts from any of you after joining the fixed campaign, that person will simply be removed from the campaign.
We also consider fixing the US Dollars instead of the BTC so that we do not change the rates every time. Currently, 0.05 BTC for Legendary with avatar, 0.045 for Hero with avatar is very good rate and if someone wants to receive it for 30 posts, it just will not be fair to agree to the terms sent to each person in the message. We know exactly how many each of you wrote and we will be careful to make sure that each one of you personally agreed was fulfilled. To remain in the campaign, you only have to follow the rules that you agreed on. None of you in the last few months have less than 30 posts, so the logic is that if someone is suddenly less than 30 it is a sign for us to such a person do not trust. This is the policy and we ask to inform us if something is happening in your life that does not allow you to write posts. Then we can find a solution together. If someone does not agree with our policies, we are very sorry and we suggest you choose another campaign.Thank you.

I am only making a very rational argument about it.

Suppose that a member was making an average of 70 posts/month on the previous terms. This guy is a Legendary member, making good posts, good grammar and so on, so gets accepted into the fixed campaign term. This means that this guy is now going to get 0.05BTC assuming he wears the avatar.

Similarly, another guy was making the maximum 100 posts/month for the previous terms on every month (so average is exactly 100), a Legendary member with good posts that gets promoted into the fixed campaign.

So what's the situation here?

Our first guy is going to get 0.05BTC paid for an average of 70 posts a month.

Our second guy is going to get 0.05BTC paid for an average of 100 posts a month.

Conclusion: The guy that contributed less previously, is now getting the same as the guy that used to contribute %30 more for the same payday.

Don't you see a problem here?

PS: I've been working with Betcoin for years and I would continue to do so, im just pointing out flaws that I think will only lead to drama when at the end of every month a guy makes 40 posts because he saw the minimum was 30, but his previous average before the fixed term was 80 (and some months you have more time to post than others), and here we go.

203  Economy / Speculation / Re: Monday correction TA - Head and Shoulders pointing to 6600 target on: November 06, 2017, 07:31:17 PM
We've broken the $7000 resistance point, let's see if it holds but we may test $6700. I just wonder if this is natural ups and downs at a technical level or highly influenced by the segwit2x hardfork. I think we would be much higher if the segwit2x nonsense wasn't looming on the horizon in a couple of days. Everyone is looking forward to get a perfect short, a lot will fuck up and lose BTC in the process, I may just hold it, it's not going to go lower enough for me to be scared about prices below entry points anyway.
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 217: Bisping vs GSP Info and Betting Thread on: October 29, 2017, 03:00:41 PM
Did anyone see that Khabib Nurmagomedov will fight Edson Barboza in UFC217? did anyone get dropped and got replaced with these guys or there were free spots for this fight?

This fight is huge, I want to see it more than Bisping vs GSP to be honest. Khabib is undefeated and I think will be the next fight for Conor after Tony Ferguson. I would like to see an undefeated Khabib fight Conor so I hope he wins. Also noticed how short Khabib's reach is. 70 inch reach for a 5'11 guy is pretty short. Barboza got 75 reach at 5'10'' and Conor got 74 reach at 5'9''. I guess Khabib is not going to try to throw hands and just constantly go for the takedown.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: next week good coin on: October 28, 2017, 03:01:32 PM
it's time for altcoins. if you want to get profit, buy altcoins now. because bitcoin has finished forking and bitcoingold holders are already selling their coins

Wrong. Segwit2x hardfork is still not done, so we will still have fireworks until November is done. We'll see how the market reacts to that. After that is done, it's definitely buyin the dip time (if there is a dip).

Also as far as I know, people aren't able to access their BTG yet until November when devs stop premining it, but the price has obviously gone down, so im not sure right now. Maybe some exchanges let you sell already but cold storaged BTG still can't be accessed right?
206  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Bitcoin will implode"... on: October 28, 2017, 01:08:05 PM
Im tired of all these oil rich idiots thinking they know anything about Bitcoin. Recently we also saw Jordan Buffet claiming Bitcoin is a bubble. He should have kept his dumb mouth shut and stick to his principle of not buying or talking about things you don't understand. Stick to Cola Cola but don't fucking FUD geez. If Jordan Buffet invested in something that I don't understand, would I go on the media and use my image to FUD it? nope, im not such a bitch, but these guys got no decorum whatsoever, that, or they think they know more than they know. You definitely can't claim that something is a bubble if you don't understand the fundamentals. The graph could have been looking like a bubble to many since it hit $2k, but if you understand the fundamentals you see how BTC is still tiny.
207  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mr. Thiel: Bitcoin Can Be The New Gold on: October 27, 2017, 04:04:35 PM
It is really interesting to always see the comparisons to gold with bitcoin because in a lot of ways they are very similar but a lot of ways they are so different. Gold is a physical tangible asset and so is backed by that whereas bitcoin is not backed by anything, this is the major difference in my opinion and one that worries me when people try to think of bitcoin as a store of value.

