201  Economy / Services / Re: [PREV] SigBuddy - Weekly Signature, Payment Manager. Auto join. on: June 15, 2016, 04:20:39 PM
Hi npredtorch thanks for the answers, they're spot on.

Users will be able to use the tool. and managers can use the web-version to see statistics of each of their campaigns.

They might also get cool functionalities such as "kick" for inactive users.

Yeah , right! Plugin for the users of the campaign and a special web page for the manager. I should have just pointed it out more LOL .
Anyway, thanks for specifying it and good luck!

Thanks for the support npredtorch!

You were one of our first supporters. Hopefully the community will support this project much more, so we can actually get prototypes rolling out Wink

How far from release are you OP ? I really wanna try your site. Please update us. I want to know what your plans are for further development.

Hi Jason Thanks for the support. I will release a special demo version! I'll wait to see if anyone else want a demo released. so you can try out the game and play any online players in a demo mode Wink
203  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★Find the coin★ | multiplayer | gambling game on: June 15, 2016, 12:47:37 PM
Like some otheres here mentioned I think this concept would be fun only in player vs player cases, like screen is split in two and you can see both your and your opponents time, scores and of course boxes so you can see in realtime whether you're winning or not, the one who wins of course takes all deposites minus house edge (5%?)

Hi mkr Thanks for the support.

You're absolutely right! I also believe there should be some sort of feature to let you see who's winning (if they're not distracting you by talking) Wink nice idea
204  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★Find the coin★ | multiplayer | gambling game on: June 15, 2016, 12:20:23 PM
I think you need to update the design/look in a bad way.  It is very plain.  I don't have any interest in playing it just because of that.  I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but that's what people do.  I saw the pictures and scrolled right on by the explanation.

Hi Raibow, thanks for the comment

I have produced an update just for you

Please take a look and give us your response. Hopefully more users will make more suggestions, so we can tailor the UI/UX experience Wink
205  Economy / Services / Re: [PREV] SigBuddy - Weekly Signature, Payment Manager. Auto join. on: June 15, 2016, 09:32:27 AM
Great plugin. Got very much excited to get a try.I have some couple question and suggestions for plugin development.

a)If join request is send to signature thread. Will it wait for the campaign manager approval or will directly start up counting right after join request?

b)Most campaign managers don't count spammy posts or posts that are irrelevant to thread or violates one of rule in signature thread so in that case the plugin you are developing will not provide the actual earning .

c)Many signature posters have different taste about signature campaigns. Some like daily payment, some like monthly and some like weekly and in same way they also their choices are widen with the rules of signature campaign so I think it will be better to make a kind of form about signature poster preference and then search automatically the best campaign.

d) In case if signature poster is kicked will the bot will be back to search a new campaign?

e) Most of campaign has minimum/maximum posts .So I guess it will be better to make a kind of progress bar for that.If postcount<minimum then progress bar becomes red otherwise green.

I really like the plugin features but there are also a lot of things to develop.GL  Smiley

Thanks for the quiz Avirunes, I'l try to answer them as accurate as possible.

a) Campaign managers, would need to add/setup their signature and payments (for each rank) on our websites. The plugin will help check if a user is already in a campaign. If they're not, it will put them on the highest paying campaign that has free space.

b) Each post will be checked. The first step is checking the amount of words used, the interval between each posts, and if all else fails, the manager would always be able to view each users posts on the website. with the option to not pay for posts/kick users out of the campaign (this will also be reviewed by us since its very critical)

c) The server has a play script. its like writing music. you get to select what you want, and what you don't. For example. you can select payment method (weekly or per post), user type (with negative trust or without), minimum rank, maximum posts... So when the server fills these posts, it selects all the top free accounts, who best match the criteria.

d) If a user is kicked, in most cases it'll be because they have broken a rule. Rule breaking is a 24hr ban. After 20 bans/year, the user will not be able to use the plugin until the next year. "There will be an option to freeze your account on the server, you wont be paid if you do, but it'll help you not get banned because it removes/stops you from joining campaigns until you unfreeze it "

e) Yes, if you don't meet the minimum post per week, you wont be paid for that campaign, you wont be "kicked" but you're account will be put in  a "freeze" state - it's used to prevent inactive users from joining campaigns, which also reduces the load on our server when processing all of this.

