this is the first time i've ever heard of someone not getting paid on there.  it rlly sounds more like to me someone lost a bunch of satoshis playin poker and was hopin the rakeback would save him then when the rakeback wasn't all that much (rakeback never is) he got all butthurt.

yeah couldn't help it there.  i've worried about glbse, mostly bc thats the only place other than my wallet i have bitcoins.  I've also thought of someone cracking the poker mavens software, and using it to cheat on sealswithclubs.eu  but so far that site seems really secure.

i don't know about severe retardation of the hackees but it seems like the lesson is being taught over and over to keep your btc in your wallet.  I deserve to lose the 3.5 btc bc i should have known better.  That was the first thing i thought when i saw the exchange go crazy, if i deposit coins i will lose them.  But of course there's this platinum coin i've been coveting lately and if could sell 3 btc @ 55 each then i have it.  This is called being a mark.  All grifters rely on the weakness of greed.  

i agree (although i'm still pissed about probably losing 3.5 btc but whatever).  Although it really does suck that we seem to be plagued with thieves it does show that overall the currency is valuable and has a future.  Its the same as when the trolls started showing up on sealswithclubs.eu lobby.  They annoyed the crap out of everyone but my point was they are a sign of growth.   Of course a thief is much worse than a troll and what happened on btc-e today is awful and my heart goes out to ppl who were burned for more serious amounts of money.  Same way with the bitcoinica fiasco, it really sucks that ppl have the capacity to stoop so low.  But big picture is that btc gets stronger.

yeah a feature in cgminer to find optimum settings for video cards would be awesome.  I know in my guts that cgminer can mine more effieciently than reaper but i haven't figured out how to do it (i use a pool to find the true khash, bc reaper reports funny)

the soldicoin wars were pretty damned funny, and some of the tricks rs/ch/whomever pulled out were pretty brilliant.  when he dropped the block rewards to like nothing i was pretty surprised at the audacity.  bcx is pretty funny tho.  I'm hoping the next villain robs someone of 1 million litecoins then uses them to finance bbqcoin.

damn since the orig thread got locked i'll post my reply in this one.   The OP of the locked thread rang of some truth.  The impression i got was that bcx was projecting himself onto "paul holcomb" in order to distance himself from "danny maddox".  I wouldn't be surprised if he were actually stalking a random asian woman from the internet.  I'm not real sure the facebook page danny maddox is him tho, the page doesn't give me the impression that thats rlly him, mostly bc it doesn't have any epeen on it.   anyway, what happens when you fake 51 attack a philipino lady?