They're both abstract concepts. Bitcoin's a string of code. Gold's a lump of junk you pull out of the ground with a tiny bit of usefulness.

What counts is the concept they embody which is value theoretically beyond government control. In gold's case that's completely fictional, it's rigged. Bitcoin isn't there yet but might be one day.

I'd say what he's saying is right. It'll never be a currency.

Goldbugs usually talk about gold having inherent value on it. I think it's total bullshit. Sure it may have some applications here and there, but they could be replaced with other metals, and most of gold's marketcap is speculative just like bitcoin.

Sorry goldbugs but bitcoin beats gold on every department, except that you could still be using gold without any electricity, and gold has no hardfork dramas. But no-electricity means there's no civilization therefore no concept of money anymore, also hardfork problems will subdue with times since the more times bitcoin survives contentious hardforks the more immunized it becomes.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin Gold have a block explorer? on: October 27, 2017, 03:17:34 PM
The team was really slow and unprofessional to act for the fork with no official wallet yet or a working block-explorer.
They are shifting to a completely new algo and that might be a problem, but I believe they already have started mining the next blocks.
If I understood correctly, the developers were going to premine for 2 weeks which is ridiculous, but we are not seeing what is exactly being mined, what specific blocks and for what reward. If this process isn't open then it's even more ridiculous.

Also apparently the website got a DDOS attack when the split happened. I tried to access btcgpu.org and it didn't work.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Does Bitcoin Gold have a block explorer? on: October 26, 2017, 03:29:53 PM
I can't find a block explorer for Bitcoin Gold. Hasn't he hardfork happened yet? How can we control what blocks are being mined by the developers in the premine? How can I check my balances which should be equivalent to the BTC that I was holding at that particular point in time when the split happened?

Where in hell is the block explorer on this thing?
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto behind Bitcoin Gold? on: October 26, 2017, 02:43:45 PM
WHO SAYS THIS LOL

Most likely just trolls trying to pump Bitcoin Gold.

Im trying to find a Bitcoin Gold block explorer and it seems you can't even check the blockchain yet. Anyone knows? I want to see how much BTG I received since im not sure how much BTC I had in cold storage at that particular time when the snapshot happened like a day ago. I want to add it on my portfolio and track with the coinmarketcap api.
211  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Gold is Forking Off on: October 25, 2017, 04:22:18 PM
There was as snapshot where people is supposed to receive the coins 2 weeks from now because the devs are premining it for 2 weeks. This is fucking stupid lol. This fork could have been a decent experiment to see if equihash got any traction from miners but they had to premine it to turn it into a total joke. There's no point in bothering, I don't expect this to be worth even 2 figures rather soon. I understand the devs want some support but you have to find other alternatives to doing a premine if you don't want to carry that stigma in your coin forever.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of coins that BTC holders recieved for free on: October 25, 2017, 03:10:02 PM
There was (not sure if it is still available) an airdrop of Stellar Lumens for BTC holders. Claiming Bitcore requires providing BTC address and signing a message in your BTC wallet. It is available until November 2nd.

So it similar to to Byteball? I got some Byteballs by signing and verifying messages. It was a waste of time, I was unlucky to bother with this by the time they did the 180 on the rewards to try to stop dumping. Don't expect much, something along the lines of 10 bucks wort of 10 BTC signed, or at least it was this shit the last time I signed them. Not sure what % they are giving to holders now, they raised it apparently, but I didn't even bother opening my wallet since then.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Richest Saudi's Prince Statement on: October 24, 2017, 03:08:54 PM
I mean someone that rich you would think he would understand economics and the value of Bitcoin. Unless now that he's earned his money he's ignorant to up and coming technologies and just wants some publicity.

He's a Saudi Prince so I'm not sure what, if anything, he has "earned". In any case it's fun to watch these guys used to ordering people around try to tell reality what it must do. The problem for them is reality does what it wants.

plus this dude has completely lost control of his eyebrows in this video:

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/23/prince-alwaleed-says-bitcoin-will-implode-enron-in-the-making.html

These guys are not impressive at all. They woke up on a ton of oil and got filthy rich, big deal. These idiots wouldn't be able to understand bitcoin in a million years. They also prohibit drinking, gambling and hookers on their own countries and then leave to some other country that will allow for that and spend millions in drinks, gambling and strip clubs. Just hypocrite rich oil people as usual.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how BS is this all getting on: October 24, 2017, 12:51:03 PM
I don't understand the hype with "AIRDROP" coins. It's basically a way to disguise the fact that its been pre mined. Back in 2015 any coin which was pre mined got negative trust straight away and now people are just encouraging it and investing in it.