206  Economy / Services / Re: [PREV] SigBuddy - Weekly Signature, Payment Manager. Auto join. on: June 15, 2016, 08:04:16 AM
Where can get this plugins and how it works.. how about the rates per week how much the rate per week? according to image $20 and 25 post/week.
I don't understand the whole concept or what its the use of the plugins.. its confused..

Hi crairezx20!

Thanks for the interest. I didn't expect so much responses.

The plugin is still in development. This is still a preview to see if anyone likes the services.

The price/per week is hidden to make the UI look good. But it could be added somewhere ...

For other questions, this is a tool for users.

The idea behind this is actually great!
But I would have some doubts regarding security issues. If I understand correctly, user will have to
input his username and password in to your plug-in.  What are the odds that all this information will not stay confidential? From a plugin made to help count post and earnings this may become a plugin to still accounts...
As always people stay vigilante.

Hi poptok1,

Thanks for the concerns. We understand.

Users wouldn't have to input any of their details into the application. For security, even if are VPS (with all the firewalling and encryption) were breached, the user doesn't even need to change their password. All they would need to do, is logout and log-in again. This would reset access to anyone.

Since its a chrome extension you can always decompile it, and check its source code to understand a little bit on how it works, whenever
you have any extra time.
207  Economy / Services / Re: [PREV] SigBuddy - Weekly Signature, Payment Manager. Auto join. on: June 15, 2016, 08:00:36 AM
Cool man, but how can we earn in this campaign? Can you provide us with the full information on the terms of payments and all the necessary requirement to join this campaign.

Are you retarded ? Can you read ? Dumbass this is not a signature campaign so stop spamming already.

@OP Nice.Is there a way we can have a actual preview of the plugin ? The plugin is chrome extension or needs to be installed ? The only problem would be the efficiency of the system weather it makes any mistakes while post counting. Also there is no way you can check if the post is applicable for payment or not as it needs a human only feedback unless you have complex NLP algos.

Hi Joel,

Thanks for the response. For knowing whether comments are valid for payments, that's why I've been asking so much questions. What makes a question valid, what type of comments would you pay for? - The app is still in development, if you could help me with some of the answers, i would implement them into the app. The server also has the capabilities to extract each post, by each member and process them.

This the campaign to help spread the news will be coming shortly.
This tool in itself is a campaign manager. It joins any signature campaigns automatically for you. and pays you automatically.

where is signature bbcode so that we can wear it and post ? i didnt understand the full scheme of this campaign. please ellaborate briefly so that we can understand what is it all about.

The point of the tool, is so users don't have to do all that. it will automatically do everything for you.

The answers are above you written by Digital_Lord. This is not a signature campaign and you can't earn from this. OP created a browser plugin to automate the task needed for a signature campaign. He is offering this tool for Campaign managers or for soon to be campaign managers.

209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I did not understand something with the Bitcoin on: June 15, 2016, 12:36:35 AM
But the real question is, why wouldn't you convert your wages to fiat instantly? Why wouldn't your employer check the valuation of bitcoin to usd,  before paying you?

I personally wouldn't accept any constant amount of btc,  as a wage.
210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinbase is run by idiots on: June 14, 2016, 11:42:05 PM
From you're description it sounds like some sort of loss prevention mechanism kicked in. I'm probably wrong. Perhaps it was just another natural error.
Have you tried other exchanges like btc-e and bitstamp? They're the only ones i can trust when it comes to trading.
211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does auto trading bot make good profit ? on: June 14, 2016, 11:41:11 PM
Well, if you're "smart" enough to entrust you capital on a bot which only monitors graphs, and ignores news sources such as Twitter, bitcoinTalk, coinbase... all the financial news agencies. Then you probably deseve whatever "profit" you make
212  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible to ask somewhere online for a donation through bitcoin? on: June 14, 2016, 11:38:27 PM
Well, Gleb.
My apartment costs a total of $510 a month. I'm using pantries for food, so I don't think that matters... and roughly for gas a month, I think I spend about $30 right now to go to applications and the pantry.
So about $540
I'm not sure if there is a transaction fee to convert bitcoins into your bank, but I use coinbase if that helps :3

EDIT::
Themos? Whats that??