This is because people want to try different things from PoW, but unfortunately if you don't use PoW, you are then stuck in a sea of akward possibilities such as ICO, airdrops, or forking an existing coin or whatever.

Some projects have good ideas like Byteball, but the way the coins are distributed is a joke. You basically depend on some russian guy that controlls all the supply airdropping it properly, also they change airdrop terms out of nowhere as they go, I like the simplicity and predictability of PoW when it comes to delivering the supply. Nobody has come up with other ideas.
215  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto winter is coming again … on: October 23, 2017, 04:22:56 PM
I wonder why no one has come up yet with a bitcoin hardfork that goes back to no-segwit and continues with 1MB and keeps same hashing algo etc, so you get the original bitcoin, and maybe keep all the good work that Core has done optimizing the client because it's fast as fuck compared to older versions (you got to admit that). Not sure if there have been any compromises to reach that speed in validating the blockchain tho, I just talk from an end user experience. Back in the day, I remember running Bitcoin-qt and it was so much resource consuming to load, maddening actually. It would constantly crash. I think in around 0.13 when they switched to secp256k1 it became way faster. Eventually the resource consumption went down and now I have no problems.

This way we would have a pre-segwit bitcoin with 1MB just in case something went wrong with segwit, and we wouldn't risk getting nodes flooded with trash not being able to run them like it could happen if the 8MB of BCash got filled with spam. This fork could be used as an hedge until original chain is (somehow, i dont know the technical details) restored. I predict someone will do this in 2018, which some are calling "the year of bitcoin forks" where we will have "bitcoin whatever" left and right.
216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $250000 by 2020 if the seven year trend continues on: October 23, 2017, 02:39:23 PM
LOL. There is no way bitcoin can reach $250000 by 2020 due to many reasons. First of all, bitcoin is not a type of money and it can not supply all the people on this planet. Seconds, the fee is always an important issue. If bitcoin is $250000, the fee will be extremely high and no one will use bitcoin. IN the future, bitcoin can increase very high, but it can not cross $100000

You don't need all the people on this planet to use bitcoin to reach 6 figures pretty soon, you just need the rich people of the world to diversify their portfolios and add a small % of it on bitcoin, and ledger-x is a start for this exponential growth to take place without average joes getting into bitcoin.
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet: McGregor will fight Malignaggi in 2018 on: October 22, 2017, 03:55:15 PM
Anyone would want to bet some BTC in a McGregor vs Malignaggi fight in 2018?

I think it will happen. McGregor enjoyed his venture in boxing, and he enjoyed the money too. When you get paid that high, you want more, and he isn't going to get that type of money in the UFC.

I think somewhere in 2018 the fight will happen.. possibly in 2019 too, depending on how active he is on the UFC.

Malignaggi is pumping the fight already, the drama is set for a fun hype until it happens, big money on the lane (obviously not Mayweather money, but more than any UFC fight). I think it will happen.

Actually I have been reading this for quite a few times specially around boxing forums. Paulie hype is that they can make a lot of money and of course the drama behind those pictures and videos during his sparring time with Conor. It will really be a good option for Conor since he can't make the kind of money if ever he goes back to the Octagon. And Paulie during interviews says that Conor has no f**** balls. So let the fun begins. And he also said that his Manager is already talking to UFC (I assumed Dana White) already.

Yeah he said there's something in the works right now. But if that wasn't enough, check this out:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1BP1gXMmBM

Mayweather out of nowhere posts 2 videos training on his gym, he didn't post any captions and didn't allow comments.

Is he training to come back and fight GGG? Is he training to help Malignaggi beat Conor? training just to stay in shape? or he is just fucking around to get traffic on his instagram and then spam his strip club ads? lol

You never know with his man. He has retired so many times I lost count.

219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits $6000. How far will it go until 25th? on: October 21, 2017, 02:51:11 PM
Bitcoin Gold is irrelevant. It's premined, so it's dead on arrival. Also, people aren't going to access to the coins until well past 25th, it will be around segwit2xcoin fork, so people will most likely move their cold storage once and kill 2 birds with 1 stone and access both BTG and S2X. Stop thinking 25th october matters. It may dip due so many idiots thinking it matters, but I dont see a major crash.
220  Economy / Speculation / Is this a new record? on: October 19, 2017, 03:22:55 PM
Bitcoin price in 2017-10-18: $5101.4

Bitcoin price in 2017-10-19: $5735

24 hour recovery of $633,6: holy shit. Have we ever seen such a recovery before? The recovery of the chinese ban was pretty epic itself but I think it was not as quick in 24 hours, and im not sure if it's even been 24 hours yet since the dip, we'll see at what price do we finish today but that was nuts.