Ahh Thermos!

The bank of liquid gold
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I did not understand something with the Bitcoin on: June 14, 2016, 11:23:14 PM
wait for the price to increase... and surpass whatever price you got the bitcoins at.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STRATIS | The Microsoft .NET/C# Blockchain Development Framework on: June 14, 2016, 11:10:26 PM
Shame. .NET probably downgraded the value of this project.

You'll need to create a version targeting for windows 10, and windows 7/8. You wont be able to reach enterprise organisations who frequently use Linux. and does that have Mac systems. You should have released this project under Java, C++ Qt, or Python Qt.
Apart from my opinions above.. . it pretty much sounds & feels like another ripple, without portability options.

But, I would like to know real-time statistics of how many people, who are actually hosting nodes, including how many nodes being hosted by your organisation.

[EDT]

You're leaving the future of your platform to mono,  and inconsistent/incomplete port the .NET framework?

Lukily you have libraries for other languages, this could be interesting.

Hi NyeFe,

I do not understand your point.

NBitcoin and our Full node framework will be supported on Linux and Mac (OSX) via Mono. However we will be upgrading the whole platform to .NET core, Microsofts latest version of the .Net framework that now supports Linux and OSX without the need for mono.

We will not be relying on Mono going forward and .NET core is the game changer that can allow C# to become the most dominant Blockchain development language inside corporations.

It has also been open sourced which allows us to build a financial platform on top of it. Our development team would not feel confident developing a financial platform on a closed source framework.

This was included in my first response.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

You can read more about .NET core here https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/dotnet/2014/12/04/introducing-net-core/

C# is a great language, lets not forget XAML & Visual studios, which is the great part of the language. XAML is not supported in .NET core, and you get "Visual studio code," instead of "Visual studio,". Mono works great on mobiles, on Desktops, its like building a car with tires from a bicycle. It just doesn't feel right.

Opensource means nothing if you're not setting the trend anymore. As it stands, C# has 3.7% market share with a -1.2% change, where alternative such as JAVA (20.7%), C (12.3%), C++ (6.1%) has a larger proportion of the pie. Your company obviously want to reach to as much developers as possible. But those developers are running away from C#.NET and moving to lower level languages, or the JVM, which would allow them to use languages such as JAVA, Scala, Python (Jython), Ruby (JRuby), Groovy and Clojure to develop for platforms such as Android, Mac, Windows, and Linux with a single compilation. RoboVM is much like Mono, which completes the puzzle by allowing native IOS development with JAVA! Even typing "blockchain" on Github, would lis various popular projects/languages with C# last.

TLD; C# has a small opensource developer base, you made a bad choice. Use Java, or like Lisk, use Javascript.

[Update]

A preview has been released.

To support everyone, and to make it as simple as possible, we decided to use browser extensions instead of Desktop apps.
How exactly does a browser extension with with this? I thought it was supposed to just be a website.

Noooooooo Wink We're not providing junk! This is real. This is powerful.

How it works, is that it keeps you logged-in and updated (on our server) as long as you're logged-in on bitcointalk.

From there, your sigs will be updated automatically, and payments will bitcoin_address on the bitcoin address on your profile (weekly).
On the server side, it checks every hour that each account (member in a sig) is following the rules or else, they will be banned for 24hrs ...
Oh I see. This way it pretty much never risks users accounts even if you are hacked. It would require a malicious browser extension.

That's the key actually, nice spot. Even if we're hacked, the user accounts will never be risked.

At most, a user would just need to logout and back in, and any access to anyone will be gone instantly. Its just amazing.

219  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoins price prediction & estimation after halving - $799.15 - $1868.52? on: June 13, 2016, 04:04:01 PM
You see indeed now that the price of Bitcoin will be more worth but it is hard to know what is going to happen in the future with Bitcoin itself and that is the problem.
Because there are also many people that is saying that the value will be more worth and they say that the value will not jump in the halving and that is bad.

The "normal" price of bitcoin (lowest, stable price) is normally ~$250 Dollars. I think the price will shift to about ~$320 to $410 dollars, once everything has cooled down. Again, the amount of concurrent events that are happening are just so much, that it'l be a while before we start seeing those values.
